David Eason Flaunts Confederate Flag Again, Taunts Haters

David Eason has found himself mired in controversy once again.

Which is just the way he likes it, of course.

The close-minded and bigoted husband of Jenelle Evans has once again taken to Instagram in order to show love for the Confederate Flag.

Does he care that this is considered a symbol of slavery to millions of people, considering it represented the side of the Civil War that fought for slavery way back in the day?

Nope. Not at all.

On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, Eason waved the flag around proudly and then responded to critics who had the gall to question him for doing so.

Check out his scandalous photos and then read the backlash to them below…

1. The Confederacy Forever!

The Confederacy Forever!
David Eason has made it very clear: he sees nothing wrong with waving the Confederate Flag all around the country. He’s quite proud of it, in fact.

2. America! Eff Yeah!

America! Eff Yeah!
“Just planting my flag in all 50 states! #merica #rebel,” wrote Eason as a caption to this photo of him with the controversial flag.

3. Slavery Rules!

Slavery Rules!
David Eason has received quite a bit of backlash for his stance on this flag, but here’s a shocker: he does not care. At all.

4. We’ve Been Here Before with Eason

We've Been Here Before with Eason
In October 2018, Eason posed like this and wrote the following as a caption: “Where I’m from is who I am and my family fought and died for this land. Red white and blue comes in more than one pattern. Dont argue just get off my page if you dont agree!”

5. How Did Jenelle React to the Latest Flag Waving?

How Did Jenelle React to the Latest Flag Waving?
Very positively. “Lmao you need to post that video,” she wrote in response to Eason sharing these new photos, indicating there’s actual footage of him standing up high with the flag.

6. David Isn’t Racist!

David Isn't Racist!
Back in October, Jenelle actually said the following to a critic of Eason and his flaf embrace: “My husband isn’t racist… his childhood best friend was black. [I don’t know] where this rumor came from.” Yes, she really did use this argument.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: I Never Banged Jewish Barbie! I Love Jen Harley!

We all know that reality TV shows rarely depict anything that could be accurately described as reality.

From the Teen Moms to the Real Housewives, just about everyone who’s appeared on a long-running reality series has complained at one point or another about being the victim of a bad edit.

It’s a necessary evil, as producers are tasked with the job of crafting narratives out of raw footage and creating heroes and villains, while in real life, most of us are somewhere in the middle of that spectrum.

The latest (alleged) victim of this trend is Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who claims his implied affair with “Jewish Barbie” on last week’s Jersey Shore Family Vacation was concocted by the showrunners in an effort to provide viewers with the drama they crave.

Take a look:

1. Ariana’s Parents

Ariana's Parents
Ron and Jen have certainly experienced some ups and downs over the course of their relationship, but they remain committed to making it work.

2. Rough Patches

Rough Patches
Ronnie and Jen’s impassioned confrontations have made for some of the most memorable drama on this season of Shore.

3. What Happens In Vegas …

What Happens In Vegas ...
Who could forget Jen’s explosive — and unexpected — visit to Ron while the Shore gang was partying in Vegas?

4. What a Drag

What a Drag
And of course, there was the incident in which Jen allegedly dragged Ronnie with her car — a confrontation that both sides now say was exaggerated by the media.

5. Even So …

Even So ...
Jen has made no secret of the fact that she’s got a bit of a temper (making her a perfect fit for Ron), so fans have been encouraging Magro to tread lightly this season.

6. Enter Jewish Barbie

So when Angelina’s friend Lindsay, aka Jewish Barbie, entered the shore-less Shore house and began showing an interest in Ron, there was widespread concern for his well-being.

Mackenzie Standifer: Threatening to Abandon Baby with Ryan Edwards?!

So Mackenzie Standifer sure has been going through a lot lately, right?

Or, well, pretty much ever since she made the extremely questionable decision to start dating Ryan Edwards.

But things have definitely gotten more intense in the past few weeks.

After all, welcoming a new baby while your husband goes off to rehab for at least a few months will do that.

So maybe that’s why Mackenzie has been behaving a little strangely lately — the stress.

But still, her latest comments are pretty darn concerning …

1. Poor Mackenzie

Poor Mackenzie
Who would have thought that having Ryan Edwards for a husband would be rough?

2. … Oh

Every single person who’s ever seen even a second of footage of him from Teen Mom? Yeah, that’s kind of what we thought.

3. Real Talk

Ryan has always been the worst, and there’s no shortage of evidence of this.

Ever since we first saw him as Maci’s boyfriend in her episode of 16 and Pregnant, he’s been self-centered, lazy, mean … just so many bad things.

Javi Marroquin Relationship Timeline: Did He Get Lauren Pregnant While Still Boning Briana?!

The Teen Mom franchise has introduced us to some pretty sleazy baby daddies over the years.

And while Javi Marroquin may never be on par with David Eason or Adam Lind, he seems desperate to prove that he’s capable of truly sinister behavior.

As you may have heard, Javi’s fiancee, Lauren Comeau, welcomed her first child last week.

And the timing of the birth has raised some interesting questions — and a few accusations — regarding Marroquin’s recent romantic past.

Take a look:

5. Bri on the Case

6. The Timeline

Bri’s got a compelling case, but we decided to break her claims down to try and determine just how worried Lauren should be about her man’s wandering eye.

Steve Carell: Did He Announce a Reboot of The Office on Saturday Night Live?!

It’s been over five years since the last episode of The Office aired

You still miss it, don’t you?

It was just such a fun, funny, delightful little show, and so very many people loved it so very much.

And since we’re in a time right now when many beloved shows are getting reboots — Roseanne, Murphy Brown, the new Sabrina series on Netflix, just to name a few — fans have been clamoring for a reboot of The Office, too.

There have been rumors about this for a while now, and even a few somewhat promising reports.

We’ve heard that a reboot could happen with just a few of the old cast members and some new characters.

But, over the years, Steve Carell, the man behind the World’s Best Boss, Michael Scott, has maintained that it wouldn’t be a great idea.

He’s also made it pretty clear that if it did happen, he most likely wouldn’t be involved.

Well, Steve hosted Saturday Night Live last night … and he may have changed his tune!

After he kicked off his opening monologue, an audience member interrupted him to ask if he’d ever reboot the show.

“No, actually, I don’t think so,” he answered. “It was a great experience, I love all those people, but I just don’t think it’s the best idea, I think maybe we should just leave it alone.”

Then Kenan Thompson popped up in the audience to tell him that no, it would be the best idea.

“It would be like someone wanted you to reboot Kenan and Kel,” Steve argued.

Kenan told him that it “would be an honor” if that happened — so seriously, can that happen?

But then Ellie Kemper stood up.

Ellie Kemper who played that adorable, goofy receptionist, Erin, in later seasons.

“People would really love to see an Office reboot,” she told him. “Especially me. I need that money. Let’s get that money, Steve!”

He still refused, so she called him a jerk and sat back down.

So it was Ed Helms’ turn.

Ed Helms has gone on to star in tons and tons of movies, but many people still know him as Andy Bernard, that good ol’ Cornell graduate who loves singing and has anger management issues.

“I just don’t think you understand how much money we’re talking about,” he said to Steve. “Like, you wouldn’t have to do all those sad movies anymore.”

(Steve is hosting SNL because he has a new movie, Beautiful Boy, coming out in which he plays a father with a drug addict son.)

He explained that he doesn’t do those movies for money, and so it was time to pull out the big guns:

Jenna Fischer, AKA Pam Beasley-Halpert.

“Steve, do you remember the last words Pam secretly whispered to Michael as she left for Denver?” she asked, referencing a fan-favorite moment.

When he said he didn’t, she told him “She said, ‘Steve, don’t be a dick, do the reboot.'”

Finally, Steve’s actual wife and kids urged him to do it … so was what enough?!

“Seems like everyone wants this to happen,” Steve said to the audience. “Do you want to see an Office reboot?”

Everyone cheered, because honestly, everyone does want to see that.

He asked Ellie, Ed, and Jenna to come up on the stage with him, then said “I am proud to announce officially …”

“We have a great show tonight!”

Yep, he really did play us like that.

Obviously there’s still no reboot in the works, but hey, maybe this was them sort of testing the waters, trying to see if people would want to watch?

We can dream.

Leah Messer Admits to Drug Problem: The Shocking Details

If you’ve kept up with Teen Mom 2 over the years, then you’re definitely familiar with Leah Messer and her …

Well, her dark times.

A few years ago, she began behaving strangely, as we saw in episodes, and many fans speculated that she’d developed a drug problem.

She was falling asleep while talking on the phone, she temporarily lost custody of her twins to Corey Simms.

And while she’s admitted that she did take prescription painkillers for a short period of time after giving birth to her youngest daughter, she’s never outright said that she’s had a problem with them.

She’s definitely never said that a drug problem was to blame for all that questionable behavior.

But in a new episode of her podcast, Leah is finally getting honest.

1. Oh, How Things Have Changed

Oh, How Things Have Changed
Leah Messer may not have the constant trashy drama that Jenelle Evans has, and she may not be as unlikable as Farrah Abraham, but she definitely has one of the most compelling stories on Teen Mom.

2. SO Sad

In the audio series’ second-ever episode, Auj and Jer explain the real reasons for which they quit the show.

90 Day Fiance: Two Sneak Peeks, Two HUGE Fights

This week’s 90 Day Fiance news has been dominated by Larissa’s arrest as we’ve learned more and more about what happened.

But now we have not one but two new sneak peeks for this weekend’s episode.

Which two couples had huge fights? Take a look:

Jonathan and Fernanda argue on 90 Day Fiance

First, let’s start with Jonathan and Fernanda.

After Fernanda exits the bathroom to find Jonathan seemingly dancing with another woman, she goes ballistic.

She confronts them (that’s a bit of an understatement) and storms out.

Jonathan is clearly, visibly intoxicated but upset that she’s upset. She demands the keys to the car.

“Do you want to get married with me?” Fernanda asks.

His behavior has, just as when she found another woman’s thong in his apartment, made her second-guess everything.

Fernanda hates to feel stupid on 90 Day Fiance

Jonathan tries to address her doubts and insecurities.

“Of course I do,” he insists, assuring her that he wants to marry her.

We’re not shaming anyone for drinking, and we don’t doubt his sincerety, but he would have sounded more convincing if he’d been less under the influence.

“Well show me!” Fernanda suggests. “Because I don’t feel that!”

Fernanda is clearly feeling hurt and angry and cannot help but wonder, once again, if she uprooted her entire life for nothing.

Jonathan is clearly distressed, but in his current state, isn’t exactly helping his case.

“She’s not even my type,” he protests.

He means to sound sweet, but it totally misses the point. And Fernanda wants to leave — but she’s not ready to talk about it.

Jonathan shares with the 90 Day Fiance cameras that this is caused by Fernanda’s immaturity.

He admits that this sort of thing is exactly what they had warned him about.

He, too, is beginning to second guess their plans to marry.

Real talk: Fernanda is 19 years old. Jonathan is in his early 30s.

Of course there is a maturity gap. They’re both adults, but they’re at different points in their lives.

Did Fernanda overreact? Yes. That’s not super surprising coming from a teenager.

That said, the two of them met in a club in Maxico in the first place.

Maybe Jonathan should be more sensitive of his fiancee’s feelings and take a proactive approach to addressing her insecurities.

That said, the nice thing about these two is that neither of them is the bad guy.

Kalani yells and drives on 90 Day Fiance

Kalani and Asuelu’s engagement is complicated by a baby and by Kalani’s family.

Their fight, however, comes from a place of misunderstanding about baby safety.

Maybe it’s a cultural difference, as Kalani suggests, or maybe Asuelu is just newer to being a parent.

But their precious baby begins crying while Kalani is driving.

(Also she’s eating cheetos with her hands while she drives which makes me recoil; I use chopsticks for those)

Asuelu responds by wanting to comfort the baby, who is clearly in distress, but he does it in the wrong way.

Asuelu gripes on 90 Day Fiance

Asuelu removes their baby from the car seat.

Car seats for babies are not optional or suggestions. Babies are small and delicate.

If you’re going to have a baby hurtling along at 80 miles per hour, neither a seatbelt nor a parent’s arms are sufficient protection.

Kalani tells him this — actually, she yells this at him. All the time, their baby is crying.

Kalani is eventually able to pull over, still very frustrated with Asuelu.

Asuelu says that he didn’t know about that, and feels hurt that Kalani was less than gentle about educating him on it.

Once again, there’s no real bad guy here — but it looks like Asuelu needs ot learn some more if he’s serious about being a father.
