J Alexander is blasting Burberry for showcasing a hoodie with a noose around the neck … saying the people who gave it the green light are the ones who should be hanged!
We got the famed “American’s Next Top Model” coach Tuesday at LAX, and he didn’t hold back in his criticism of Burberry’s design from London Fashion Week.
As you might know … Burberry apologized after getting tons of backlash for showcasing the noose hoodie, calling it a mistake and insensitive. Even the model who was forced to wear the hoodie is speaking out, saying “suicide is not fashion.”
But, on the heels of racist blunders from Gucci and Prada, Miss J ain’t havin’ it!
You gotta see his call for Burberry to be brought to fashion justice. Basically, he thinks the brand deserves a taste of its own medicine — but he says in his own VERY colorful way.
Andy King‘s blown away by his newfound fame — courtesy of his infamous scene in Netflix’s “Fyre” documentary — but admits he almost missed out, because he wanted it on the editing room floor.
The event planner who offered oral sex in exchange for a load of Evian water for the doomed Fyre Festival … told us he begged producers to axe that part of the story. While he was on TMZ Live today he revealed why the director put the kibosh on that.
Andy’s now glad he did, because TV and movie offers have been rolling in since the doc aired, and he’s riding the wave of being a social media hero while he can.
As we told you … Andy’s already teased a TV project he’s working on, but it sounds like there’s a lot more in store for him. There could be even more excitement, too … if Ja Rule comes calling.
Andy didn’t leap at Ja’s second attempt at a Fyre-like fest — but he doesn’t rule it out, either.
Lady Gaga and her fiance have called off their engagement … ending their two-year relationship … TMZ has confirmed.
The singer and Christian Carino started dating back in February 2017 around the time she performed at the Super Bowl halftime show and just months after she called off her engagement to Taylor Kinney. Her relationship heated up fast with Christian … wasting no time kanoodling with him in the Hamptons.
It’s unclear when exactly the 50-year-old agent proposed … but LG during a speech at Elle’s 25th annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in October 2018, LG revealed the engagement when she thanked “my fiance, Christian.”
There were signs the relationship was on the rocks … fans noticed Christian was nowhere in sight when she hit up the Grammys. He was also absent from Gaga’s Instagram feed on Valentine’s Day.
We’re told Tristan flew into Los Angeles to spend Valentine’s Day Thursday with Khloe and their daughter, True. On Saturday night, he hit up Delilah nightclub in WeHo, where he snuggled up with Kylie’s bff, Jordyn Woods.
Witnesses tell us Tristan and Jordyn were all over each other in the club … making out. We’re told Khloe found out Monday and immediately broke things off with the NBA player.
We’re told there’s little chance for reconciliation … Khloe and Tristan are done.
You’ll recall back in October, 2017, Tristan was at a hookah lounge in Washington D.C. where he motorboated a woman and got handsy with another. The video surfaced days before Khloe gave birth, and just before she delivered he was seen on video going into an NYC hotel with yet another woman.
Khloe hasn’t been back to Cleveland much this season, though the 2 still remained together. She was on hand when Tristan’s team ended an extended losing streak.
We don’t know Kylie’s reaction to the latest development, but she and Jordyn have been inseparable.
WWE legend X-Pac understands why people are upset Chyna is going into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of D-Generation X … and not individually … but he insists it’s still a VICTORY for her.
“I totally understand where they’re coming from,” Sean Waltman tells TMZ Sports … “Of course she deserves to go in by herself.”
But Waltman — who was engaged to Chyna in real life in 2003 — says the WWE only has a limited number of people they can induct each year and he believes they’re doing the best they can.
WWE announced on Monday the main members of DX (as a group) will be included in the H.O.F. class of 2019. Meaning Chyna will be enshrined with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn and, of course, X-Pac.
But a swell of wrestling fans feel Chyna was such an important figure in WWE — the first and only WWF intercontinental champion — that she shouldn’t have to share the honor with anyone.
X-Pac says he understands the frustration — but says Chyna would still be thrilled with the honor.
“I hope that the people who think this about her are still grateful that she’s going in because this is a win and sometimes we should take the win.”
As for himself, X-Pac says he’s grateful to be included — and can’t wait to get the gang back together!
Chyna — real name Joan Laurer — passed away in 2016. She was only 46.
Mark Geragos reportedly is close to becoming Jussie Smollett‘s new criminal defense lawyer, and all signs were pointing to it Monday night.
Geragos appeared on CNN and made a ferocious case supporting Jussie and throwing major shade on the Chicago Police Department. Geragos suggested the leaks coming from the police were a thinly veiled attempt to skewer the actor.
We realized what was up the second Geragos appeared on Anderson Cooper‘s show and made repeated contacts with Geragos trying to find out if he was representing him — it was the only way to read his comments. Geragos did not get back to us.
There are now reports he is close to representing the actor who is now in the crosshairs of the police department.
TMZ broke the story, a grand jury is about to convene to hear evidence as to whether Smollett should be indicted on the felony charge of filing a false police report.
Clemson superstar QB Trevor Lawrence says he’s sorry for shoving a fellow student to the ground during a heated intramural hoops game … admitting it was “probably unnecessary.”
Of course, 19-year-old Lawrence — 6’6″, 215 pounds — just wrapped an unreal season, leading Clemson football to another national title. But, he found trouble on the basketball court this week when he got into an altercation with a fellow student who was trying to set a screen.
Dodgers legend Don Newcombe — one of the most important black athletes in MLB history — died Tuesday morning after battling an undisclosed “lengthy illness,” the Dodgers confirmed. He was 92.
Newcombe started off as a star pitcher in the Negro Leagues — before making his debut with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1949.
Once in the Big Leagues, Don was a STUD — racking up 17 wins while leading MLB in shutouts. He also pitched 32 consecutive scoreless innings. He also won Rookie of the Year.
Along with Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella and Larry Doby, Newcombe was among the first 4 black players to make the All-Star game. He was named an All Star 3 more times during his career.
“Don Newcombe’s presence and life established him as a role model for major leaguers across the country,” Dodgers president Stan Kasten said in a statement.
“He was a constant presence at Dodger Stadium and players always gravitated to him for his endless advice and leadership. The Dodgers mean everything to him and we are all fortunate he was part of our lives.”
The Dodgers consider him one of the greatest pitchers in team history — and for good reason.
He won the National League MVP and Cy Young in 1956 … the same year he led the league in wins. He also led MLB in strikeouts in 1951.
Newcombe took a hiatus from pro baseball in 1952 and 1953 to serve in the Korean War.
In 2013, he talked about his service to USA Today saying, “I served my country. I was going to fight for my country and my flag if I was asked. I didn’t dodge bullets, but I’m proud of my contribution.”
Back in 2010, Barack Obama credited Newcombe — along with Jackie Robinson — with helping to change America for the better.
“I would not be here if it were not for Jackie and it were not for Don Newcombe,” Obama said.
