One Tree Hill Actors: We Stand with Our Co-Stars!

One Tree Hill is back in the news these days…

… for all the wrong reasons.

Earlier this week, all the women who starred on this former CW hit came out and penned an open letter that accused creator Mark Schwahn of sexual harassment.

It detailed how uncomfortable he made everyone feel on set via inappropriate touching and various comments and even in showing off nude pictures of the women with whom he was sleeping.

We recap this ugly story below, while also featuring the supporting statements made by James Lafferty and other male co-stars on the series:

1. The History Behind One Tree Hill

The history behind one tree hill
One Tree Hill ran for nine seasons and wrapped up in April of 2012. It’s one of the most beloved shows in CW history.

2. The Complaint:

Mark schwahn
In a letter signed by 17 actresses and former One Tree Hill co-workers, the women write of Schwahn: “Many of us were, to varying degrees, manipulated psychologically and emotionally. More than one of us is still in treatment for post-traumatic stress. Many of us were put in uncomfortable positions and had to swiftly learn to fight back, sometimes physically, because it was made clear to us that the supervisors in the room were not the protectors they were supposed to be.”

3. Moreover:

The letter also alleges that Schwahn spoke to women on set in ways that were “deeply upsetting, to traumatizing, to downright illegal,” and alleged that they were put in positions that made them feel “physically unsafe.”

4. It Was Signed By:

It was signed by
Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz, Danneel Harris, Michaela McManus, Kate Voegele, Daphne Zuniga, India de Beaufort, Bevin Prince, Jana Kramer, Shantel Van Santen, Allison Munn; along with “Brave Crew And All the rest of the Women We Worked With Who Are Finding Their Voices as We Speak.”

5. What the Men are Saying

“Much love to our brother bear #LeeNorris, who has always been supportive. He’s one of the good ones too. #BurnItDownSis,” wrote Sophia Bush in response to this note.

Donal Logue: Actor’s Missing Daughter Returns Home!

Today, we thankfully have a happy ending to a story that could have easily turned tragic …

Actor Donal Logue’s missing daughter is finally back home!

It’s been nearly two weeks since 16-year-old Jade Logue was declared missing, and Donal has been doing everything in his power to get her back.

The day after Jade went missing, he tweeted a description of her and what she was wearing, and that she’d last been seen at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

“Jade, we miss you and love you,” he pleaded. “Please come home. If you can see this, just know I love you and miss you dearly.”

And from there, we all got seriously invested.

In a heartfelt note he shared on Facebook last weekend, he explained that “There’s never been a more loving, innocent, cuddly child than Jade.”

“I love her and who she is and her tribe is strong,” but he added that “there are some predators who swim among their ranks knowing they’re dealing with sweet, trusting souls.”

“We want you home, Jade,” he wrote. “Whoever knows where she is, whoever may be with her — clearly this thing has become big and crazy.”

“The net has been flung far and wide and luckily, I have dogged teams from the NYPD, FBI, and others involved.”

He urged that whoever may have her or know where she is to “just drop her off,” or to get her in touch with either himself or her mother, Kasey, and “we’ll take her back, with hugs and no questions asked.”

Donal specified that Jade was missing, that she didn’t run away, and just on Friday, he made another request for her to come home.

“Jade, c’mon home, you sweet, beautiful soul,” he tweeted. “We love and miss you dearly.”

But yesterday, his rep made the statement that “Jade is now safely back home with her family.”

“Donal is incredibly thankful for everyone’s support, and especially to the NYPD, FBI and Team Adam NCMEC for her safe return.”

Donal himself tweeted “Thank you ALL for the love and support. We are good. Kasey and I wish to thank the NYPD, FBI, @MissingKids and countless others.”

So what happened?!

Well, there aren’t many details about the story right now, and we don’t imagine the Logue family will be eager to share everything, at least not anytime soon.

They’re more likely focused on Jade now.

All we know is that she was found at a friend’s home in North Carolina, and that police say she was found “safe and sound.”

And thank goodness for that.

21 Actors Who Should Never Shave. Like, EVER.

The following actors should always be involved in hairy situations.

When it comes to their faces, that is.

Because while some men look disheveled and unprofessional while rocking a beard and/or a mustache, these men manage to look more distinguished and dapper.

Don't you agree? (Yes, it does help that they are exceptional human specimens to begin with, we acknowledge this.)

1. Bradley Cooper

Bradley cooper
Unlike many men, Bradley Cooper looks more put together and somehow better groomed when he does have a beard and mustache.

2. Gerard Butler

Gerard butler
That first guy? We’re not scared of him at all. That secod guy? Yikes! He could lead a small army into battle… and win!

3. Kit Harington

Kit harington
We would not follow a shaven Jon Snow into battle. But we’d die on The Wall if Kit Harington sported a beard and then asked us to.

4. Joe Manganiello

Joe manganiello
The dude on the left is sweet and innocent. The guy on the right will bend you over the bed and… nevermind.

5. Ryan Gosling

Ryan gosling
Ryan Gosling adds a hint of maturity and sexuality when he grows out his facial hair, wouldn’t you say?

6. Johnny Depp

Johnny depp
Really, Depp simply looks best as Captain Jack Sparrow. But he has a beard!

Val Kilmer: Actor’s Gaunt Appearance Sparks Cancer Rumors

Back in February of 2015, several media outlets reported that Val Kilmer was on his deathbed.

The actor was reportedly suffering from throat cancer, and several insiders insisted  that his condition had been exacerbated by his Christian Scientist beliefs, which prevented him from undergoing necessary medical procedures.

Clearly, either Kilmer’s condition was exaggerated or he made a miraculous recovery, because two years later, the beloved screen icon is still standing – but some continue to maintain that he’s on his last legs.

Kilmer appeared at an event in Los Angeles last week to promote his one-man show Citizen Twain, which has reportedly been put on indefinite hiatus due to the actor’s health issues.

Kilmer canceled a tour of the show back in November and has yet to reschedule.

The event on February 9 marked his first public appearance in several weeks.

Sadly, those in attendance say the actor appeared pale and gaunt, and was unable to stand while addressing the audience (as prior speakers had) and seemed to run out of breath while speaking.

“He performs as the ghost of Mark Twain in the show, but even as a dead man he looked ten times better than he does now,” one attendee told Radar Online.

The witness added:

“The difference between Val three years ago and him on stage now is both shocking and heartbreaking.”

“He could barely stand, he had to sit down to talk,” said another audience member.

“He was gasping for breath and he’s lost about half his body weight. His face has such deep lines on it and he appears so fragile. It is so sad to see such a huge talent so humbled.”

Kilmer’s sallow appearance and long disappearances from the spotlight have led to numerous rumors about his declining health.

Back in November, the actor’s longtime friend Michael Douglas confirmed that Kilmer has cancer.

Kilmer issued a statement saying that he is fond of Douglas, but that Douglas is telling tales out of school:

“Whatever led Michael Douglas to speculate about my health, he’s a loving and devoted friend to a privileged group of talented people,” Kilmer said.

“I’m sure he meant no harm.”

The elegiac tone of Citizen Twain has led some fans to speculate that it’s meant to serve as Kilmer’s swan song:

“The first half of the show is very funny, but the second half is a lot more reflective,” says one audience member.

“It’s very philosophical in places and deals with some big questions.”

Our thoughts go out to Kilmer and his family.

Paul Walker: Friends & Co-Stars Pay Tribute on 3rd Anniversary of Actor’s Death

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been three years since Paul Walker was killed in a car accident on his way home from a charity event.

Few actors have been as beloved by their co-stars as Walker, and Fast and Furious franchise star has been the subject of countless online tributes in the years since his untimely passing.

Today, Vin Diesel paid tribute to Walker along with several other Furious co-stars who continue to mourn a man that many of them thought of as family.

Diesel changed his Facebook background photo to the above photo of himself and Walker.

Not surprisingly, he wasn’t the only famous name to mark this sad milestone on social media.

Tyrese Gibson posted the following video of himself and Walker…

… along with a moving caption:

“This week is always rough for those of us who really knew him personally. Fourteen years of laughter, hugs and love — literally one of the nicest people on HUMAN FEET!!!!” Gibson wrote.

“Nov 30th, we lost an angel! Paul treated everyone with the upmost respect and went out of his way to make everyone feel like they mattered…… I love and I miss you dearly.”

Gibson went on to request prayers for Walker’s family, writing:

“We simply ask of you prayer warriors around the world pray for his daughter our niece, Meadow Walker, and his dear brothers, Cody and Caleb, and parents and his besty named Roland and Brandon, who were literally with him every day!!!!!!” he continued.

“May God rest your soul we hope we make you proud everyday!!!!! RIH ( rest in heaven )….. P-Dubber!!!!”

Actress Jordana Brewster, who played Walker’s love interest in the franchise posted a photo of the two of them together on Twitter.

She captioned the image:

“I miss you and I love you every single day #paulwalker”

Ludacris, who also starred in Fast and Furious films shared a photo of Walker, along with a caption reading:

“Gone but never forgotten.”

Walker’s family has also been vocal in paying tribute to the beloved son, father and brother:

“We had a lot of fun growing up,”his brother Caleb recently told ET.

“Paul was four years older than me, so he was the big brother, the cool big brother everyone knew. I just wanted to be like him.”
