Meghan Markle: We’ll Do ANYTHING to Make My Dad Shut Up!

Even though Thomas Markle promises to stop talking already, it doesn’t look like Duchess Meghan’s family’s reign of terror is going to end any time soon.

Between her dad and two of her half-siblings, the Palace is at a loss for what to do. This isn’t the good ol’ days when they could just throw people in the dungeons, folks.

The Palace is having to rethink its long-standing policies to address Prince Harry’s new in-laws.

A source spoke with Entertainment Tonight about Meghan Markle’s family and how she and Kensington Palace intend to deal with this ongoing problem.

Speaking of Meghan and her father, an insider reveals: “She has gone through periods of difficulty with her father in the past.”

That’s pretty normal for most families.

“But,” the source makes sure to clarify. “She does love him.”

Of course, in this situation, loving the person who is constantly blabbing to any camera he sees just makes it more painful.

“That’s what’s been so difficult about this,” the insider explains.

“The Palace,” the source says. “Normally takes a firm policy of not commenting on personal matters.”

The royal family is always going to be the center of rumors and speculation and conspiracy theories.

The insider reveals that Kensington Palace “is now considering a more aggressive strategy to deal with the situation.”

Jokes about the Queen hiring assassins aside, this is a big deal.

The source explains that the Palace is considering how to deal “with both her father and her sister.”

“No one wants to see this continue,” the insider shares.

For anyone, having family members constantly embarrassing and badmouthing them on a global stage is an absolute horror.

However, the source does mention that the Palace is “less concerned” when it comes to Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha.

They’re less worried, the insider explains, “because she has never had a real relationship with Meghan.”

Meghan was close with her idiot dad. Samantha, it seems, is just delighting in being cruel on any show that will give her airtime.

Entertainment Tonight had previously heard about how strained things have become between Meghan and Daddy Dearest.

“She has not spoken to her father in more than 10 weeks since her wedding,” an insider revealed.

That is understandable. Especially since her father, by his own admission, hung up on Prince Harry a short time after his photo scandal came to light.

Meghan, the source shared, “is still hurt by her father, who has both staged the photos and continues to give paid interviews.”

He claims that the interview that he gave on Sunday will be his last. We’ll see.

“The Palace is at a loss of what to do and is re-evaluating options,” the insider stated.

The Palace is condiering a lot of things, the source said, “including a more aggressive strategy to stem the embarrassment caused by Meghan’s dad, half-sister, and half-brother.”

What we’re guessing is that the Palace will either give official statements to clear the air and discredit Meghan’s relatives and some of their nastier claims.

Or they may use their considerable resources to counter Harry’s in-laws in a less direct manner, perhaps with a media campaign of their own.

It’s even conceivable that they could effectively bribe Meghan’s family into silence, though that would set a very alarming precedent.

Scott Disick: If You Can’t Buy REAL Diamonds, Don’t Buy Anything!

it sounds like Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are in love. It also sounds like, if Scott decides to put a ring on it, he’ll be presenting Sofia with old-fashioned diamonds.

We say this because Scott just posted a seemingly random rant about diamonds, and which diamonds he considers to be “valid” or not.

Is he a spokesperson for the diamond industry … or has he been going ring-shopping recently?

In a post that was neither tagged as an ad nor labored as any sort of “partnership,” Scott wirtes:

“Diamonds are THE LORD’s best friend!!!!!”

We don’t know how else we would have expected for him to start this post.

“I’ve stacked up a pretty nice collection here.”

We’re sure that Scott owns all sorts of diamond jewelry — and that he has bought even more.

“But one thing is for sure I would never buy anything but real diamonds.”

By “real,” he refers to diamonds that formed over millions of years in the ground, rather than those created with science.

“There are companies out there now talking about cultured or cultivated or above ground diamonds. AYFKM?”

By “AYFKM,” he means are you f–king kidding me. He’s, uh, very indignant about his dense chunks of carbon.

Scott Disick LOVES diamonds

Scott goes on to ridicule the idea of buying diamonds that weren’t extracted from under piles of dirt.

“Seriously, What person in their right mind would buy ANYTHING BUT THE REAL THING?”

Someone who isn’t rich. Or someone who understand what diamonds are. Or someone who is unwilling to support the diamond industry for political reasons.

“I think it’s an ass-backward move if you do because they HAVE ZERO VALUE, and how could you walk around wearing something FAKE?”

Hilarious to see someone talking about diamonds and value with no trace of irony.

“Trust me on this one, if you are buying diamonds for yourself or someone else make sure that they were not grown in a FACTORY or anything like that.”

Well, if there’s one person we trust to give us advice, it’s Scott Disick. His choices are always good ones, right?

“Make sure they are the real deal. #GetReal”

So, diamonds are basically the same as coal. They’re carbon, formed from mostly prehistoric plant debris. Millions of years of heat and pressure created these diamonds.

Diamonds are not especially rare. They are expensive because the diamond industry buys them en masse and then sits on a stockpile in order to create an artificial scarcity in the market.

In real life, diamonds are mostly just valuable for industrial purposes.

Artificial diamonds can be created in a laboratory, and much cheaper, are definitely still diamonds, and — most importantly for many people — they are not “blood diamonds.”

The term “blood diamond” or “conflict diamond” applies to diamonds mined in war zones, particularly in Africa, and the sale of these diamonds is used to fund those conflicts.

Many consider the diamond industry to be unethical and many, particularly Millennials, show less interest in diamonds than previous generations did.

Scott Disick is in that place in life where he’s rich enough to be really, truly rich … but not so rich that he’s above playing spokesperson on Instagram for the right price.

We’re not claiming that he was paid or compensated in this particular post … though many assume that he was.

It is entirely possible that Scott was asked to make that post by the diamond industry, even though he did not indicate that it was an ad and some question if he is in violation of FCC regulations.

Some fans put Scott on blast for ridiculing people who aren’t millionaires. He posted that photo from a private jet.

“A lot of us regular people might not have the means to buy real.”

Another sounded ready to pull out the guillotine.

“Another day and another celebrity showing how out of touch they are with the world. I think we normal people need to take back what the 1% have hoarded away from us for so long.”

But maybe — hear us out — Scott just has diamonds on his mind.

Because things seem to be getting increasingly serious with teenage girlfriend Sofia Richie.

Though he never married Kourtney, perhaps he is gearing up to propose to Sofia — who many say is clearly in love with him.

It is rumored that Scott wants to get Sofia pregnant, and while that has yet to be confirmed, their relationship seems very close.

It’s not impossible to imagine that he is thinking of dropping ot one knee and proposing to her.

if he does, we’re guessing that he’s going to opt for a “real” diamond.

Roseanne Barr Attacks Co-Star, Is So Not Sorry for Anything

In case it wasn’t obvious based on her Nazi costumes, racist insults and affection for Donald Trump, it ought to be obvious now:

Roseanne Barr is a terrible human being.

Because she said that former Barack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett was what would happen if the “Muslim brotherhood [and] planet of the apes had a baby?”

Well, yes.

But also because Barr issued the phoniest apology of all-time shortly after writing this Tweet — and then issued an endless array of even phonier statements on social media early Wednesday morning.

In a barrage of Tweets that started out on the right note (“I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people, and wonderful writers and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet.”), Barr ended up quoting a significant number of her defenders.

She went from acknowledging that ABC was right to cancel her sitcom…

… to saying ABC was a hypocrite for not punishing Joy Behar for referring to Christians as mentally ill.

Oh, and the comedian also claimed she wrote that “joke” about Jarrett because had been taking Ambien.

Now, Barr has continued her assault against anyone who thinks she’s racist by attacking someone with whom she worked closely on Roseanne.

After ABC announced it was pulling the plug on Season 11, Michael Fishman – who portrayed Barr’s son D.J. during the show’s original run and its 2018 reboot – Tweeted that he was “devastated” by the show getting canceled.

He also denounced his TV mom’s remarks via a lengthy and heartfelt message.

“Our cast, crew, writers, and production staff strived for inclusiveness, with numerous storylines designed to reflect inclusiveness,” Fishman wrote. “The words of one person do not exemplify the thinking of all involved.”

He continued:

I condemn these statements vehemently. They are reprehensible and intolerable, contradicting my beliefs and outlook on life and society. I have always lived and taught my children to be inclusive.

I believe our show strived to embrace different backgrounds and opinions, through open dialogue.

fisherman tweet

Roseanne read this thoughtful response to the situation and gave Fishman credit for having such a mature and well-reasoned take on the scandal

Just kidding.

She totally took him to task for it.

“I created the platform for that inclusivity and you know it. You throw me under the bus. nice!” replied Barr.

These are totally the words of someone who recognizes she made an inappropriate comment and is aware that she’s very much in the wrong here, huh?

roseanne attack

Elsewhere, Sara Gilbert, who played Roseanne’s daughter Darlene, also reacted on Twitter, saying that Barr’s comments were “abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show.”

She added: “I am disappointed with her actions to say the least.”

“Wow! unreal,” Roseanne wrote in response to this stance.

At one point today, Barr even said she “feels bad” for President Trump because he is on the receiving end of hatred everyday.

It’s almost like he and Roseanne deserve it.

Finally, Sanofi, the pharmaceutical company behind Ambien, has also spoken out.

It had something to say after Roseanne Tweeted the following:

“Guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible.

“I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but…don’t defend it please.”

Wrote the makers of the sleeping pill to which Roseanne is referring to here:

People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world.

While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.

ambien tweet

And so it has come to this: Roseanne Barr is so awful, she has turned a pharmaceutical company into the good guy.

That’s impressive work right there.
