Literally just yesterday, we talked about how Jennelle Evans’ ex Kieffer Delp was arrested for running a meth lab.
Today, we’re once again talking about a man who runs in Teen Mom circles … and, in the same breath, we’re talking about meth. And getting arrested.
This time, it’s a friend of Adam Lind’s. In fact, the two are such good buddies that this guy appeared on Teen Mom 2.
Adam Lind testing positive for methamphetamines right before a scheduled visit with the child that he and Chelsea Houska share hasn’t done anything to clear his reputation of being a bit of a meth head.
At the very least, the guy’s a mess. And based upon the charges and allegations against him, he’s a menace.
Everyone understands why Chelsea Houska moved to strip Lind of his visitation rights. When it comes to children, a child’s safety must always trump parental wishes.
Even if Adam totally manages to get clean and, you know, non-violent, he still might not be a safe person for Aubree to be around.
Because of the company that he keeps.
Justin Anderson has appeared on Teen Mom 2 more than once, thanks to his friendship with Chelsea Houska’s baby daddy, Adam Lind.
And now, Justin Anderson has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest took place on Wednesday, January 10th. At the time, Anderson was already on parole for different drug charges.
A spokesperson for the Minnehaha County Jail told RadarOnline:
“Anderson remains in prison with no bond.”
Well, yeah. Drug possession isn’t the worst thing in the world, but if you’re on parole for drugs and you still can’t resist meth … that’s worrisome. Also, not a great idea, since your parole can be revoked at any time.
“His parole officer put a hold on him for breaking his parole.”
“It is the parole officer’s decision on when he’ll be released.”
Justin Anderson was caught by, basically, having bad luck. And perhaps for having some terrible associations.
(And we don’t just mean Adam Lind)
See, police were serving a search warrant on a suspect in a double homicide.
And by “serving a search warrant,” we mean that SWAT was involved. We don’t know if they actually knocked before raiding the place.
They did not find the suspected killer. They did find Justin Anderson and, allegedly, Anderson’s meth.
Aside from the fact that this comes right on the heels of Jenelle Evans’ ex getting arrested for running a meth lab …
(If there’s such a thing as bad press for Teen Mom, this surely would be it, right?)
… What, you might ask, does this have to do with Adam Lind?
It’s simple. Even if Adam Lind can drop drugs and steroids and drinking and violence altogether, if he keeps associating with people like Justin Anderson, it’s very understandable for Chelsea Houska (and anyone worried about the safety of children) to have concerns about little Aubree’s well-being.
Does Adam want to be a parent, or do you want to be a ‘roided out meth head with meth head buddies?
This should be an easy choice.
I see you wiff Kieffah. And crystal meth.
Teen Mom 2 star and former Jenelle Evans flame Kieffer Delp was just arrested for allegedly running a meth lab, which is serious stuff.
Even by standards of Jenelle’s exes.
According to TMZ, Kieffer was arrested after police outside Pittsburgh uncovered a lab they believed was illegally manufacturing methamphetamine.
The cops were reportedly dispatched to an apartment building late Wednesday afternoon, where they made the shocking discovery.
Authorities evacuated the building during the arrest because of a strong, lingering odor inside … typical of such meth labs.
Local officials say they received information about a working meth lab and performed a weeks-long investigation in McKees Rocks, Pa.
Personnel from the Allegheny County Housing Authority and state police converged on the apartment around 4:15 p.m.
The state police’s Clandestine Lab Response Team removed the chemicals and laboratory materials from the scene.
McKees Rocks Police Chief Richard Deliman said Thursday:
“Obviously with all these chemicals together and during the process of making this, it could ultimately explode.”
That, he told the media after the fact, is “why we evacuated the building while the product was being removed.”
The lab was reportedly inside Delp’s apartment, which had previously been the source of multiple complaints by other residents.
Delp faces felony charges related to the manufacturing and distribution of methamphetamines and the improper disposal of chemicals.
He was unable to post a $ 50,000 bail, and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail pending a preliminary hearing January 23.
Kieffer never saw Breaking Bad apparently.
Sure, not everyone has access to a dry cleaning or pest removal front company to mask to smell, but why do you think they used the RV?!
SMH, Kieffah. SMH bruh.
Delp, as the Teen Mom faithful know all too well, is a career drug user with a long rap sheet that rivals his famous ex Jenelle’s.
That’s saying something.
In addition to drug-related offenses, he was also once arrested for punching a girl and her male friend, according to multiple reports.
Jenelle first met Kieffer in 2010, back in simpler times when she was best known for ditching her first-born son Jace to party.
(See above for some of their greatest “hits” as a couple … we used quotation marks because things did tend to get physical.)
They had a beautiful time together, stealing Barbara’s credit cards for trips to New Jersey and smoking so, so much weed.
Just so much weed.
“Teen Mom” star Kieffer Delp may be back to his old ways of running afoul with the law … cops arrested him for allegedly operating a meth lab. Kieffer — one of Jenelle Evans’ earliest boyfriends on the show — was arrested after…
Well, this is yet another blow to to already controversial series, 13 Reasons Why.
One of the show’s actors has been arrested for, of all things, stealing from the elderly. And the way that he went about it is upsetting, to say the least.
You know what else is screwed up? The show hasn’t even been around for a year, and he’s not even the first actor to get into trouble with the law.
Bryan Box isn’t one of the biggest names in 13 Reasons Why.
He plays a high school student named Jamie Garrison.
In an interview, Bryan revealed that he got the role on the hit series by discovering that it was filming nearby — via Facebook — and then looking into being cast as a background character.
He’s not quite an extra — his character has a name and performs actual actions — but it’s a minor role. Even so, that’s a huge break for a 23-year-old, right?
Which is what makes this so sad, disappointing, and difficult to understand.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Bryan Box was arrested on suspicion of stealing from and burglarizing elderly people in San Francisco.
Per the report, he was arrested just before New Year’s and was charged with nine felony counts of burglary, possession of stolen property, and theft by a caretaker of an elder.
See, he apparently worked as a caretaker in multiple Marin County residencies before he got cast on 13 Reasons Why.
Are you ready for this to get sadder? The Marin Independent Journal reports that his alleged crimes took place between September 22nd and November 7th.
According to their write-up, Box visited the elderly people for whom he’d acted as caretaker in the past and offered them kind words or even small gifts, spoke of his new career, and … then allegedly stole from them.
He’s linked to six burglaries and accused of trying to sell some of the ill-gotten gains, which include but are not limited to:
Jewelry, medication, a laptop, checks, and a social security card.
Just one of his alleged burglaries reportedly involved losses of about $ 50,000.
That is … heartbreaking.
Sad that he would (allegedly) do such a thing. And sad that the elderly people who must have been glad to see him must have felt so betrayed.
It’s unclear if Bryan Box will be in the second season of 13 Reasons Why, but we’d point out that Season 2 began filming back in June, though they took a break from filming in October because, you know, California was on fire a whole lot.
Making things more awkward, Box isn’t even the first member of the cast of this nascent series to be accused of serious wrongdoing.
Uriah Shelton is accused of physical assault against a former friend-with-benefits, of having kicked her so hard in the midsection that she had bruising on her internal organs.
All of that is almost a footnote beside the largest controversy: the show itself.
Many ask if 13 Reasons Why glorifies suicide or at least tells a story of suicide in such a way that at-risk viewers, particularly those with suicidal depression, find it harder to resist their own self-destructive urges.
The father of a suicide victim has slammed 13 Reasons Why and singled out executive producer Selena Gomez, accusing them of being reckless and “sick” by creating their show.
Even if 13 Reasons Why didn’t follow sensible guidelines that would make it safe for those who are plagued by suicidal urges, we don’t think that there was anything malicious or “sick” about creating the series.
Just like how someone who uses peanuts in their recipe just wants to create the right taste for their dish. It’s just that, you know, sometimes people are deathly allergic to peanuts. And they die.
But we can absolutely understand how a grief-stricken father who found his teenage daughter hanging in her bedroom and ultimately lost her at the hospital could miss that nuance.
At this point, though, we have to ask — with two cast members accused of serious misdeeds in a year’s time, how may more of these young actors are going to turn out to be so much worse than we’d imagined?
Let us make clear right off the bat that there’s nothing funny about operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
That said, the details of Bam Margera’s DUI arrest are mildly amusing.
According to TMZ, Margera was taken into custody early Sunday morning by some California Highway patrol officers who had already stopped another vehicle.
For reasons that defy logic, Bam slowed down to chat with the cops, despite the fact that he had been drinking.
The officers say they detected an unmistakable odor of alcohol, and they proceeded to pull Margera over after he drove away from the scene.
The 38-year-old former MTV star failed a field sobriety test and was arrested on the scene.
We can only hope that as they slapped the cuffs on him, Margera turned to a non-existent camera and exclaimed, “I’m Bam Margera, and this is poor life decisions!”
Details of the arrest are scarce, but TMZ reports that Margera’s bail was set at $ 15,000, which is about $ 10,000 more than is customary.
We joked about the circumstances of the incident, but we’d like to reiterate there’s really nothing funny about Margera’s situation.
Back in 2016, Margera reportedly got sober following a shocking appearance on VH1’s Family Therapy, during which he revealed that alcohol had nearly claimed his life on multiple occasions.
Just weeks after the show’s final episode aired, however, it was revealed that Margera was back to boozing, much to the chagrin of his deeply concerned loved ones.
Bam claimed to be sober in a recent interview, but it now looks as though he’s stuck in a cycle of getting clean and falling off the wagon shortly thereafter.
Ironically, Margera has stated that his grief over the loss of Dunn is what drove him to increasingly heavier drinking in recent years.
As a first offender, it’s unlikely that Margera will face jail time, but the news of his arrest is unsettling for reasons that go well beyond the possible legal ramifications.
We’ll have further details on this story as more information becomes available.
In the meantime, here’s hoping Margera is able to finally get the help he seems to so desperately need.
