Chris Brown Arrested for Felony Battery (See His Mug Shot!)

Chris Brown put on a concert at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday night.

The singer was then put in handcuffs.

Maybe not literally, but the violent artist was taken into custody by police as soon as he walked off the stage yesterday evening.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office., Brown was arrested on an outstanding out-of-county warrant from last year.

Per local station WPTV, the alleged woman beater was booked on a felony battery charge  from the Hilllsborough County Sheriff’s Office, stemming from an incident last spring.

This incident centered on Brown reportedly punching a photographer during a paid club appearance when he was serving as the establishment’s DJ.

That does sound like something he would do, doesn’t  it?

Brown was released last night on $ 2,000 bail and wasted little time commenting on the arrest like the jackass that he is.

“What’s NEW????? Show tomorrow!!!!,” he wrote, along with a heart emoji.

Chris Brown. Always the victim, right?

The R&B artist’s next tour date is actually scheduled for July 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

He’s been performing the road since early last month and has been keeping a fairly low profile for several weeks now, barely abusing a single woman during this time.

We last heard from him when Brown celebrated his daughter Royalty’s fourth birthday with baby mama Nia Guzman.

Over the years, of course, Brown has had a multitude of run-ins with the law, starting with physical assault charges from when he punched Rihanna in the face in 2009.

Brown was later charged with felony assault and making criminal threats for this pummeling; he was sentenced to five years of probation and community service.

In 2013, Brown’s probation was revoked after he was involved in an alleged hit-and-run in Los Angeles.

The charges were later dropped, but he was given 1,000 additional hours of community service.

Still, no jail time. Because he can sing and dance really well!

In 2016, Brown was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a nine-hour standoff of sorts at his California mansion.

A beauty queen claimed the singer brandished a weapon at her inside his home during this incident — and Brown responded by referring to the police as “idiots” who were part of a “gang.”

He’s a real pearl of a human being.

In 2017, a judge granted ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran a restraining order against the singer for the next five years.

She said in court that Brown texted her violent threats and assaulted her.

“Make sure ya’ll don’t be listening to all this bullsh-t, man,” Brown said in response last year, adding:

“What all them other people on the outside doing, let them do what they doing. I don’t know what the f-ck they talking about.”

They’re talking about you being an awful person, Chris.

At least that’s what we hope everyone keeps talking about.

Man Arrested After Brandishing Gun, Shouting “Womp Womp” at Immigration Protesters

Saturday saw nationwide protests over Donald Trump's family separation policies — you know, the ones that Melania doesn't really care about.

One of these protests was marred by counter-protesters who support the child internment camps.

When a counter-protester who had been shouting "womp womp" brandished a gun, however, things got downright scary.

The Keep Families United protest in Huntsville, Alabama was admittedly not the nation's largest.

It took place at a gazebo in a park. It comprised of only 100 or so protesters.

Episcopal priest Kerry Holder-Joffrion was a speaker at the protest, where she delivered a prayer.

"Holy and ever-loving God …" she said, only for her words to be punctuated and interrupted by 34-year-old Shane Ryan Sealy.

Sealy, a counter-protester, would answer her words with "womp womp!"

"Womp womp" is, in a vacuum, simply a phrase to say when mocking someone else's misfortune.

Famously, it was used in recent weeks by Trump surrogate Corey Lewandowski, who used the phrase to mock the story of a 10-year-old girl with Down Syndrome being separated from her family.

It seems clear that, as Sealy chanted that phrase, he was mocking the suffering of thousands of innocent children in Trump's internment camps.

He was also carrying a sign that read "ICE ICE Baby," the title of a Vanilla Ice song (the one with the conspicuously similar music to "Under Pressure").

The sign was clearly a reference to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, the organization founded in 2003 that has recently become so controversial that some of its own members wanted it disbanded.

Seaily's thoughts on human rights may be horrifying, but they're not cause for arrest.

Brandishing a gun, however, was another matter.

According to police, Sealy is accused of having picked a fight with one of the Keep Families United protesters and of then pushing the protester.

Police say that, when a protester responded by pushing him back, Sealy produced a pistol from out of his waistband.

"Gun, gun, gun, gun!" someone in the audience cried out in alarm.

Rally organizer Ava Caldwell described her reaction: "I got down on my face on the other side of the gazebo right here and just cried, I was so in shock."

That sounds absolutely terrifying. Any public gathering, but especially a political one that aims to oppose Trump's policies, could be a potential target for a shooting.

Fortunately, no one was shot, but it's good to see that the crowd responded by making themselves more difficult to target.

Sealy left, then, pursued by one of the protesters. Sealy did not make it very far.

First one, and then two police cruisers pulled up to prevent his escape.

He was arrested on charges of possessing a firearm within 1,000 feet of a protest.

At the time of his booking, he faced misdemeanor charges of menacing and reckless endangerment

His actions prompted some very real fear in a lot of people, with a young girl who had been scheduled to speak too frightened to go on.

As you exercise your First Amendment Rights, don't forget to stay safe, folks.

Jen Harley Arrested for… Dragging Ronnie Ortiz-Magro with a Car

Welp. We were wrong.

It turns out things actually can get uglier between Jersey Shore star Ronnie Magro-Ortiz and his occasional girlfriend/permanent baby mama, Jen Harley.

A LOT uglier, in fact.

Sources within the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have confirmed to Us Weekly that Harley was arrested on Sunday night and charged with beating Ronnie up, prior to dragging him around with her car.

That’s all the information both Us Weekly and E! News have on the matter, aside from Harley’s charge of domestic battery.

We also know that she has been released on $ 3,000 bail and that a hearing regarding this case has been set for Tuesday morning.

Trust us: We really wish we had more to report at the moment.

Because… what?!? Jen dragged Ronnie around with her car?!?

This development is both shocking and completely expected at the same time, considering the history between the reality star and his estranged lover.

Harley and Ronnie got together last summer and welcomed a daughter named Ariana Sky into the world on April 2.

But it’s all been way downhill from there.

Just a few weeks after they became parents, Jen and Ronnie got into one of the more vicious Internet fights you’ll ever see.

We hate to keep bringing this point up, but it seems worth repeating over and over and over again:

There’s a baby girl at the center of all this drama, you guys!

Shape the eff up and do it now.

They went back and forth on Instagram with cheating allegations, as Ronnie slammed Jen as a “cum dumpster” and Harley referred to Ronnie as a “coke head” and terrible father.

Apologies were eventually offered on both sides, and the two even got together briefly at one point.

“They’re trying to work things out for [their child’s] sake. They’re giving it a shot,” a source told E! News shortly after the viral blowout, adding at the time:

“His daughter is his biggest priority so he just wants to keep things as calm and civil with Jen for the baby’s sake.

“They both really regret how ugly and public their split was so they’re doing everything they can to keep things private right now.”

That was then, in mid-May.

But now we have reports that Harley assaulted Ronnie, which follows previous reports that detailed how she also attacked him while he was filming Season 2 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Call us crazy, but we sort of feel like these kids should not be together.

“I want to apologize to my family, friends and fans,” the MTV personality said in a statement to Us Weekly on April 30, saying back then:

“This is a private matter that should have never been made public. I remain focused on my daughter and she is my No. 1 priority.”

That’s nice to hear.

We just hope Ronnie continue to put this into practice.

And we hope Harley undergoes some anger management counseling or something because… holy violence!

Heather Locklear Arrested for Assaulting Police Officer

We often try to keep things light here at The Hollywood Gossip.

But we don’t even have a joke to make about the following story.

We have no snarky comments at all.

We just sincerely hope Heather Locklear finds the professional help she so clearly needs.

The veteran actress was arrested on Sunday night after a family member called 911 from Locklear’s home because Locklear was allegedly drunk and beligerant.

According to TMZ, the former Melrose Place, Dynasty and Spin City star then punched a responding police officer who was trying to separate her from an unnamed relative.

Paramedics evnetually arrived as well — and, while being placed on a gurney, Locklear is accusing of kicking an EMT.

The incidents took place just before midnight and Locklear was prompted booked for two counts of misdemeanor battery upon an officer and emergency personnel.

Authorities confirm that the star was taken to a hospital near her residence get checked out and then was taken to jail, where she was booked.

She’s being held on $ 20,000 bail.

This would obviously be a disturbing story based on the facts listed above alone.

But the alleged attacks took place less than one week after Locklear was hospitalized after another drunken assault, this time one against her parents.

Reports at that time indicated that the actress choked her mother and hit her father.

She also threatened to find a gun and kill herself, which is why she was placed under psychiatric evaluation.

And even that was not some kind of isolated encounter/run-in with the law.

The sadly troubled actress previously pleaded not guilty to four counts of battery on an officer and one count of resisting arrest in April, following her February arrest in which she apparently told officers:

If you ever come back to my house I will shoot you.”

This arrest caused Locklear to check into a rehabilitation, with sources close to her saying that she was “spiraling out of control.”

Said former Melrose Place co-star Josie Bissett to Entertainment Tonight in the wake of last weekend’s suicide threat:

“[It’s] just sad. You know, it’s just heartbreaking. We just pray for her and hope she gets through this time.”

And Jack Wagner, who also appeared on this Fox soap opera opposite Locklear and also dated her for a number of years, added in this same interview:

“I just will stand by what I have said for a while and that is that we all have our struggles.

“We all do and some of us handle them in different ways.

“We either really work at getting well, you know, and it’s just about when you make that decision to do it…

“I love Heather and I know Josie feels the same way, so nothing but loving thoughts and prayers for her and her family and her daughter, Ava.”

We echo this sentiment.
