David Beador: I Have a Young, Hot Girlfriend Now!

Just because Shannon Beador is divorcing David and plans to take everything doesn’t mean that David’s life is over. Much to Shannon’s chagrin.

In fact, it looks like David has found a new lady love.

And these two don’t seem to care anymore who knows.

We know that David Beador more or less looks the same in every photo, but that is definitely not Shannon Beador by his side.

This woman, who RadarOnline reports is named Lesley Cook, is a 34-year-old mother of two very young children.

Lesley is a DIY blogger and a native of Orange County and has been posting about how much she loves Laguna (in between photos of her two precious children, of course).

She’s also been spotted at The Montage, which was a favored restaurant for David and Shannon during their marriage.

RadarOnline reports that multiple sources confirm that Lesley and David are indeed dating. It would appear that this relationship started some time during December.

Now, David and Lesley haven’t been posting photos of themselves locking lips, but we have more than just reports to point to these two being in a relationship.

In the captions of the photo of the two of them, which was posted on January 14th, Lesley simply wrote:

“Bumped into this guy …”

Lesley said that the photo was at 2am in Las Vegas when speaking to her aunt.

It was only when someone called David hot and Lesley “lucky” that David chimed in, insisting that he is the lucky one.

Lesley Cook and David Beador "lucky" comments

That’s not the only instance.

Honestly, we don’t know if it was an inside joke or if someone pranked David Beador by telling him that using the “#discreet” hashtag would somehow make his comments invisible to everyone but the recipient.

(He and Lesley have both used “#discrete” which is also a word but not with their intended meaning)

Because he’s used that hashtag multiple times in comments and … absolutely everyone can see them.

Lesley Cook shared on Instagram that she really wore herself out exercising, and David revealed in the captions that he had been helping her along.

Lesley Cook and David Beador comments

David also added another comment, teasing:

“Was this before or after we ‘bumped’ into one another? Looks like an amazing fun night! I don’t remember meeting your date though, strangely enough … maybe he was holding your shoes in back as you said your feet hurt.”

That’s the way that people talk when they want the whole world to know that they’re dating an attractive younger woman but promised, like, an attorney or maybe their children that they’d keep things on the down-low for a while.

There have been others photos — not showing David but showing that she’s been working out, with David implying in the comments that he was there with her.

We suppose that, since David Beador stopped loving Shannon when she got “fat,” David’s pretty focused on making sure that his new lady love is in good shape.

David was reportedly seeing multiple women pretty much as things ended with Shannon Beador, but it looks like he and Lesley have been pretty exclusive since before Christmas.

Reportedly, Shannon Beador knows and, um, isn’t super thrilled that her ex has immediately moved on with a younger woman.

This may shed some light on Shannon Beador’s desire to boot David off of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Maybe she could swallow her pride enough to film necessary conflict scenes for her divorce storyline. But imagine if Lesley becomes a Real Housewife?

No offense to Lesley, who has surely done nothing wrong, but that might be too much to bear for poor Shannon.

Shannon Beador: I Want David Beador OFF The Real Housewives of Orange County!

It’s been about two months since Shannon Beador filed for divorce on December 1st.

Since then, things have gone from somewhat amicable to no-holds-barred hostilities between Shannon and David Beador.

Now, Shannon is taking things a step further — and reportedly trying to get David fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County.

A little before Halloween, Shannon and David Beador decided to split after 17 years.

It had been reported that the two of them were basically living separate lives in the same household anyway, so the separation was not a huge surprise.

Still, the two of them had resolved to maintain some semblance of normality for the sake of their daughters.

For starters, even though David stopped loving Shannon when she became “fat,” they had resolved to keep things friendly.

They even scheduled regular weekend activities for the whole family.

But it’s really hard to go from loving your partner in life to feeling neutral-yet-friendly towards them. It is so much easier to hate them.

Things no longer appear to be amicable between the exes.

For starters, Shannon Beador apparently does not make the kind of money that David does, so she’s wanting a good deal when it comes to division of property and when it comes to alimony.

That’s pretty standard for divorce, but so are contentious debates about money.

In fact, it’s been reported that Shannon Beador accuses David of hiding money. If true, that sort of sneaky move to make it appear that he has less than he does could mean that a court might not have him pay Shannon her fair share.

And now it sounds like Shannon can’t even stand the sight of David.

RadarOnline reports that Shannon Beador wants David fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County.

She’s getting divorced, so that’s a huge thing that they’d need to cover, but Shannon believes that there’s enough unused footage of David from previous seasons.

“Shannon wants producers to use old footage to tell her story next season.”

That’s a hefty demand, especially from someone who’s reportedly negotiating more money from the show in order to spill secrets for the cameras.

“At this moment, she doesn’t want anything to do with him and filming with him would make this whole process so much harder on her.”

So this sounds less like a calculated financial sabotage and more like a lack of desire to show up to work with a man she can’t stand to be around.

“It is already really hard on her and the kids and there is just no reason to bring him on-camera if they already have what they need.”

For Shannon, this is a deep and emotional pain. They only split a few months ago and it will take a lot of time for these fresh wounds to heal.

“She is still hurting inside a lot.”

Imagine getting a divorce but showing up to work and your spouse is there and the two of you are supposed to spend a lot of time together. That’s what she’s facing.

“Shannon is in a better place than she was but she still does not want to have to face him, on-camera or in real life, because it is very hard.”

Shannon’s desire to go without David is very understandable.

And obviously, if one of them is to leave the show, we can’t imagine why it would be the Housewife. Not all of the Real Housewives are actually wives, but Shannon still makes more sense than David.

But we can’t help but wonder if this effort could come back to bite her.

Were he so inclined, couldn’t David try to sue her for “ruining his reality career” as Blac Chyna has been attempting with the Kardashians?

This is a fight over money, ultimately, and there’s no reason to believe that David will just go quietly.

Shannon Beador: David is Hiding His Wealth! I Deserve This!

After 17 years, Shannon Beador and David are divorcing.

At first, it seemed that the divorce for this Real Housewives of Orange County couple would remain amicable, for the sake of their three daughters. But that’s changed, and now Shannon aims to take everything from David. Get it, girl.

Now, a report about the couple’s court battle shows that she’s making good on her vow to go after his finances.

At the beginning of October of last year, we reported that Shannon Beador was ready to leave David. A few weeks leader, the two made their split official.

Two years after David confessed to cheating on her with a married friend, their marriage was on thin ice.

It seemed that they were basically living in the same house as neighbors, not partners. It sounded like some serious alienation.

Though David is the known cheater, it seems that problems really arose because David stopped loving Shannon when she gained weight.

That is heartbreaking, and now the couple is divorcing.

RadarOnline reports that Shannon is fighting David in court for money. Their source says:

“David is trying to be a cheapskate and Shannon isn’t having any of it.”

And at the divorce hearing scheduled for January 25th, she’s going to seek more cash.

“She demanded that he submit his current income to the judge because she believes he is grossly underestimating his net worth.”

That sounds like a very, very standard divorce.

“She knows that David has more money than he is claiming to have and isn’t going to let him get away easy.”

After the divorce announcement, the couple spent a few weeks playing nice for the sake of their children.

But even that polite facade has fallen apart.

And, from court filings, it looks like Shannon believes that David is trying to cling to every last penny that he owns.

“David has far greater access to funds to pay attorney fees, and the amount of the award for which request is made is modest relative to David’s income.”

If that’s all true, David will probably end up paying Shannon more than he’d like.

But Shannon isn’t just seeking payments for herself, folks.

“Shannon believes that David should pay for all three of their daughters’ college tuition in full.”

Well, hopefully he won’t fight Shannon on that issue.

He’s their father, and a college education is often a necessity, not a luxury.

It’s not his daughters’ “fault” that they were born, so their parents owe them the best start at life that they can provide.

And it sounds like David can provide quite a lot.

As we mentioned, this sort of financial wrangling is typical of divorce.

It’s so typical, in fact, that we’d almost be shocked if this weren’t happening.

The Beadors are rich, but not so rich that they’d each prefer to ignore a few million in order to avoid conflict. That’s for Hollywood A-listers, if anyone.

But the Beadors also aren’t so poor that their means are insignificant. So there’s a lot for them to contest.

More significantly, though, they are both dealing with complex emotions, including anger and grief. Love can turn to hate in an instant, and a lot of divorce battles have more to do with spite than anything else.

Shannon Beador: I’m Divorcing David and Taking EVERYTHING!

Star of The Real Housewives of Orange County Shannon Beador and her husband David have split, separating after 17 years together.

We’ve described what was an amicable separation, in which the couple was putting their children first. That was so admirable.

In the space of just one month, however, that arrangement has devolved into a very contentious divorce.

Shannon Beador has been having a rough go of it in recent years.

Back in 2015, David Beador cheated on Shannon. That’s not speculation — they’ve both spoken about it. David admitted to it.

(As we say every time, folks, if you don’t want to live monogamously, either don’t enter a committed relationship or enter a relationship with one or more people who don’t demand monogamy. Otherwise, you’re just being a jerk)

But what should have been the low point that led to an end to their problems wasn’t the end of their marriage’s troubles.

The Real Housewives of Orange County costar Vicki Gunvalson spread nasty rumors about Shannon Beador’s marriage.

Shannon then blamed Vicki for her weight gain, as she responded to the situation by stress-eating.

(Yes, Shannon later apologized, admitting that Vicki was not in fact some sort of witch who had cursed her to grow a softer tummy)

Other costars’ reactions to Shannon’s weight gain ranged from sympathy to fitness guru Tamra Judge’s fear that Shannon might die.

The biggest reaction to Shannon’s weight wasn’t a costar or her fans, though.

To hear her tell it, David Beador stopped loving Shannon when she got “fat.” He wouldn’t touch her and apparently couldn’t stand to look at her.

But, as we’ve described, Shannon and David have been keeping things amicable since their separation in October.

Though David moved out and began dating other women, the two have continued to to do regular family gatherings for the sake of their children.

Going out to dinner or to sportsball games, they’ve been smiling and making it clear that their children come first.

Some wondered if their separation would continue until their children were all a few years older and could grow accustomed to the idea.

RadarOnline reports that this has now changed.

Apparently, Shannon Beador has filed court documents of “dissolution with child.”

(That, to be clear, means that she wants to dissolve the marriage, not their three children)

Shannon also filed a custody declaration, an income declaration, and an expense declaration.

(RadarOnline‘s sources tell them that Shannon’s seeking full custody, and “generous” spousal support and child support. But that’s usually how divorces go)

She filed these documents last Friday, which just so happened to be the first of December.

As it turns out, that was not a coincidence. …

According to another RadarOnline report, Shannon Beador is done playing nice with David.

Their insider explains why Shannon filed these documents on December first:

“Shannon wanted to give David an early Christmas present, so she waited until December to drop the bomb on him.”

Dang. That sounds intense.

“She’s going after full custody and hopes to take him for everything he’s got.”

Are those war drums that we hear in the distance?

“She has so much support right now from all of her cast members and friends.”

That makes sense.

“They all hated David so much and are just beyond thrilled that she finally got rid of him.”

While we don’t expect for The Real Housewives of Orange County cameras to actually follow their divorce proceedings, we’re sure that it will be a big part of Shannon Beador’s future storyline.

But we don’t imagine that we’ll see David. The series is about housewives, not ex-husbands.

While we don’t know yet who will triumph in the divorce battle, we know who’s losing out when the parents begin a no-holds-barred war:

The couple’s three children.

To be clear, we’re not suggesting that they stay together or stay married for the sake of their kids. That’s a recipe for a toxic home environment and children who blame themselves for the misery of their parents.

But an amicable divorce is good for everyone involved. As satisfying as this upcoming court drama might be for fans and viewers, it’s going to take its toll on the Beador kids.

That said … sometimes, there’s just no choice.

Shannon Beador: David Stopped Loving Me When I Got Fat!

Last month, Shannon Beader announced her split from husband David. After 17 years of marriage and three children, it’s over.

But the Real Housewives of Orange County star is giving new insight into how and why their union has come to an end.

And this is really not what anyone expected.

Shannon Beador has had a rough time in her personal life, lately.

Sure, she’s an affluent realty star with three beautiful teenage daughters and a number of supportive friends.

But she’s had some well-chronicled … issues.

Earlier this summer, Shannon Beador accused Vicki Gunvalson of making her fat.

While it’s true that Shannon was stress-eating (though she’s certainly not what we’d call “fat”) and also true that Vicki Gunvalson had been gossiping about Shannon’s marriage and adding to her stress, it rubbed fans the wrong way to hear her blame Vicki.

(Even if you don’t care for Vicki Gunvalson, she just doesn’t have power over other people’s actions and bodies)

Shannon Beador began exercising, and Tamra Judge vowed to help her out of fear that Shannon might die.

And we’ve heard again and again that Shannon’s weight gain was causing friction within her marriage, which is positively tragic.

You marry a person, not their waist measurements. But David was reportedly reluctant to touch her now that she was (slightly!) heavier than she once was.

When a couple suddenly stops having sex, sometimes many other problems that they’d previously been ignoring can rise to the surface.

And Shannon was understandably frustrated by David’s attitude.

But though it’s been reported that Shannon Beador might be ready to divorce David … that’s apparently not how this went down.

On The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s reunion special, Shannon revealed how things happened.

And it was apparently David who asked for their separation in the first place.

But Shannon says that she’s coping:

“It’s been really, really hard but I’m a mom and I’m a role model for my kids and it got to the point where I wasn’t teaching my daughters positive lessons.”

That sounds like a useful mindset. Some people find it easiest to remain strong if they’re being strong for someone else.

Especially for their teenage daughters.

“They deserve a happy and joyful home and that’s where we are now. … It is my job now to show the girls — I’m scared, I’m 53 years old, it’s the first time I’ve been out on my own, but I can do it.”

That sentence structure is a little odd, but suffice it to say that she’s not saying that her job is to show her daughters that she’s scared.

Rather, she’s showing them that she can overcome adversity and adapt to a new situation.

And that they can, too.

Children who haven’t been through a divorce before can often find them frightening and feel insecure.

Some even blame themselves.

Shannon and David are putting the girls first, which is absolutely the right thing to do.

“We’ve agreed for the benefit of our daughters to be amicable.”

That’s the right move. The children didn’t cause the marriage, the divorce, or their own births. It’s on the parents to accommodate them.

“It was always a tradition to go to Sunday night dinner so we meet him for dinner on Sunday nights.”

That’s good. A continued routine can help create a sense of stability for kids who might feel vulnerable.

“And we still go to the USC games and take the kids. Which is hard but it’s for the benefit of them.”

Sometimes, you just grin and bear it for the sake of your kids.

The revelation that Shannon and David split has apparently given Vicki a wake-up call about the harm that she can do by spreading rumors.

“I’m sad about it because I didn’t know and I thought they were doing really good,” Vicki said.

“If I was responsible for any of it, I’d feel awful.”

You know, we believe that.

“If I could take back that day, if I was hurting because you weren’t talking to me… I’m so sorry. We’ve been through bumpiness but I want the very best for you.”

Again, though, Vicki Gunvalson isn’t all-powerful. If her jabs at Shannon’s marriage caused it to fall apart, then it really didn’t have a solid foundation to begin with, did it?

Hopefully Shannon, if she seeks another relationship, can find someone who loves her for who she is and won’t recoil with disgust if her waist size changes.

Our best wishes go out to the Beador daughters in the hopes that their parents give them awesome presents in a game of one-upmanship.

Divorces are rarely fun, so they might as well enjoy one of the few potential benefits: insecure parents bribing them.

Shannon Beador and David Beador: It’s Over After 17 Years!

It’s sad, and maybe a little bit surprising, but it’s true:

Shannon Beador and David Beador have ended their marriage.

The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and her husband of 17 years split last month, People Magazine has confirmed, with Shannon herself announcing the news on Friday afternoon.

“It’s heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it’s the only way,” Shannon said, taking a swipe at David by adding:

“I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties.

“You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship.”

The couple share three kids together: Sophie, 15, and twins Stella and Adeline, 12.

In a statement to Bravo, Shannon said the following of her separation:

“After much thought and careful consideration, David and I have made the difficult decision to separate.

“We remain partners in parenthood and are committed to raising our three daughters.

“This is not the future we envisioned, and we kindly ask for privacy, especially for our children, during this transitional time.”

Anyone who has followed The Real Housewives of Orange Country for Beador’s four-year duration can’t be all that shocked by this development.

On season 10, the series regular revealed that David was unfaithful to her via an affair she learned about just days before filming got underway.

The two then spent time repairing their marriage through therapy and open dialogue with their family, all of which was captured on camera.

Unfortunately, not even an eventual vow renewal at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe in California could save this marriage.

Over the past few months, meanwhile, David and Shannon grew rather distance.

The former often seemed to choose the gym over spending time with his family.

The stars also dealt with an ugly accusation by Vicki Gunvalson last season that David “beat the s—” out of Shannon,” an allegation that never proved to be true… yet which caused Shannon to stress eat and gain around 40 pounds.

“This is not the path that I thought that I would be taking,” Beador also told People.

“To come from the highest of the highs last year to go to such a low so quickly? At the beginning when it starts to crumble, you think, ‘This is just a phase. It’ll get better.’ But it never did.”

Finally, this is the main point Beador wanted to emphasize with People:

“We are doing our best to be amicable for our children. That’s our primary concern, to act in the best interest of our daughters.”

Look for Shannon to talk about it in more detail with Andy Cohen on an episode of Watch What Happens Live next month.

Shannon Beador: Ready to Divorce Her Husband?!

Shannon Beador’s marriage is on thin ice.

We know that from watching The Real Housewives of Orange County, where we saw the star blame her marital troubles — the loss of affection, the constant fighting — on her recent weight gain.

But it turns out that their relationship is in worse shape than we’d imagined.

(One of the “mean” comments under this photo of Shannon and David was someone referring to David as her “sugar daddy.” Both spouses are in their early 50s, making this one of the nicest things that we’ve seen a hater say about Shannon Beador)

If you’ve read our The Real Housewives of Orange County recap, you know that even on camera, the relationship between Shannon Beador and her husband David is rocky at best.

Shannon has been quick to point the finger at one thing that’s behind the decline in their relationship: her weight gain.

This is the same weight gain that Shannon had blamed on Vicki Gunvalson.

Absurd, of course, which is why Shannon retracted the statement. Vicki Gunvalson isn’t a witch and she wasn’t sneaking into Shannon’s home and feeding her in her sleep. To our knowledge, anyway.

Shannon Beador had accused Vicki Gunvalson of spreading false rumors about her and her husband — that David was abusing her — and said that the resulting stress-eating was behind her gaining weight.

Even though Shannon really didn’t gain that much weight and still looks healthy, her friend Tamra Judge worries that Shannon’s going to die.

But Tamra is one of those fitness-obsessed types (she’s a “fitness guru” so it goes with the territory, we guess), so take that with a grain of salt.

Though Shannon has always denied Vicki’s “theory” that David abuses her, it does look like their relationship has gone south recently.

They’re arguing and Shannon has been openly discussing their problems on camera.

(She’s a Real Housewife so maybe she just needed to be open about it for her storyline and maybe they’re even exaggerating things for the camera, but … these marital problems kind of feel like they could be real, you know?)

It’s not unusual, unfortunately, for couples to begin to develop problems when one puts on weight or makes some other dramatic change in their appearance.

It does not mean that their spouse only loved them for their looks.

However, love and physical attraction are different things (though, for many people, they are related).

When a couple is no longer having sex because of a loss of attraction on one spouse’s part (or both), then that lack of sexual intimacy can spill over into their lives.

They become frustrated — at each other but also with themselves and in general.

They get cranky, basically.

It’s not that they were only together for sex, but the sex was part of the equation of their relationship. Without it, things got all out of whack.

Vicki’s diligently working to lose the weight that she’s gained.

Unfortunately, now RadarOnline‘s source says that things are even worse beneath the surface.

“Things have not improved much since the show was filmed!”

That means that the fight that we saw, the problems that Shannon shared, are more or less still in play, even though the episode was certainly filmed months ago.

“What you see this season on the show is just the tip of the iceberg and Shannon is at the point where she doesn’t know if she even wants to fix things anymore.”

Wouldn’t it be something if Shannon loses the weight and then leaves David because of his recent behavior?

“David does not touch her anymore and the two are no longer romantic or intimate.”

Like we said — that’s not good for your relationship.

“They are still in counseling, but it has gotten to the point where their kids don’t even want them together anymore because they are sick and tired of the non-stop fighting.”

Never say together “for the kids,” because they don’t want to be around you fighting and they certainly don’t want to feel like it’s their fault that their parents are forcing themselves to stay together.

And it sounds like the kids have the right idea.

“They are both miserable and at this point, divorce seems like the only option”

We should keep in mind that RadarOnline‘s source is, by nature, not privy to every detail in the couple’s lives.

No one is — unless Shannon and David give an interview together, basically, we’re not going to ever see the whole story.

But usually, if a couple still seems to be fighting and not sleeping together or otherwise getting along, that’s the case.

And that’s all kinds of sad for Shannon and her family.

Shannon Beador: Fine, Vicki Gunvalson DIDN’T Make Me Fat!

Shannon Beador was stressed out, and put on some weight. She’s a human and it happens.

In her unhappiness over the situation, Shannon seemed to be accusing The Real Housewives of Orange County costar Vicki Gunvalson of “causing” the weight gain, which did not go over well.

Fortunately, Shannon’s nowchanged her tune, and she says that she knows exactly where to point the finger.

Shannon Beador faced some backlash for blaming her weight gain on Vicki Gunvalson.

“This is stress!” Shannon exclaimed, referring to her torso.

“And that is Vicki Gunvalson!”

We’re not questioning that Vicki Gunvalson might be stress-inducing.

Or that stress can contribute to weight gain, because it absolutely can.

But drawing a direct link between her figure and Vicki was pushing the boundaries of absurdity a little, you know?

Like, Vicki Gunvalson is many things, but she isn’t a witch who goes around cursing her costars to gain weight.

(As far as we know)

So unless Vicki has been feeding Shannon in her sleep or interfering with her DNA (genetics are usually the real culprits behind fat storage, anyway), we don’t see how

Fortunately, Shannon isn’t actually as disconnected from reality as she seemed.

Shannon is taking full accountability, now, addressing her weight gain in an interview.

Which is good, because she got blasted by people for deflecting the “blame.”

“I just went off the wagon a little.”

No, she doesn’t mean boozing it up, though that’s a great way to pack on the pounds.

She clearly means food:

“I’m the one that put the stuff in my mouth.”

(That’s a quote that could be fun out of context)

She’s been fairly upfront about her struggle, and even released a statement about her weight gain over Instagram:

“So let’s just get to it. Yes, I have gained weight. A lot of weight. About 40 pounds to be exact.”

That was over an eight month period.

Gaining five pounds in a month might not be a big deal, but it is if the next seven months go the same way.

“I have not had plastic surgery or fillers, it’s just plain and simple weight gain.”

Good way to shut down rumors of surgery-gone-wrong.

“There are multiple factors that have contributed to my size and it will be addressed this season on the show.”

That must be so hard, right?

“To those people who intend to write cruel or derogatory comments to me, I want to let you know you will be blocked and the comment deleted.”

That’s the best way to deal with body-shamers and trolls anyway.

“Gaining weight and trying to take it off is a struggle that most women will face at some point in their lives.”

Most men, too — but unlike women, men’s perceived value in society is seldom equated with their appearance.

(Thanks, patriarchal cultural norms!)

“I am hopeful that my fans and viewers of the show will be supportive of my journey.”

Of course they should be supportive.

Whether she’s successful in losing the weight (she’s already knocked off eight pounds through diet and exercise) or not, people shouldn’t body-shame her.

“I am very grateful and thankful to those people that have already reached out to me with their kind thoughts”

It’s good to have a support mechanism.

If you’ll recall, the original source of stress for Shannon Beador was rumors that her husband was abusing her.

Rumors coming from, or at least spread by, Vicki Gunvalson.

(If true, that would be awful — and only further reason to support Shannon Beador, but Shannon seems horrified and enraged and calls the rumors “false”)

Shannon was super upset about the allegations and how, if made public (and they were), they might impact her husband and her children.

So she did some stress-eating.

Vicki Gunvalson does seem like a toxic person who seems to create rifts with everyone she knows, even former friends like Tamra Judge.

But the stress-eating was definitely Shannon’s doing.

It was her choice, conscious or not, for how to cope.

It’s good that she’s acknowledging that, because that’s the only way to move forward and return to the figure that she wants.

Shannon Beador: My Weight Gain Is A Struggle!

We think it’s fair to say Shannon Beador had a terrible time of it during The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11.

She was bickering with Vicki Gunvalson on a weekly basis, and there were some crazy rumors flying around that that Shannon’s husband, David Beador was abusing her.

These stories, of course, came from Vicki, who was intent on causing a lot of drama for her co-stars. It made for first-class reality TV, but it took its toll on Shannon.

So much so that she has gained around forty pounds from last season. If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you will already know that she felt some of the blame had to go on Vicki.

“I knew an allegation was put out there about my husband,” she said on the show’s Season 12 premiere. Yes, it’s crazy to think the show has been on the air for so long.

However, it looks like the drama is showing no signs of fatigue, so we’re all strapped in and ready for another wild ride with these crazy ladies.

Shannon continued to open up about her weight gain on the premiere.

“That stress caused me to eat more, caused me to drink more and that’s a huge part of why I gained my weight.” It’s such a horrible situation to be in, and we feel for Shannon.

If the rumors are fiction, then it’s such an awful thing for her. Her husband’s name is being dragged through the mud, and she’s helpless. We can’t even begin to imagine how David feels about the whole thing.

Shannon has even been opening up about her weight gain on Instagram, and you can tell she’s really hurting.

She released the following statement just a few days ago:

So let’s just get to it. Yes, I have gained weight. A lot of weight. About 40 pounds to be exact. I have not had plastic surgery or fillers, it’s just plain and simple weight gain.

There are multiple factors that have contributed to my size and it will be addressed this season on the show. To those people who intend to write cruel or derogatory comments to me, I want to let you know you will be blocked and the comment deleted.

Gaining weight and trying to take it off is a struggle that most women will face at some point in their lives. I am hopeful that my fans and viewers of the show will be supportive of my journey.

I am very grateful and thankful to those people that have already reached out to me with their kind thoughts. ❤️ Let the season begin…

She also shared a before, and after picture in which it was visible, she had gained some weight. However, she still looks very healthy.

“Five years ago almost to the day. Same cabana. Same amazing friend. Not the same body,” she captioned.

What do you think about all of this?

Sound off below!
