Willie McGinest Derrick Henry’s 99-Yd TD … Not The Best Run Ever!

EXCLUSIVE

Derrick Henry‘s 99-yard touchdown Thursday night was dope … but there are a few runs BETTER than it in NFL history — so says Pats legend Willie McGinest.

Henry stiff-armed three dudes straight to the dirt, stayed in bounds and outran all 11 Jaguars to the end zone … and the whole state of Tennessee went crazy after.

But, when we got Willie out at LAX — he says he’s seen better, “I would say it’s ONE of my top runs.”

Willie ain’t a hater … he just says he’s seen Marshawn Lynch go off way too many times to put Derrick’s epic run ahead of some of Beast Mode’s famous sprints.

“That’s why we started calling them the ‘Beast Mode Runs,’ ‘cause of Lynch against the Saints. And then, I think he had another one against Arizona, so.”

Think Willie’s wrong?? Take a look at the Beast Quake one more time …

Yeah … we’re probably in Willie’s corner on this debate.

Mac Miller 1st Grammy Nom … for Best Rap Album

Breaking News

Another reason for Mac Miller’s fans to celebrate his life and music — the late rapper just got his first ever Grammy nomination.

The Recording Academy announced Friday morning Mac Miller’s “Swimming” is nominated for rap album of the year. The album’s got hefty competition … going up against Cardi B (Invasion of Privacy), Nipsey Hussle (Victory Lap), Pusha T (Daytona) and Travis Scott (Astroworld).

“Swimming” peaked at no. 3 on the Billboard charts when it was released back in August. It returned to the top 10 following his death in September.

TMZ broke the story … Mac died from an accidental overdose.

“Swimming” got rave reviews, including from Rolling Stone which said Mac revealed “himself to be a sympathetic, even winning presence.”

BTW, Mac wasn’t the only artist to earn a posthumous nomination. Chris Cornell — nominated 4 previous times — is up for best rock performance. Chris died by suicide in May.

George Foreman Floyd Ain’t The Best Boxer Ever … Here’s Why

EXCLUSIVE

Floyd Mayweather ain’t gonna like this …

George Foreman tells TMZ Sports it doesn’t matter if Money goes ANOTHER 50-0 … he’ll never consider him the greatest boxer of all-time — ‘cause he ain’t a heavyweight!

“If Floyd Mayweather goes out and gets a real beer belly and comes back and challenges the heavyweights, I’ll call him all that,” George tells us.

“But right now, he’s thin as a rail.”

Floyd’s 50-0 and owns victories over Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley and just about every other great fighter of this era … and even has a win against one of the UFC’s best too (sorry, Conor).

But, Foreman clearly doesn’t care … telling us ya gotta beat the BIG boys to wear the GOAT crown.

“He’s got to say, ‘I’m one of the best.’ That’s all he can say.”

Disagree with George? Perhaps … but we ain’t about to argue with him — dude’s still scary as hell!!

Adam Vinatieri Best Kick Of My Career? Snow Bowl, Baby!!!

Breaking News

Remember the two field goals Adam Vinatieri made that won Tom Brady and the Patriots two Super Bowls??

Yeah … A.V. says they aren’t the best of his career.

“As proud as I am of those two kicks, I think the one that I’m probably the most proud of is the one in the Snow Bowl game in the divisional playoff game against Oakland.”

That’s right … the dude who’s made over 575 kicks in his career and owns the most points in NFL history says his 45-yard, 4th-quarter boot back in 2001 tops ‘em all.

“There were five, six, seven inches of snow on the ground, we’re down by three and it’s a 45-yard field goal,” Vinatieri said on the Talk of Fame Network.

“And, if you miss, the season’s over and you’re cleaning out your locker.”

Adam continued: “To be able to put that one through the posts … to be able to tie the game up and then go into overtime and have a shorter field goal to win … I think that’s probably the one I’m most proud of just because of the sheer difficulty.”

Of course … that WAS the field goal that kicked off the whole Pats dynasty — so maybe Adam’s got a point.

Then again, if the Tuck Rule never happened — neither does the kick.

Sorry, Oakland.

Dick Vermeil McVay Can Be One Of Best Coaches Ever … I’m In Awe!

EXCLUSIVE

Dick Vermeil tells TMZ Sports he’s so impressed with the job Sean McVay‘s doing with the Rams … he says the coach can be one of the greatest of all time.

Dick knows a thing or two about what that takes … he won a Super Bowl in 1999 and is considered a legend among former NFL coaches — and he says the 32-year-old is definitely on his way.

“You know, I think of myself at 32,” Vermeil says … “I think I was just getting ready to go into the NFL about that time … but there’s no way I could have done it.”

McVay’s got the Rams off to a 10-1 start and has Jared Goff and Todd Gurley looking like legitimate MVP candidates.

Vermeil tells us that early success is unprecedented, saying even guys like Bill Walsh and Jim Mora were nowhere near that level at that age.

“I have to give him credit for having, I think, the wherewithal and the potential to become another one of the finest ever.”

Why does Vermeil think Sean’s found so much success so early? Ya gotta hear why he thinks one of McVay’s famous relatives deserves a lot of credit for that.

Nicki Minaj: My Best Friend Whupped Cardi B’s Ass!

Remember when Cardi B threw a shoe at Nicki Minaj and then left the party with a massive goose egg on her forehead?

Well, now we have a better idea of exactly how the rapper got lumped up.

Cardi B-Nicki Minaj

And from the sound of things, the beef between the undisputed queen of hip-hop and the latest claimant to her throne is far from over.

The latest drama began when Cardi’s sister — who is apparently actually named Carolina Hennessy — alleged that Nicki leaked Cardi’s number to her fans.

“She leaked my sister’s number to her fan pages the same sh-t she did to Mariah Lynn,” Hennessy wrote on Instagram this week.

Cardi B, Nicki Minaj Split

“It’s easy for y’all to ask me why I’m bothered, why I care so much! But not one of you are waking up to death threats every day, made up stories that could effect my REAL life and my REAL relationships!” Hennessy added.

“Imagine if this was your infant child, imagine if this was your sister or ya mother! Who with a real heart and real f**kin feelings is going to continue to let a group of people harass them!! If you wouldn’t defend yourself or ya family cool but not me!! Not NEVER!”

On her Beats 1 radio show, Nicki denied leaking the phone number.

Hilariously, she went on to reveal that her friend — former Love & Hip Hop star Rah Ali — was the one who took brutal revenge on Cardi following the infamous Hurling of the Louboutin.

“Rah beat Cardi’s ass really bad,” she said.

“The punches were so hard in your head. Rah beat you so bad that I was mad at Rah. She punched her eight, nine times. Now you got your sister calling me a crackhead.”

Minaj went on to say that she would be “happy” to make the feud “stop” and “never talk about this again.”

While a severe head-pummeling doesn’t seem like a proportionate response to a thrown shoe, Nicki certainly has some loyal friends.

That said, her fans might be a little too loyal, and if they’re really issuing death threats to Cardi’s family, then it’s time for these two to bury the hatchet before someone gets hurt.

Although if they wanted to toss a couple savage diss tracks at each other before moving on, we would be okay with that …
