Mama June Shannon Flaunts Her Size 4 Body!

Some people lose weight for themselves, Some people lose weight for their health.

But, really, what’s the point of losing a massive amount of weight if you don’t trot yourself out to show it off?

That’s exactly what Mama June Shannon is doing at the Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta premiere. And she even brought her daughters with her.

June Shannon’s weight loss journey has taken her so far!

Surgeries to limit how much food she can eat, another surgery to remove nine pounds of excess skin …

(Dramatic weight loss like hers can leave a lot of rolls of leftover skin; yet another sick joke that the human body plays)

… combined with diet and exercise gave her a stunning physical transformation.

In fact, her transformation is so complete that, in her show’s new season, June is going to be a beauty queen!

Of course, Mama June has more reasons to smile than just her total body transformation.

There is, as we’ve recently seen, a new man in her life.

We don’t know much about him yet, but June Shannon’s secret lover taught her how to love again, apparently.

In the teaser for her show’s new season, we found out very little other than that he exists.

Oh, and that June is apparently a terrible liar, because she kissed the guy and then tries to tell her daughters that they haven’t kissed yet.

Like … her kids had already seen it. Their house has windows.

So, Mama June Shannon strutted her stuff in a form-fitting blue dress at the premiere for Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. It’s pretty standard for reality stars to promote their “sister shows.” It’s good for the network.

But premieres aren’t just a time to mingle with other whatever-list celebrities, folks.

They’re a time to get photographed. They’re a time to build your brand and remind everyone else that you exist and, oh by the way, you have a show, too.

Mama June didn’t come alone, either.

She may have left her mystery man at home (well, not at home — you get the idea).

But she brought her family, including the daughter who made her whole family famous in the first place.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson is growing up so quickly!

Kids will do that.

Her lustrous red outfit wasn’t quite her mother’s dress, but that’s okay. Not everybody dresses up; this was not the Golden Globes.

And honestly, we’re glad that neither of them were wearing black, because between June’s cobalt dress and Alana’s burgundy, we were living for their bold color choices.

Honey Boo Boo wasn’t June’s only daughter there, however.

From left to right, you’re looking at June Shannon, Alana Thompson, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, Lauryn’s one-month old daughter, Ella, and Joshua Brandon Efird.

On the first season of From Not to Hot, Mama June lost 300 pounds, which is how she now fits into a Size 4 dress.

She can’t exactly lose another 300 pounds, which is why the second season is going to focus on her new life. On her continued dieting and exercise, on her romantic life.

And, again, on her journey to become a beauty queen. It’s going to be wild.

We can’t wait.

Caitlyn Jenner Shuts Down Piers Morgan: Don’t Ask About My Body, You Creep!

Piers Morgan isn't exactly known for his tasteful questions, and he's once again demonstrating that.

This time, he asks Caitlyn Jenner about how her "physique" has changed since her youth.

As you can see in the video below, Caitlyn shut him down right away, explaining that his question isn't just inappropriate — for many trans women, it's dangerous.

Caitlyn Jenner has been dragged by many in the trans community for not, they believe, doing a good job of representing the community.

(Remember the trans woman who called Caitlyn Jenner a fraud? That woman is now running for office)

But … it looks like things might be getting a little better.

See, Piers Morgan — through innuendo — asks prying questions about Caitlyn's body, now versus in her past.

And Cait shuts him down pretty epically, even talking about how ignorant questions like Piers' can make life itself dangerous for trans women.

So, Piers Morgan holds up an old plastic action figure of Caitlyn Jenner from her Olympian days, long before her transition.

(Total side note, but have you ever seen the episode of Murder, She Wrote that Cait was on? Seeing her deadname on the credits a couple of years ago, back when the series was on Netflix, was such a surprise for me)

Piers made the unfortunate choice to gesture to the action figure, and talk about her "physique," asking how it differs now versus then, saying:

"Obviously, certain areas we know."

Yikes. Cait doesn't let that go by unchallenged, saying:

"See you made a comment there and that's why you would get in trouble."

"You just said, 'Oh certain areas.' That, to a trans person, is disrespectful."

For the record, asking anybody about their private parts in an interview is usually disrespectful unless that person has already indicated that they're fine talking about it.

Cait explains: "Because you don't make a joke about that."

"Because it's not funny, it's life."

She goes on to say:

"And it’s a part of my life and it's a very serious part of my life."

Piers inquires why life can't be a joke, or whatever. We guess that maybe he thought that he'd get away with his creepy questions?

Caitlyn is not amused, saying: "I don't take it and I take that very seriously."

She even ties the issue to other trans folks.

"And so, out of respect to myself and the community, it's not something that you joke about."

Cait talks more about how this impacts trans women, and not just herself:

"It's something, as I said before, this is serious stuff. People die over this issue. It's not a joke."

It's worth noting that Piers Morgan is hardly the first person to ask wildly inappropriate questions of a trans woman he's interviewing.

But it's 2018. This should not still be happening.

Back in 2014, Katie Couric interviewed Laverne Cox and Carmen Carrera, And during that interview, Couric asked some very inappropriate genital questions without realizing that she was doing anything wrong.

Janet Mock did a famous takedown of that behavior — if you're not going to ask a cis celebrity about their genitals, then don't ask a trans celebrity about theirs.

Katie Couric, for the record, apologized and later did a series about trans folks, and stated explicitly that part of what inspired her to do the series was her past mistakes.

Caitlyn jenner strikes a pose

Caitlyn Jenner is right — transphobic questions can be life-for-death for trans folks who aren't millionaire celebrities.

For the record, though, what Piers was saying would be rude and creepy to anyone.

Would he, while interviewing Martha Stewart, ask questions about her breasts or genitals? Would he ask any 68-year-old woman about her "physique" in contrast to when she was a young athlete? We hope not.

Anyway, while nobody's private areas are any business of ours, this is additionally true for trans people. It might become appropriate to ask if you're dating a trans woman, but that's about it.

Logan Paul Apologizes After Mocking Suicide Victim, Posting Video With Dead Body

Logan Paul is the YouTube “celebrity” whom you recently became aware of when your most obnoxious nephew told you about him over the holidays.

He unequivocally sucks, but he has a massive following.

And he’s probably not going anywhere, despite having recently crossed the line between “terrible” and “ghoulish,” because 2018 is sure to be another diaper incinerator of a year.

Paul is a 22-year-old professional prankster who lives his life to amass views, but found himself smack-dab in the center of a particularly lazy episode of Black Mirror yesterday, when he became a top trending topic on Twitter … for all the wrong reasons!

For reasons that remain clear only in his brain–which has likely been severely damaged by years of violent “dabbing”–Paul and some of his friends traveled to Japan’s infamous “suicide forest” near the base of Mt. Fuji.

Here, they quite predictably encountered a dead body hanging from a tree.

Rather than respectfully mourning the loss of a human life and quietly alerting the authorities, Paul and company attempted to turn the whole thing into a comedy bit, with a video entitled–sigh–“We found a dead boy in the Japanese Suicide Forest…”

In the since-deleted clip, Paul and his friends laughed, spoke in “funny” voices, and repeatedly zoomed in on the corpse.

Needless to say, the reaction from Paul’s 3.9 million subscribers was one of near-universal disgust.

And the situation wasn’t helped much by the 22-year-old’s apology, which quickly deteriorated into a remarkably douchey humble-brag session.

“This is a first for me. I’ve never faced criticism like this before, because I’ve never made a mistake like this before. I’m surrounded by good people and believe I make good decisions, but I’m still a human being. I can be wrong,” Paul wrote on Twitter.

“I didn’t do it for views. I get views. I did it because I thought I could make a positive ripple on the Internet, not cause a monsoon of negativity. That’s never the intention.”

He concluded:

“I was misguided by shock and awe, as portrayed in the video. I still am.”

Yes, it was apparently shock and awe that led Paul to introduce his video by saying, “Buckle the f–k up, because you’re never gonna see a video like this again!”

Needless to say, Paul’s “apology” didn’t win him many converts … by which we mean he’s being savaely roasted by the entirety of the internet:

“How dare you! You disgust me,” tweeted Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul (no relation).

“I can’t believe that so many young people look up to you. So sad. Hopefully this latest video woke them up. You are pure trash. Plain and simple. Suicide is not a joke. Go rot in hell.”

“You’re an idiot. You’re not raising awareness. You’re mocking,” remarked Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

“I can’t believe how self-praising your ‘apology’ is. You don’t deserve the success (views) you have. I pray to God you never have to experience anything like that man did.”

“The amount of personal + social unawareness Logan Paul has displayed in THAT video is mind blowing to me. How could one w such power and influence have the audacity to put something so thoughtless online?” asked singer Rebecca Black.

“You have potentially intensified an entire family’s grief beyond measure.”

And as usual, Twitter person Pixelated Boat said what we were all thinking, tweeting:

“Logan Paul is clearly a psychopath, but so is everyone else who recreationally watches YouTube videos.”

Folks, let’s make 2018 the year we stop watching terrible people ruin lives for recreation.

We kid. It’s important to watch the evening news sometimes.
