Jana Duggar: Is Her New Boyfriend Too Liberal For Jim Bob?

About once a week, a new Jana Duggar courtship rumor begins to wend its way around social media.

So it’s no surprise that in the past month alone, two different men have been connected with Jana.

One of the rumored suitors quickly shot down reports that he and Jana are an item, but the other has been less convincing in his half-hearted denials.

There’s been no official confirmation that Caleb Williams is courting Jana, but neither party seems to mind the persistent rumors.

Of course, fans have been waiting for word of a Jana courtship for almost a decade, so you’d think the Duggars would be shouting this news from the rooftop.

Now that fans think they know who Jana is courting, they’ve refocused their attention on figuring out why it is that she’s keeping the relationship a secret.

According to the most popular theory, Jana is keeping her relationship on the DL because her new man’s lifestyle and political beliefs don’t quite mesh with the Duggar “brand.”

Yes, those who know him well say Caleb Williams is a “rebel.”

Mind you, they mean that he’s a rebel by Duggar standards.

As far as anyone can tell, he hasn’t done prison time, and he’s not covered in tattoos–but he may have skipped church once or twice as a teen.

Apparently, the real issue for Duggar patriarch Jim Bob is the fact that Caleb is more liberal than the typical Duggar in-law.

The specifics of his insufficiently conservative beliefs are unknown, but it seems JB is intent on molding the lad into marriage material for Jana.

Sources say Jim Bob and Caleb have been spending time together without Jana–and it’s believed the goal of these hand sessions is for Jim Bob to convince Caleb to come around to a more conservative way of thinking.

These days, Jim Bob is said to be especially vigilant about ensuring the men who take an interest in his daughters also share his worldview.

Those who know the family best say Jim Bob has been clashing with his sons-in-law (Ben Seewald and Jeremy Vuolo in particular) over minor differences in their belief systems that have developed into major points of contention.

Apparently, Ben and Jeremy believe in the Calvinist doctrine of predestination, which runs counter to Jim Bob’s view that grace is attained through Bible study and good works.

Seems like a relatively minor disagreement, but apparently, it’s resulted in major conflict within the Duggar clan.

So you can see why Jim Bob has ramped up his vetting process this time around.

There’s no room for dissent in Jim Bob’s world, and in his mind, the last thing he needs is another son-in-law who thinks the NFL anthem protesters are anything less than the greatest threat to American democracy since Hitler.

Next thing you know, he’ll have another daughter wearing pants!

Amy Roloff Defends Boyfriend, Calls Little People Big World Fake!

It’s sadly no secret that Amy Roloff gets hated online by “fans.” It’s unfair in so many ways. It’s also undeserved.

Often, Amy lets it slide. She’s a grandmother and she has her own life and, quite frankly, doesn’t have to listen to trolls who comment on Instagram.

But one fans comment must have hit just the right nerve, because Amy spoke up to defend her boyfriend against the haters.

Amy Roloff has been dating Chris Marek for a while now.

And there are some haters out there who cannot stand it.

To hear some fans tell it, you’d think that Amy Roloff had developed a meth habit, set fire to Roloff farms, and flipped off her children while riding off on a motorcycle after having joined a biker gang.

In reality, Amy Roloff just … got a divorce from Matt Roloff.

Yes, they had been married for 27 years. That’s a long time to be together.

But no, she’s not a villain. She didn’t abandon their family. She still lives on Roloff farms, and she still loves her family.

Though Amy must be thoroughly accustomed to seeing and ignoring hate directed at herself from people who think that she’s a bad mother or who slam her grandma pictures, this comment got under her skin.

Because this time, the hate wasn’t directed at her.

This was clearly one of her fans.

This time, the fan’s ire was directed at Chris Marek.

Remember, in the past, Amy Roloff’s been slammed for vacationing with Chris because it was “too close” to Audrey giving birth to precious baby Ember Jean.

But that was more about shaming Amy Roloff for daring to have a life than it was about questioning Chris Marek’s motives.

A commenter wrote on Amy Roloff’s Instagram:

“Big mistake, believe me, Amy can do better [than] him, he’s just in it for the game [and] getting his face out there.”

Referring to Amy in the third person tells us that maybe this person was hoping to engage with other fans … and not expecting Amy to read and respond.

But Amy did, writing:

“Try not to make quick assumptions about anyone from what you see on an edited show.”

That’s good advice, really.

But it’s also interesting that Amy Roloff would point out that Little People, Big World is edited.

Is she calling the series fake?

We know that Amy Roloff has been spending time with Jacob Roloff, so now we’re wondering if Jacob’s belief that the series is too fake for him to support has rubbed off on her.

It’s also possible that she’s just trying to deflect criticism from Chris. That’s totally fair — she shouldn’t have to defend her relationship to total strangers.

As for the people who are spinning “theories” about why Chris Marek is dating Amy … have they considered that he likes her?

Or do these haters believe, on some level, that little people are somehow unlovable?

If so … what the heck are they doing watching Little People, Big World in the first place? Ugh.

Hazel-E and Boyfriend Tell Gay People to “Die and Go To Hell”

Hazel-E stars on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood.

But the Z-list star is in major hot water at the moment for showing no love whatsoever for members of the LGBT community.

The cable network star has stirred up some major controversy for jumping to the defense of boyfriend Rose Burgundy after he (yes, Rose is a he) was accused of wanting to cheat on Hazel with a comedian named Jess Hilarious.

At some point, screenshots of an alleged conversation between Rose and Jess were uploaded by a social media user named Camyonce – and they implied that Burgundy is bisexual.

Very offended by the notion that he wanted to have sex with a man, Burgundy shared the following message on Instagram:

“You really want to know how I feel about gays so bad well here you go I hope all gays die and go to hell thats where I’m come from Bi**h check your lies before you post I’m from piru Bi**h I’m 25 not 19 and it’s Denzell with 2 L’S Bi**h google me.

Oh, and did we mention he left this message alongside a photo of a gay pride flag on fire?

Burgundy has made his account private, so we cannot post the offensive picture here.

But Hazel chimed in on the comments section with the following remark:

“Burn in hell just like God said in the Bible!”

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member then shared the above image of her and Burgundy and wrote as a caption:

We are tired of the bs & we will defend ourselves at all costs.

Y’all making up posts, I’m stating facts. Go read the Bible, google self hatred amongst black women then come holla at this Queen.

Hazel also posted since-deleted photos about Jess Hilarious and calling her a “raggedy broke black ass bitch” and a “monkey,” while slamming other dark-skinned women as well.

To wit:

mean words

It’s all pretty darn ugly and gross.

Thankfully, plenty of folks on the World Wide Web were made aware of Hazel’s comments and responded with harsh words for the intolerant wanna be celebrity.

Again, to wit:

Hazel-E slamming

Neither Hazel-E nor Burgundy have commented on this scandal.

We aren’t exactly waiting on an apology, either.

But we also won’t be watching Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood until Hazel is fired.

Do you feel the same way?
