Kendall Jenner has another scary stalker, and it’s gotta be enraging to her because security at her multi-million dollar exclusive gated community left a gaping hole for the guy to enter. 37-year-old John Ford was arrested early last month for…
In August, Ben Affleck entered rehab for the third time, following an intervention by his estranged wife, Jennifer Garner, and a sobriety coach.
He has now completed his inpatient treatment.
Now, he is finally breaking his silence for the first time since beginning his latest stint in rehab.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Ben Affleck penned a serious message for his fans and followers.
“This week,” he begins. “I completed a 40-day stay at a treatment center for alcohol addiction.”
“And,” he continues, he will “remain in outpatient care.”
That is good. Staying in rehab helps with sobering up and getitng support. The real test is when you return to the real world.
“The support I have received from my family, colleagues, and fans means more to me than I can say,” Affleck writes.
“It’s given me the strength and support,” he says, when he needed it most.
He writes about how empowering it is “to speak about my illness with others.”
Sometimes, the best way that you can help yourself is by doing your best to help others.
“Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle,” he affirms.
If a single stint in rehab could simply cure an addiction, well, the world would be a different place.
“Because of that,” Affleck explains. “No one is never really in or out of treatment.”
Sobriety becomes part of your life on a permanent basis. You can never let down your guard and relax, unfortunately.
“It is a full-time commitment,” he adds.
What matters to him is that he remain motivated and keep his eye on the prize.
“I am fighting for myself and my family,” Affleck writes.
“So many people have reached out on social media and spoken about their own journeys with addiction,” he continues.
Sharing stories of personal struggles, even when those tales include setbacks, and build a powerful sense of commonality and community.
“To those people,” Affleck writes. “I want to say thank you.”
He credits them with lending him emotional support when he was at his most vulnerable.
“Your strength is inspiring and supporting me in ways I didn’t think was possible,” he says.
“It helps,” Affleck admits. “To know I am not alone.”
Addiction is a serious problem for millions of Americans — and for countless millions more. He is far from alone.
“As I’ve had to remind myself, if you have a problem, getting help is a sign of courage,” he continues.
It is important, he notes, that asking for help is perceived as wise and brave, “not weakness or failure.”
He is absolutely right. If society shames people for seeking help, no one can ever receive treatment.
It’s a real relief that Affleck is taking this seriously now that he has completed his stint in rehab.
People who struggle with addiciton can sometimes convince themselves that it’s in the past, only to relapse the moment that their lives experience setbacks.
No one wants that for Ben Affleck. Least of all Ben Affleck himself.
By sharing his journey with fans in an open message like this, perhaps he will feel that he has a larger support network this time around.
We hope so.
On the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner gave birth. It took more than seven months for that to air.
Viewers knew that it was only a matter of time before the show reached Khloe and her much more controversial childbirth.
In this preview video, you can see Kim, Khloe, and the rest of her family react as Khloe goes into labor … and Tristan's cheating scandal is exposed.
In the Keeping Up With The Kardashians preview teaser video that we have for you, the show teases what remains to be seen on this season.
When it really becomes interesting is when, very clearly, the story of Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal breaks.
"They have another video of him," Kim can be heard saying into her phone.
She is clearly referring to Tristan Thompson and the evidence of him being with other women during Khloe's pregnancy.
"Unfollowed, I hate him," Kim announces in another part of the clip. "Sorry, not sorry."
Kim's reaction was one thing, but what everyone wants to see is how Khloe responded to the news that her love and baby daddy is a no-good dirty cheater.
As we all know, it was a matter of hours after that scandal broke that Khloe went into labor with baby True.
"The things I can control, I have to be able to control," Khloe can be heard saying.
That is a fairly grounded response to such explosive news — though of course we can imagine that some responses may have been edited out.
Khloe does, after all, have veto power over footage from the show.
She gets an ultrasound while very pregnant, and also is shown going into labor while her family races to get to where she is in Cleveland.
"I hope everyone gets here in time," Khloe says.
You can also see a van full of her family members racing towards her.
As widely reported as Tristan's scandal was and True's birth was, we never really got a behind-the-scenes look or Khloe's reaction immediately afterwards.
We hope that, despite Khloe's editorial powers, we get to see her raw reaction. Fans are curious. It's human nature.
We'll definitely get to see at least some of the responses, from anger to disbelief, of Khloe's extended family. We wonder what Tristan will think.
Arguably the second-most-interesting storyline in this teaser is Kim using her platform for civil rights advocacy.
The story of a woman using her fame and beauty to influence a terrible old orange man to pardon a grandmother is definitely compelling.
Speaking of Trump, Kim also addresses Kanye West's worrisome bad behavior and outlandish statements.
In this case, it looks like fans can expect to see more or less the same sentiments that she has expressed publicly.
She believes that Kanye's apparently uncontrolled, no-filter declarations about Trump and "dragon energy" aren't signs of mental illness.
Kim may be right. If she is, Kanye isn't mentally troubled — he may just be a bad person.
And it is of course unfair to malign the mentally ill, many of whom are good people, by confusing bad behavior with mental health.
Viewers will also get to see things like Kendall, who is famously anxious, try skydiving for the first time. Also, Kris falls down playing baseball.
Honestly? That could all be entertaining, but it's just filler.
Khloe's heartbreak, Kim's activism, and Kanye's nonsense look like the real meat of the rest of the season.

Kanye West is known for saying a lot of crazy stuff.
He just comes right out and tells the world what sort of porn he likes to watch, for instance.
But the rapper appeared on Chicago-based radio station 107.5 on Wednesday and said something we never expected to hear him say:
Kanye issued an apology.
The artist has been under more fire than ever before over the past several weeks, due to patently ridiculous comments he made this summer about how slavery was a choice for black people.
He also made it clear, over and over and over again, that he was an ardent support of Donald Trump, sharing a photo, for instance, of himself in a Make America Great Again hat.
In this radio interview, however, Kanye basically took it all back.
"I don’t know if I properly apologized for how the slavery comment made people feel,” West said, adding on air:
"I’m sorry for the one-two effect of the MAGA hat into the slave comment, and I’m sorry for people that felt let down by that moment.
"And I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to talk to you about the way I was thinking and what I was going through."
Kanye actually dissolved into full-on tears at one point as well, touching on the subject of his late mother and how he has lacked a support system over the years.
He told the hosts that's the reason why his wife, Kim Kardashian, has not suffered a mental breakdown yet: because her family is always, always there for her.
"The thing about being called crazy, the biggest stigma that has to be broken is that you instantly get written off,” he continued.
“But you might be the only one who knows what they’re talking about. Also, what I wanna say to everyone listening right now – I have never really approached or addressed the slavery comment fully.
"And it’s not something for me to overly intellectualize.
"This is something about the fact that it hurt people’s feelings and the way that I presented that piece of information. I could present in a way, more calm way, but I was ramped up. And I apologize.
"That happens sometimes when people are – I’m not blaming mental health, but I’m explaining mental health."
We never thought we'd live to see this day, did you?

EJ Johnson has finally commented on the tragic death of Lyric McHenry.
And the former E! reality star has said something very interesting and thought-provoking about his late friend.
First, a quick refresher:
McHenry was found dead on a sidewalk in New York City in mid-August.
The scene was both horrifying, depressing and confusing, as authorities came across McHenry’s body in a rundown section of the Bronx.
She was only wearing underwear and a pajama top. And there was a small ziplock bag of cocaine in her possession.
Moreover, according to initial reports that are now under some dispute, McHenry was about 20 weeks pregnant. She was also just 26 years old.
McHenry was known to television viewers as someone who made multiple appearances on EJNYC, a one-season Rich Kids of Beverly Hills spinoff that aired in 2016 on E!.
It followed the life of EJ Johnson in New York City, the son of basketball legend Magic Johnson and an out and proud young gay man.
Since McHenry’s shocking and sad passing, many friends, family members and loved ones have spoken out in tribute.
They’re also spoken out in defense of Lyric, whose reputation was taking a major hit in death due to the way her corpse was discovered.
But McHenry was a Stanford graduate who had previously interned for Barack Obama and who was enjoying a successful life as a television producer.
In his first remarks since his close friend passed away, however, Johnson did not really take this approach.
Instead, in the comments section of his Instagram, the reality star actually said very little.
Yet he sort of said a lot at the same time.
“I’m going to make this clear to everyone there will be no mourning post because I’m not going to reduce a 25yr friendship to 1 Instagram post,” Johnson wrote.
He later added simply:
“Please respect my privacy and my process.”
That’s quite the unusual and, in our opinion, admirable stance.
In this age of social media, people are often judged by what they say in public; most users feel a need to respond to every tragedy or every current event online, in some kind of attempt to get “credit” from their followers.
But Johnson is refusing to give in to this social norm.
He’s going to grieve in private and he’s not going to try and sum up an entire person or an entire friendship in, like, 240 characters.
McHenry died after a night out with friends in celebration of her birthday, although Johnson was not included in this group outing.
He had earlier sent his pal very happy wishes for the occasion, however, writing on Instagram:
Happy birthday to my best friend who has strutted with my in princess gowns since day 1 @lyric_leigh words cannot express how much I love and appreciate you in my life.
Your constant love, respect and companionship gives me the confidence to live my truth every single day and I am so blessed that even as baby divas we recognized the greatness in each other.
I love you.
McHenry, meanwhile, also frequently shared photos of herself with Johnson on Instagram.
Last year, she wished EJ a happy birthday with a heartfelt post of her own.
“Happy birthday to my twin spirit for life coordinated since toddlers,” she wrote. “I’m so proud of who you are and what you will continue to be! I love you @ejjohnson_!”
While some wonder whether McHenry was murdered, allow us to simply say the following:
May Lyric McHenry rest in peace.

Jimmy Bennett has spoken out for the first time since his allegations of sexual assault against Asia Argento went public.
In a case that has received national attention, and about which the reporting has gone through a number of twists and turns, the 22-year old actor says Argento raped him back when he was 17 years old.
She was 37 years old at the time.
Bennett has known Argento since the two worked on a 2004 film together.
According to documents obtained by The New York Times, he claims that she plied him with alcohol and forced herself on him inside a hotel room about five years ago.
He made this allegations several months ago because Argento was in the news for making her own rape allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
In response to the accusation, Argento paid Bennett a sum of $ 380,000.
However, she has said she was prompted to do so by then-boyfriend Anthony Bourdain in order to 1. Help Bennett financially and 2. Make the issue go away.
Argento has strongly denied having any sexual contact with Bennett, as you can see in her statement below:
HOWEVER, a photo has since surfaced that appears to show Argento and Bennett in bed.
Moreover, there also appears to be a text message chain (down below) in which Argento admits to a friend that she slept with Bennett, while saying the actor initiated this interaction and has basically been obsessed with her ever since.
So that’s where we stand.
That’s the background to Bennett’s first statement on the confusing, disturbing scandal.
We’re just going to publish the entire statement here and allow our readers to make up their own minds about what may or may not have transpired between Bennett and Argento…
Many brave women and men have spoken out about their own experiences during the #MeToo movement, and I appreciate the bravery that it took for each and every one of them to take such a stand.
I did not initially speak out about my story because I chose to handle it in private with the person who wronged me.
My trauma resurfaced as she came out as a victim herself. I have not made a public statement in the past days and hours because I was ashamed and afraid to be part of the public narrative.
I was underage when the event took place, and I tried to seek justice in a way that made sense to me at the time because I was not ready to deal with the ramifications of my story becoming public.
At the time I believed there was still a stigma to being in the situation as a male in our society.
I didn’t think that people would understand the event that took place from the eyes of a teenage boy.
I have had to overcome many adversities in my life, and this is another that I will deal with, in time. I would like to move past this event in my life, and today I choose to move forward, no longer in silence.
This is a photo of Bennett and Argento:
Argento became a prominent leader of the #MeToo movement following her accusations against Weinstein.
(Dozens of other women have made similar accusations of assault against the producers in the days, weeks and months since.)
She was also in the news this summer after Bourdin tragically committed suicide.
Argento denied Bennett’s rape allegations in a statement to New York Magazine on Tuesday, August 21, saying:
“I am deeply shocked and hurt by having read news that is absolutely false. I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett.”
In one of the texts below, though, Argento appears to write:
“I had sex with him it felt weird. I didn’t know he was a minor until the shakedown letter.”
