Video of 3 women featured in the “Surviving R. Kelly” docuseries shows them front row at one of his concerts, but it’s not necessarily what it seems.
TMZ obtained this footage from an October 2016 show in New Jersey. You can see Joycelyn Savage, Dominique Gardner and Azriel Clary standing next to each other in clear view of Kelly while he’s onstage.
The women were dancing and cheering … Azriel even gave Kelly a high five. The woman who recorded the clip shouts, “Tell your father come over here” … because she thought the girls were young, we’re told. FWIW, all of them were 18 or older at that time.
Loved ones for all 3 appeared on ‘Surviving,’ claiming Kelly held them against their will. Looking at the video, one could say they were thoroughly — and voluntarily — enjoying themselves at the concert.
However, one could also say it’s textbook Stockholm Syndrome … where victims develop a connection to their captor, but it’s really a psychological defense to survive an ordeal.
Drake put the moves on a 17-year-old female fan — including kissing her several times — during a concert in 2010 … and now he’s being criticized for his actions, which many are calling inappropriate and creepy.
The clip’s reportedly from a show at the Ogden Theatre in May 2010. It starts with Drake on stage with the young fan, who he begins slow-dancing with … before getting behind her and smelling her hair.
He then appears to caress her and kiss her on the neck, and says to the crowd … “Y’all gonna have me get carried away again. I get in trouble for sh*t like this; how old are you?”
After the girls tells him she’s 17, the crowd erupts … to which Drake replies, “I can’t go to jail yet, man! Seventeen? How do you look like that? You thick. Look at all this.”
But he doesn’t stop there — he tells the girl he had fun with her and liked the way her breasts felt against his chest … then goes in for more kisses, including on the lips.
It should be noted Drake was 23 at the time of the video, and age of consent in Colorado is 17 … but that hasn’t stopped many fans from skewering the rapper for his behavior.
And, with Lifetime’s “Surviving R. Kelly” fresh on a lot of people’s minds … this Drake video’s definitely raising eyebrows.
Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s legal woes continue to stack up as the rapper sits behind bars … he’s now being sued for bailing on a concert and costing promoters big bucks.
6ix9ine was supposed to play a show on Howard Homecoming Weekend back in October. According to the docs — obtained by TMZ — the rapper signed on to do the show for $ 60,000 … but according to promoters, never showed up and forced them to turn away thousands of fans.
The docs state concert organizers were scrambling to get in touch with Tekashi on the date of the show … and his management team — who are also listed as defendants in the lawsuit — did little to help.
Promoters say tons of fans showed up at the venue and waited outside for hours for the doors to open. It wasn’t until 8 PM — when concertgoers were supposed to be admitted to the event — that organizers had to let everyone know the show was canceled … fearing a riot would break out.
Organizers claim they sold $ 165,336 in presale sears and another $ 30,300 in VIP tables for the event.
The docs — filed by attorneys Jelani D. James and Donald M. Temple — claim no less than $ 300k in damages.
The scary scene unfolded Thursday during Iggy’s performance at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro. You see a backup dancer collapse onstage and her body shaking uncontrollably. Iggy calls for a medic, then starts singing “Black Widow” before the music stops and an eerie silence falls over the stadium.
Medics actually drove an ambulance onstage to take the woman away. Then it was back to business for Iggy.
It sounds like the backup dancer will be okay … Iggy addressed the incident on social media, saying the lights and heat in the venue triggered the seizure, and the woman’s feeling much better now.
The deadly tsunami that has killed more than 220 people was captured as it hit, in a video that shows a concert decimated by the fierce wave.
The bad, Seventeen, was performing at a beach resort in Tanjung Lesung, Indonesia when the tsunami struck. You see the stage collapse as audience members run for their lives.
The lead singer now says their manager and bassist died. Three other band members are missing.
The tsunami hit Saturday night, after an underwater landslide triggered a volcanic eruption.
The force of the tsunami was devastating, with 20 foot waves pounding and destroying everything in its path.
The tsunami destroyed more than 500 homes, 9 hotels, 60 restaurants and 350 boats.
This is not the first tsunami that has hit the country. In 2004, hundreds of thousands of people were killed after a tsunami hit shore. The country still doesn’t have a proper tsunami warning system, and this one hit without warning.
NBA YoungBoy’s concert exploded into violence Friday night, after someone ran up on him and tried stealing his chain.
The rapper was performing in South Carolina, sitting on his bodyguard’s shoulder in the crowd, when a fan snuck up on him and tried yanking the bling off his neck. You see NBA YoungBoy jump off his bodyguard’s shoulder and punch the dude in the face.
The bodyguard breaks up the fight, but it doesn’t take long for the crowd to go at each other.
NBA YoungBoy got back on stage and started rapping with Quando. Problem is … the guy who tried stealing the chain started heckling him, and Quando stopped the music and throws down a challenge …if anyone had an issue with NBA YoungBoy they should speak up or forever hold their peace.
The jerk spoke up and that triggered yet another fight.
Cardi B shook things up in a big way Friday night, and Offset was right there with her.
Cardi rocked the house at the Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Offset was cheering her on. We got this video of Offset in a mask leaving the backstage area after Cardi’s set. He watched the entire concert from that area.
The video shows Cardi chillin’ at one point and Offset is near her in the orange pants.
Goes without saying … the concert was sold out.
Earlier in the day, we got Cardi and Offset having a blast on a jet ski … she was in the back holding on tight.
There’s no official word of a reconciliation, but it seems Offset’s public campaign to win her back has worked. A few days ago, Cardi said she missed her hubby, or at least parts of him.
