New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft ain’t mincing his words — saying Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL … period.
Of course, there were reports last week that Brady walked into the Patriots practice facility and declared himself the “baddest mother f*cker on the planet.”
So, when we saw Kraft leaving John Jay College in New York we had to ask for his thoughts.
“We’re lucky to have the greatest quarterback in history,” Kraft said with a smirk on his face.
Earlier in the day, Kraft had teamed up with Jay-Z, Meek Mill and 76ers owner Michael Rubin for an event to launch the Reform Alliance, which is focused on overhauling the probation and parole system in America. The goal is to free 1 million people over the next 5 years.
And, since he’s become tight with Meek, we asked if the Pats would be playing Mill’s hit, “Dreams and Nightmares,” if they win the Super Bowl this year … to which it sounds like he says, “Of course.”
The issue with that … “Dreams and Nightmares” was essentially the theme song for the Philadelphia Eagles last season (when they beat the Pats in the Super Bowl).
Then again, it worked then … maybe it’ll work now!
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger will be together forever — it’s an absolute lock, and we know this because she did something for him early Friday morning … that almost NO one in L.A. does.
Ya probably wouldn’t believe this if we didn’t get it on video, but here it is — Katherine behind the wheel at 7 AM, driving her fiance and dropping him off at LAX!! If you live in L.A., or even if you’ve flown here, you know the airport is an absolute nightmare.
Kat stayed in the car as we congratulated Chris on their engagement, and chatted about a possible best man for their wedding. You gotta see him, because the smile on Chris’ face screams one thing: My girl will do ANYTHING for me.
We got even more proof they’re rock solid on Thursday night … as the couple did dinner with Katherine’s mom and brother — Maria Shriver and Chris Schwarzenegger — and Pratt’s son, Jack.
The goodbye scene outside the Smoke House Restaurant in Burbank was straight out of a Hallmark card. Jack had big hugs for Katherine’s bro and also for Nana Maria.
Super sweet … but still pales in comparison to the scene at LAX.
Chris, you got a real one. And Katherine, thanks for making the rest of us schlubs look bad.
This counts as being humble … right?
Terrell Owens ran into Jerry Rice at the airport Tuesday night — and ADMITTED that #80 is the greatest wide receiver of all time … even better than #81.
Hey, it’s obvious to most people … but hearing it come from T.O.’s own mouth is a big deal from a guy who once proclaimed, “I love me some me!”
During the encounter, Owens said … “I know I’m great. But, I’ve always said there’s only one person better than me at the pigskin and guess who that guy is?!”
Owens added, “You heard it here from the horse’s mouth. He’s #1. I’m always gonna be 1A, Anybody else they can be #2.”
Both guys had pretty solid NFL careers — Owens ended up with more than 1,000 receptions, 15,934 yards and 153 TDs.
Rice had 1,549 career catches, 22,895 yards and 197 TDs.
Both ended up in the Hall of Fame … but yeah, Owens is right — Rice is G.O.A.T.
Some people say it’s Daniel Cormier. Others say it’s Jon Jones … but Amanda Nunes says when it comes to the greatest MMA fighter ever, SHE’S #1.
Most MMA experts agree Nunes solidified her place as the greatest female fighter ever with her dominant victory over Cris Cyborg at UFC 232.
But, with a resume that boasts wins over Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate and TWO victories over Valentina Shevchenko … ya can’t ignore Amanda’s G.O.A.T. case.
TMZ Sports spoke with the Lioness — who’s still giddy over the win — and she says there’s no doubt she’s the best to ever step in the Octagon.
We also asked about a rematch with Cyborg — and Nunes told us it’ll be at least two years before Cris gets another shot.
In the meantime, Nunes says she’s going back down to 135 pounds to punish the rest of that division.
Nunes says she means no disrespect to Cyborg — there are no hard feelings — but it’s just not a priority for her.
LeBron James just settled the GOAT debate, at least the way he sees it … claiming the crown for himself thanks to the Cavaliers win against the Golden State Warriors for the 2016 NBA Championship.
James was chatting with a couple buddies on “More Than An Athlete” Sunday when the GS series came up. Without hesitation, LeBron says he knew winning that series made him the greatest player of all time.
You’ll remember, LeBron’s Cavaliers found themselves in a 3-1 hole that year and battled back to win it all in Game 7. LeBron burst into tears at the buzzer when celebrating with his teammates.
For years, NBA fans have argued LeBron and Michael Jordan as the best of all time … but it seems like there’s no question in LeBron’s mind.
