LeBron James I’m Droppin’ a Rap Project … With 2 CHAINZ!!!

Breaking News

LeBron James has a new teammate … 2 CHAINZ!!! ‘Cause the Lakers superstar just announced his first music project starring the “It’s A Vibe” rapper.

The King is takin’ his first shot at being an A&R exec … teaming up with the Georgia rapper for, “Rap Or Go To The League,” a 14-track album coming out March 1.

LBJ announced the collab with a video of the duo in the studio … choppin’ it up about things like the tracklist, features and release plans — all the things a music exec has to deal with.

“Can’t wait for y’all to hear the continues evolution of his profound skills from his mind to the booth to the records itself,” Bron says, “Proud of you homie and the people will be as well when this hits!”

2 Chainz added … “It’s gonna be shocking for people to know how much input you had on (the project.)”

No word on whether Bron actually got in the booth to spit some bars … but we know he’s fully capable of doing so.

By the way, 2 Chainz was recently complaining that he got snubbed from the NBA All-Star Weekend celebrity game … guessing the league won’t overlook him next year if he’s biz partners with LeBron?!

Australian Rules Superstar Parties with LeBron, Kendall & Drake … During U.S. Trip

EXCLUSIVE

Nic Naitanui is one of the GREATEST athletes you’ve never heard of — an Australian Rules Football superstar — who spent his New Year’s Eve partying with the most famous people on Earth.

And, why? BECAUSE HE’S A STUD!! Seriously, watch his highlights.

The 28-year-old West Coast Eagles star has spent the past few weeks in America while recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee. He’s been training at UCLA.

Despite his massive fame in Australia, NicNat has been flying under the radar for most of his trip because — let’s face it — most Americans don’t watch Aussie Rules.

But, our photog, Charlie, is from Down Under — and could barely believe it when he spotted the Australian sports hero hanging out like a normie in Santa Monica.

Nic told us he’s met a ton of big stars during his U.S. trip including Ben Simmons and Kendall Jenner … and spent his New Year’s Eve with LeBron James and Drake

By the way, Nic is 6’7″ and 223 pounds — a freak of an athlete — and worked out at the Philadelphia Eagles training facility in 2017.

So, is there a future in the NFL?

“I enjoy the game. I don’t know … maybe one day.”

Nic says he’d probably be a good fit for a tight end since he’s got some of the best hands in Aussie Rules.

Meantime, go back and watch Nic’s highlights … this dude is unreal.

LeBron James I’m The Greatest Player of All Time ’16 Win vs. Warriors Did It

LeBron James just settled the GOAT debate, at least the way he sees it … claiming the crown for himself thanks to the Cavaliers win against the Golden State Warriors for the 2016 NBA Championship.

James was chatting with a couple buddies on “More Than An Athlete” Sunday when the GS series came up. Without hesitation, LeBron says he knew winning that series made him the greatest player of all time.

You’ll remember, LeBron’s Cavaliers found themselves in a 3-1 hole that year and battled back to win it all in Game 7. LeBron burst into tears at the buzzer when celebrating with his teammates.

For years, NBA fans have argued LeBron and Michael Jordan as the best of all time … but it seems like there’s no question in LeBron’s mind.

Halsey Kyle Kuzma Will Save Lakers … While LeBron Is Out

EXCLUSIVE

Worry not Laker fans … Halsey thinks Kyle Kuzma will hold the fort down while LeBron is out … and we gotta admit, the singer really seems to know her basketball.

The whole sports world held their collective breath when LeBron injured himself on Christmas day and, now that we know he’s gonna be out a while, the question is how will the Lakers respond?

We got Halsey at LAX and she has all the faith in the world in the young guys, saying they played the second half beautifully without LBJ, and she expects more of the same, especially from one guy.

“I think they did fine in the second half. I think Kuzma’s a star.”

Kyle Kuzma is BALLING this season … averaging 18 points a game and providing the second guy LeBron has needed for the turnaround season.

Halsey seems to think he can now be the MAIN guy, and with LeBron sidelined for at least a couple games, he’s gonna get his chance.

Listen, Kuzma is a G … but filling in for LeBron isn’t gonna be Easy. Laker fans better hope Halsey is right.

Magic Johnson Not Panicking Over LeBron Injury Here’s the Plan …

EXCLUSIVE

Magic Johnson doesn’t seem too concerned that his franchise player is sidelined with a groin injury — telling TMZ Sports it’s all gonna be okay!

Of course, LeBron James scared the entire NBA when he left the Lakers’ Christmas Day game against the Golden State Warriors after coming up limpy after an awkward fall.

Bron later announced the injury was just a groin strain — nothing more serious — but still, people are wondering if this is the beginning of the end for a soon-to-be 34-year-old who’s never had any serious injuries.

“We don’t worry about what people say,” Johnson told us on the way out of Craig’s in Los Angeles … “We’re having a great season, you can’t worry about what people say.”

“I’m happy and we’ll be okay.”

We asked if the injury scare increased Magic’s sense of urgency in getting another superstar to the Lakers — to which he replied, “Nope. Nope. Nope.”

So, what’s the message to the rest of the Lakers who will have to soldier on without LeBron?

“Play hard, play together, play Laker basketball.”

As for LeBron’s return date, Magic wasn’t specific — saying James is “taking a little time.”

We also asked Magic how he felt about LeBron’s controversy regarding his “Jewish Money” comments earlier this week … and the NBA legend seemed satisfied with how James has handled it.

“He apologized so that’s a good thing,” Magic said.

“He’s a great man and he apologized and everybody moves on, right?”

LeBron James Meant No Harm w/ ‘Jewish Money’ Post Says NBA Agent Daniel Hazan

EXCLUSIVE

LeBron James not getting fined for his “Jewish Money” post was the right call … so says NBA agent Daniel Hazan who is also Jewish.

We got the super agent out Monday night in NYC and had to ask him about LeBron’s XMAS Eve Instagram post that sparked backlash. ICYMI … LeBron posted a pic on IG with the caption “getting that Jewish money” which he THOUGHT was a compliment to Jews. It’s not, so LeBron apologized.

Hazan — the CEO and founder of Hazan Sports Management — dropped a little knowledge on us about the term and why it’s seeded with anti-Semitism. Hazan also explains what he thinks LeBron was trying to convey with the message. Bottom line … LeBron shot and missed with his post but Hazan does give LeBron credit for one thing.

Watch.

LeBron James Apologizes for ‘Jewish Money’ IG Post

Breaking News

LeBron James busted out a big “Sleecha” to Jewish people on Sunday — after posting a photo on Instagram with the caption, “Getting that Jewish money.”

Long story short, LeBron says he thought it was a “compliment” to Jews.

James was actually quoting a lyric from the 21 Savage rap song “ASMR” — but there was a backlash online from people who felt someone as famous and powerful as LeBron shouldn’t be pushing old Anti-Semitic stereotypes.

“Apologies, for sure, if I offended anyone,” James told ESPN … “That’s not why I chose to share that lyric. I always [post lyrics]. That’s what I do. I ride in my car, I listen to great music, and that was the byproduct of it.”

“So, I actually thought it was a compliment, and obviously it wasn’t through the lens of a lot of people. My apologies. It definitely was not the intent, obviously, to hurt anybody.”

Despite LeBron’s intent, there have been hundreds of books and articles written over the years about why the “Jews and Money” stereotype is a dangerous one.

Quite simply, it’s been used a rallying cry to fuel anti-Semitism for hundreds of years.

As far as the NBA is involved, ESPN reports he will not be fined for the posting the lyrics.

LeBron James NFL Owners Have ‘Slave Mentality’

LeBron James railed on the NFL, saying the owners are a bunch of white guys who treat their players with extreme disrespect.

LeBron made the comments on his HBO show, “The Shop,” contrasting the football league with the NBA. James said, “In the NFL they got a bunch of old white men owning teams and they got that slave mentality … and it’s a little like, ‘This is my team. You do what the f*** I tell y’all to do. Or we get rid of y’all.'”

The Lakers star is clearly referring in part to Colin Kaepernick allegedly getting blackballed by NFL owners who were outraged by the kneeling movement the QB triggered.

LeBron has high praise for his own league, praising the head honcho … “I’m so appreciative of our commissioner [Adam Silver] … he doesn’t mind us having … a real feeling and to be able to express that. It doesn’t even matter if Adam agrees with what we are saying. He at least wants to hear us out, as long as we are doing it in a very educational, non-violent way, then he’s absolutely okay with it.”

Carmelo Anthony Is What LeBron James Needs … Says James Worthy

EXCLUSIVE

James Worthy says L.A. should sign Carmelo Anthony … ’cause the Lakers legend tells TMZ Sports Melo is exactly what LeBron James NEEDS!!!

Rumors have been swirling this week that the move could go down … ’cause John Salley hinted to us something was in the works — and then LBJ was spotted with Anthony at dinner just a day later.

Worthy tells us he supports making the move happen … saying Anthony would bring something to the Lakers that they currently lack.

“I think Carmelo has proven that he’s an outstanding shooter,” Worthy says … “Kind of what we need!”

But … for as much as Worthy respects Melo’s game — he ain’t so sure Anthony is the missing piece for LBJ to win a ring THIS season.

Worthy says that will probably need to come this offseason … and ya gotta hear how many ‘ships he’s predicting for Bron if the right piece joins up in free agency this summer!!

LeBron James Sends Message To Magic Johnson ‘I’ve Always Wanted To Play Along Melo’

Breaking News

LeBron James ain’t the GM of the Lakers … but it sure seems like he sent a message to the guy who is Tuesday night, saying, “I’ve always wanted to play along Melo.”

Of course … rumors of Carmelo Anthony teaming up with LBJ in Los Angeles have been smoldering ever since John Salley told TMZ Sports it could happen.

Those rumors weren’t quieted when Bron and Melo were spotted on a double date with their wives at an NYC steakhouse Monday night.

And, on Tuesday, Bron seemed to send a clear message to Magic Johnson after L.A.’s loss to the Nets that if he can make the Carmelo move happen, LBJ would be a happy man.

“I don’t run the team. And, obviously there’s some things that would need to be worked on both sides,” LeBron told reporters in the postgame locker room.

“But, I’ve always wanted to play along Melo and if the opportunity presents itself, it’d be great. So, we’ll see what happens.”

Translation … make it happen, Magic!!!
