Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian: Married!

Game, set, match and championship … Serena Williams just served up a huge wedding ring and won the Grand Slam of life. Or something.

Mailed-in tennis jokes aside, Williams, 36, and new husband Alexis Ohanian, 34, have tied the knot. They are now husband and wife!

Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, and Williams, the greatest tennis star of all time, wed at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans.

The Williams-Ohanian wedding ceremony comes just 11 weeks after the duo welcomed their baby girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., on.

They began dating in 2015 and got engaged in 2016.

The wedding did not lack for star power. Beyonce was there. Enough said. So was Kim Kardashian, who is also close with the athlete.

Eva Longoria and José Bastón, and fellow tennis star Caroline Wozniacki with her fiancé, NBA star David Lee, were also among attendees.

They kept the wedding on the DL, as much as one can when Beyonce is coming, but crews were seen setting the scene on Thursday.

Shortly before the big wedding, Williams’ longtime coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, wished the couple a “very happy wedding” on Instagram.

Since they went public with their engagement in December, the celebrities haven’t been shy about showing their love on social media.

Ohanian first hinted at their relationship at the 2015 U.S. Open, when he cheered on Williams and shared an Instagram photo captioned:

“Come at the queen, you best not miss. #USOpen.”

(Williams lost in the semifinals in what was considered one of the biggest upsets of all time, but she remains the GOAT, don’t be mistaken.)

With 23 (!) Grand Slam singles titles to date, her career is already legendary – and now she has a beloved partner to truly share it with.

She penned this poem about his proposal last winter:

“I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’”

“Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance,” she wrote. “But by choice.”

“Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”

Williams did not reveal what those four words were, but some things speak for themselves … even we can probably piece that together.

Ohanian commented on the post, along with hundreds of other Reddit users, writing, “And you made me the happiest man on the planet.”

So his Reddit fans and community, he added:

“Thank you all for the kind words. Especially from all my Armenian brothers and sisters debating when they can claim Serena as Armenian.”

Williams later gushed about Ohanian at the Australian Open this past January, saying, “He’s incredibly … a really nice person.”

“I think he definitely treats everyone the same, which is really cool to see,” she added, repeating, “really, really nice to see.”

In April, Williams dropped a bombshell by revealing she was 20 weeks pregnant on Snapchat, and the rest is history.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: Getting Married Again!

Ryan Edwards has been married to Mackenzie Standifer for six months now.

And what a wild and crazy ride it has been.

From the drugged-up drive to their first wedding to the fact that their first wedding was in a parking lot down by the river to Ryan's Tinder cheating scandal …

There's so much drama we barely even know where to start.

But since Ryan and Mackenzie are having their second wedding this weekend — the real wedding that they'd been planning before that abrupt decision to get hitched in the parking lot — we have to try!

Ryan edwards high
For a very, very long time — the entirety of his relationship with Mackenzie, even — Teen Mom OG fans noticed that Ryan looked pretty odd on the show.

2. Up to No Good

Ryan edwards gun pic
In addition to looking high as a kite 100% of the time, Ryan got into trouble for murdering a bunch of cats. For real. This is the beginning of the fairy tale love story of Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer.

3. Meet Mackenzie

Mackenzie standifer screen cap
Right around the same time that Ryan was getting into trouble for killing those cats — and pretty much immediately after she filed for divorce from her first husband — he met Mackenzie.

4. Moving Fast

… And then pretty much immediately after the divorce was finalized, Ryan proposed. Did we mention that Mackenzie was only 19 years old at this time? Because that feels like an important thing to mention.

5. Bad News

A few months after Ryan and Mackenzie got engaged, Maci Bookout began opening up about his issues on Teen Mom OG. She started out by hinting that she was scared for his safety before finally breaking down about his drug addiction while on vacation with Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood.

6. Moving Faster

Though they’d been planning a wedding for November, Ryan and Mackenzie decided to go ahead and get hitched in May because, as she explained it, it would help them in their custody case against Maci for Bentley. It didn’t make too much sense, especially since their custody hasn’t changed since then, but that’s their story and they’re sticking to it.

Jordin Sparks: Pregnant! And Married!

Give Jordin Sparks credit:

She doesn’t make celebrity gossip headlines very often.

But when she does, the former American Idol champion sure makes major ones!

In this case, Sparks has actually made a pair of major headlines:

  1. She’s married!
  2. She’s pregnant!

Heck, we didn’t even know she was seeing anyone.

According to People Magazine, however, Sparks got married to Dana Isaiah in mid-July after having met the 25-year old a just few months earlier.

In pursuit of a modeling career, Isaiah moved to Los Angeles earlier this year and was placed in touch with Sparks by his mother after she was introduced to the singer during Super Bowl week in Houston.

The pair quickly bonded over their close families and strong Christian faith.

They talked and texted often, but didn’t actually meet until Easter Weekend.

“A couple days after we had actually met, I was like in my head ‘That’s going to be my husband! That’s my husband right there,’” Sparks tells People, adding:

“When I’m with him, I feel comfort and safety and calm and peace, and those aren’t things that I normally felt.

“So it was a little wake-up call for me.”

True to their faith, Sparks and Isaiah did not live together until they were Husband and Wife.

On July 16, the couple eloped while on vacation in Hawaii.

Only a small group of friends was present for the ceremony.

“It just more solidifies the whole team sentiment of a relationship,” says Sparks.

“You know you’re still individuals, but at the same time everything is about ‘we’ and ‘us’ as opposed to ‘you’ and ‘I.’”

Sparks, one of the more famous virgins in America, then received the shock of a lifetime in late August when she discovered she was pregnant.

The development came just a year or so after she swore off dating entirely following a few public romances and break-ups, most notably from Jason Derulo.

“I’d gone through a crazy time last year, so I was just like ‘You know what? I’m good. I’m going to stay single. I’m just not going to look,’” explains Sparks.

“It’s amazing that that phrase ‘When you don’t look for it, that’s when it comes’ … he just showed up at my door.”

Concludes the thankful star:

“I’m extremely grateful because life is nuts.

“This is the best part so far because I have [Dana] and I have this little one and I have a new family.

“I’m the most content I’ve ever been in my life.”

Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: Getting Married This Weekend! Again!

Troubled Teen Mom OG cast member Ryan Edwards is getting married to Mackenzie Standifer this weekend, according to a new report.

It can’t be any more awkward than last time.

Back in May, as you clearly remember (how could you ever forget if you watch Teen Mom OG online), Ryan and Mackenzie made it official.

The only witnesses:

Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry Edwards, an MTV film crew and millions of viewers at home who saw some disturbing dashcam footage.

As Ryan Edwards drove high to his own wedding, fans were up in arms over how Mackenzie – or the network – could ever permit that.

Before Standifer pulled the plug on the dashcam, Ryan could be seen driving the car while so out of it he seemed barely awake at times.

Not surprisingly, observers widely questioned the validity (or at least the sanity) of the bizarre parking lot wedding that followed soon after.

Edwards, who shares son Bentley with Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, felt his efforts to win more custody would be aided by a marriage.

The logic of that is debatable – and likely hindered by the MTV footage in question – but that was allegedly why they rushed the nuptials.

Then Mackenzie blamed Maci for almost killing Ryan (not literally, but indirectly through her actions) and the whole thing was just a mess.

If Standifer and Edwards’ union got off to a rough start, it got worse, with Edwards busted sending d–k pics on Tinder to random girls.

And yet, six months later, they have weathered the storm, and according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, are ready to do it up right:

They’re getting hitched on Saturday!

Ryan and Mackenzie will be saying “I do” (again) in their hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn., with actual guests there to see it this time.

Unlike their first ceremony, Ryan’s son Bentley and Mackenzie’s son Hudson, as well as a bridal party, will watch them exchange vows.

Yes, MTV will film round two as well.

“They will be filming at the wedding, and a crew has been there capturing the pre-wedding stuff too,” The Ashley’s source tells the site.

“For awhile [production] wasn’t sure if Ryan and Mackenzie would allow the wedding to be filmed,” apparently, given their recent history.

“They declined to come to Los Angeles to film the special with the rest of the cast in October, and some other things. But they are filming it.”

It’s not clear if Maci Bookout will be attending, though there’s no doubt Maci’s reactions to the wedding will be a major topic this season.

Mackenzie and Ryan, as we said, have been struggling in their marriage after Edwards was released from rehab and going on Tinder.

While newlywed Ryan trying to bang other girls technically doesn’t concern her, it’s no shock that Maci feels he can’t be trusted as a result.

That incident, of course, opened up a can of worms, with Bookout and Edwards feuding and Ryan and Mackenzie on the brink of divorce.

At one point, Ryan even blocked Mackenzie’s number and told members of the crew and production team that he planned to file for divorce.

Didn’t happen, though.

To the surprise of many fans, Standifer stood by Edwards‘ side, even in the wake of what had to be a most humiliating ordeal.

While Standifer made a grand public display of loyalty to Edwards with the photo above, she was clearly reeling – and furious.

“Please stop playing dumb. … I know everything,” Standifer told Ryan’s Tinder girl, further instructing her, “I want you to stop.”

When the Tinder match, whose photos have not been released, asked what she would like her to “stop,” Standifer threatened:

“Guess we will have to do this the hard way.”

It’s not clear what that means, or how Mackenzie dealt with her – or Ryan for that matter. But clearly things have progressed positively.

Just a short time, later, the Teen Mom couple has evidently worked through their issues and the (second) wedding is just days away.

Think it’ll last? Stay tuned.

Woman Who Married Her Own Mother: I’m Guilty!

Patricia Spann and Misty Spann got married. They're also mother and daughter.

You would think that a story about a mother and daughter who married each other wouldn't get any more bonkers than it already is.

But in this case, their super creepy marriage is only part of the story, as you'll see in the video below.

Patricia and misty spann mugshots

According to records, 42-year-old Patricia Spann married 25-year-old Misty Velvet Dawn Spann last year.

Misty is Patricia's daughter.

So it's super gross already. The details, however, make this even weirder than you'd think.

First of all, though they were allowed to marry, their marriage isn't legal because Oklahoma law definitely doesn't allow you to marry your kids.

Maybe the two most important things for you to know about these two are:

Misty is the one who turned her mother (and herself) in, and has been sentenced to 10 years of probation after entering a guilty plea.

(Under state law, felony incest can result in a lengthy prison sentence)

The other thing that you need to know?

Misty isn't even the first of Patricia's children whom Patricia's married.

Patricia and misty spann

Patricia had previously married her son, Jody Spann Jr, in 2008.

That marriage was annulled in 2010. Would you care to guess why?

Patricia was the birth mother of both of them, but lost custody of them when they were young. Only in adulthood were they reunited.

Now, Patricia said that her relationship with Jody Spann Jr was in order to prevent him from being deployed. (We have no idea what kind of ridiculous logic is behind that, as members of the military with spouses are deployed all of the time)

With Misty, Patricia found another reason to marry her child — an alleged desire to adopt.

One, that sounds horrifying as she had already proven so unfit that her natural-born children were taken away.

Two, anybody's who thinks that marrying their child makes them a better candidate for adoption does not need to be caring for so much as a houseplant.

Three, police don't buy that as Patricia's motive, and believe that she may have been trying to defraud the state into giving her more benefits.

By the way, Cody Spann — the son whom she didn't marry — has been vocal and public about his disgust at Patricia, and believes that she forced Misty into it.

Whatever you might think about Daenerys and Jon Snow hooking up on Game of Thrones, we all hopefully understand that real-life incest is almost never like that.

Most real-life incest takes one of two forms.

The first is the most common and upsetting, and that's child-abuse. It happens when parents (or other relatives) sexually abuse their children.

The second, which has only really begun to gain attention during the past few years, is adult parent-child relationships that occur between parents and children who have either neither met or have been separated for a very long time.

This latter group is gross but less obviously upsetting, and the result of what's called genetic attraction. See, human instinct is to feel a deep bond of affection for close family members combined with a learned feeling of revulsion that prevents people from seeing each other sexually.

So it is believed that some people who meet their parents as adults may feel an instant sense of sexual attraction.

We've read a number of (gross!) stories over the years of people confessing, often anonymously. Most often, it seems to be daughters who in their 20s met their fathers for the first time and quickly began a sexual relationship.

In the case of Patricia Spann, it sounds like these marriages are also a means to an end … but there may be real elements of that genetic attraction scenario at play, even if they might be one-sided.

Misty and patricia spann

Patricia's trial isn't until January, but it's likely that they'll dig into records to see how she may have used her marriages for financial gain.

And you can bet that her now annulled marriage to her son is going to come up.

This story is sensational, but a good reminder of a couple of things:

No matter how we feel about relationships in Game of Thrones or other fiction, we shouldn't romanticize incest. In real life, it's always gross and usually abusive.

Different states have different laws, folks. Most of them specifically outlaw incest.

(And no, we have no idea why they both are so often pictured in Superman shirts)

Dean McDermott: I Never Should’ve Married Tori Spelling!

We generally don’t hear much in the way of good news coming from the troubled marriage of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott.

The tabloid obsession with the couple began back in 2013 amidst allegations that McDermott had cheated on Spelling with a woman named Emily Goodhand.

The interest hasn’t let up in the years since, despite the very real possibility that Goodhand doesn’t exist, and Tori and Dean made up the affair for publicity.

Fortunately for the, Spelling-McDermotts, 2017 has been loaded with legitmate misfortune, thus sparing them the burden of having to pretend their lives suck.

First, Tori and Dean went broke and were forced to suffer the indignity of selling their lavish mansion in Calabasas and relocating to a rental home in considerably less-posh Encino.

That was followed by Tori burning her hand by falling and landing on a hibachi at Benihana, which is a situation that it’s okay to laugh at, because she wasn’t seriously injured.

If you thought that was the end of Tori and Dean’s misfortune, you don’t know the McDermotts!

It turns out creditors aren’t the only ones Tori and Dean have been evading while taking trips and going on shopping sprees.

According to his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, Dean hasn’t been paying child support for his teenage son from his first marriage.

So not only is she suing Dean, Mary Jo is also giving interviews in which she claims that her ex recently confessed that he regrets leaving her form Spelling back in 2006.

“A year and a half ago, Dean confessed to me that he had made a mistake and he wondered what his life would be like if he had he stayed with me,” Eustace recently told UK tabloid The Daily Mail.

“He said, ‘Do I love Tori? Yeah. But I’ve thrown my life away.’ It was the most bizarre conversation ever. It made me feel irritated. I don’t want any more drama. It was crazy, extreme behavior.”

Eustace has a much healthier relationship with the truth than either Tori or Dean, so we’re inclined to believe her.

What not sure what her endgame is here, but we’re guessing she wouldn’t mind receiving a long overdue child support check from Mr. McDermott.

Take the hint, Dean!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth: Married? Like, Right Now?!?

Wait… there went the bride?!?

Yes, according to a new report about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

NW Magazine, a publication that stems from the actor’s home nation of Australia, alleges that Miley and Liam actually exchanged vows six months ago.

“It was a very intimate ceremony at their house in Malibu,” an insider tells the publication, staring that vows were exchanged in late April and adding:

“I’m told only a handful of people were there and they’re still the only ones who know.”

Well… not anymore!

Miley and Liam don’t plan on going public with their status as Husband and Wife any time soon, so this report may go unverified for awhile.

The singer and actor actually vacationed recently at Tybee Island in Georgia, which is where they filmed The Last Song way back in 2009.

It was on this movie set that Hemsworth and Cyrus fell in love.

The two got engaged after several months of dating, only to break up in 2013.

They remained broken up for over a year, yet sources slowly started leaking after awhile that the pair had found their way back to each other.

In January of 2016, meanwhile, Miley suddenly started wearing an engagement ring in public.

Neither she nor Hemsworth confirmed that any question had been popped, however.

Not that this has prevented several celebrity gossip outlets from claiming the couple had quietly gone off and gotten married.

This is really just the latest example of a tabloid announcing on its own that a wedding has taken place.

It is true, however, that Cyrus and Hemsworth are now fully out on the open.

For awhile there, the stars barely walked any red carpets together and refrained from even sharing Instagram pictures of each other.

But that changed many months ago.

Now, Miley and Liam frequently act all goofy on social media and even discuss their sex lives with talk show hosts!

“It’s good for people to have that space to grow individually. Otherwise, when you’re with someone from 16 until 24, you grow into the same person,” Cyrus has said in the past of she, Liam and their hiatus.

Now, “it feels like nothing changed except we grew up a lot,” she added back then.

And, hey, one more thing may have also changed, if this report is accurate:

Each star’s marital status!
