Audrey Roloff Writes a Lot About God in Order to Make Money

Audrey Roloff says you should get off social media in order to go on a truly meaningful adventure.

She offered these words of wisdom on social media.

Indeed, the Little People, Big World star has once again taken to Instagram in order to dole out some heartfelt life advice.

This is something she does VERY often.

And it’s starting to generate some major backlash for Roloff because she always ends her messages with a link to her online store or to some kind of sponsor.

Should Audrey really be profiting off her faith in such a manner?

This is once again a topic for discussion because Roloff may have just set a record for longest-ever Instagram caption, including with the above photo some seriously profound words.

“Adventure – I think we’ve made this word into a bit of a cliché. We long to have a life full of adventure, but what does that even mean?” asks Audrey to open her caption.

Sit back, get comfortable and put on a pot of coffee.

Because Audrey has a lot more to say on this random topic.

“Social media has made us increasingly obsessed with the idea of adventure, while mistaking true adventure for pursuing our own desires and passions,” she explains, adding:

“But as Christ followers, we should be willing to embark on God-given adventures, rather than pursuing our own whims.

“God-given adventure isn’t something we fall into or even something that we choose – it’s a calling God invites us to unearth, live out, and accomplish.”

One simply has to note the irony of criticizing the “idea of adventure” via social media while writing on social media, right?

Continues Roloff:

“Adventure is defined as, “an exciting or remarkable experience; the exploration of unknown territory, often involving risk.” Adventure is synonymous with earnestly walking with Jesus and following His will for our lives.

“It involves excitement, experience, exploration, uncertainty, and risk!”

Got it?

Taking notes, readers?

We hope you’re ready for more…

All these things put together bring us to a deeper dependence on the living God and a wholehearted trust in His will for us.

Consider Noah in the story of the Ark. God called Noah to a seemingly irrational and preposterous adventure. He gave Noah specific instructions to build an ark in preparation for a devastating flood.

God chose Noah because he was righteous and obedient when everyone around him was corrupt and following their selfish desires (Genesis 6:8).

How is this related to Roloff’s larger point?

She’s happy to tell you…

This was a hefty task, not a spontaneous pursuit that Noah whimsically enjoyed, like a last minute road trip. No.

Building the ark required Noah to learn, plan, and sacrifice his time and finances, while also enduring eye-rolling disrespect and ridicule from everyone who watched him build a giant boat in his front yard.

The adventure God called Noah to wasn’t something his friends enviously oohed-and-aahed at.

On a roll at this point, Roloff brought her entry home as follows:

The thing about God-given adventures is that they often seem ludicrous… Yet His eyes search the whole earth for people—like you and me – who are fully committed, ready for the adventures God has in store for them!

Have you written-off a God-given adventure as impossible, illogical, or irrational?

And if Audrey had ended things there, she may have left followers with a lot to ponder.

Instead, however, she concluded:

I wrote this devotional for the 2018 @anchoredpress weekly devo/ planner!

And there it is.

Audrey just mentioned a devotional planner that is sale via Anchored Press and which we’d simply have to imagine paid her money to do so.

Does this mean she’s a hypocrite and isn’t a true believer? No. Not necessarily.

But how would Jesus feel about a disciple trying to profit off His name? By quoting a bible passage in one sentence and following it up with a link to a store in the next sentence?

It’s something to think about, isn’t it?

Certainly it’s more to think about than the “adventure” debate Audrey poses above, wouldn’t you say?

Blac Chyna: A Protective Order Against Rob Shouldn’t Cost Me My Job!

The Kardashians and Blac Chyna, through the precious and innocent Dream Kardashian, will always be linked. Right now, they’re also linked through a couple of major legal battles.

You know how the Kardashians are saying that it’s Blac Chyna’s own fault that her reality career didn’t take off, because her restraining order made it impossible to film scenes with Rob?

Well, Blac Chyna thinks that the argument is hogwash (not her word) and sends a horrible message to survivors of abuse.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian both accuse each other of drug-fueled violence, which is honestly pretty horrifying on its own.

(Domestic violence should never happen, folks)

Blac Chyna claims that she was only violent in self-defense, while Rob claims that she went on a destructive rampage that caused about $ 100,000 in damages to the house he was renting from his sister Kylie.

These very serious accusations aren’t just a huge factor in why the infamous couple broke up.

They’re also a huge factor in Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against the Kardashian family.

See, Chyna is suing the family, claiming that they blacklisted her with E! and killed her potential reality career, starting with the show that she had with Rob.

She’s reportedly seeking a 7-figure amount in compensation for what she could have made in wages and also what she could have made in endorsements.

Apparently, however, the Kardashians aren’t worried about Blac Chyna’s lawsuit … because they claim that it’s Chyna’s own fault that her show got canceled.

Those domestic violence accusations we mentioned?

They included a restraining order against Rob Kardashian. He couldn’t go near her because, well, Chyna was afraid of what he might do.

The Kardashian argument seems to be that the show’s cancellation wasn’t part of some conspiracy, but simply because two stars can’t film a show (not easily, anyway) if one has a restraining order against the other.

At the very least, they can’t film scenes together like that.

TMZ reported that the Kardashian team was making that argument, and is now reporting exactly what Chyna thinks of it.

Apparently … she’s not a fan.

In fact, Blac Chyna reportedly believes that this sends a message that women who suffer domestic violence like she did shouldn’t get a protective order, or it might later be used against them.

While her circumstances — filming a reality series with her baby daddy who became her alleged abuser — are pretty unusual, there are plenty of women who work with their partners.

Should our world be one in which women who get protective orders against their abusers have to fear professional consequences?

What if a woman gets a restraining order from her husband and, say, the office job where they both work fires her in order to resolve the problem of their cubicles being too close?

At least, that’s what we think that Chyna is getting at.

Of course, TMZ notes that there’s arguably one hiccup with Blac Chyna’s argument.

She dropped her order of protection after she won big time in her custody fight.

So … it might appear that, by example, she’s promoting the use of restraining orders as a bargaining chip.

But maybe she dropped it as a sign of good faith, in the hopes that Rob is no longer a threat to her.

And to make custody trade-offs a little easier between the two.

Not everything has to be a calculated ploy, right?

Not even when we’re talking about Blac Chyna’s legal struggle with the Kardashians.

Adam Lind: Legal Troubles Continue as Stasia Huber Is Granted Restraining Order

Even when he’s already behind bars, Adam Lind manages to find new and creative ways to get in trouble with the law.

Earlier this week, Lind was arrested for allegedly violating an order of protection attained by an ex-girlfriend.

While Lind was being held without bail in a South Dakota jail, a restraining order against him was granted to a different ex, Stasia Huber.

News of Lind’s latest legal trouble comes courtesy of Radar Online.

The site reports that Lind will be forbidden to make any sort of contact with Huber for a period of five years.

“The judge granted the protection order for Stasia against Adam,” the Clerk of Court for Minnehaha County Circuit Court tells Radar Online.

“It is for five years.”

Because he was behind bars at the time, Lind did not attend the hearing.

“Because he wasn’t there it was granted,” says one insider.

“She still wanted to go through with it.”

In court documents filed last month, Huber provided a shocking account of Lind’s violent and abusive behavior.

“While under the influence of drugs, alcohol and steroids, he fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone and once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER,” she wrote.

“We broke up for a while after that,” Huber added, noting that shortly thereafter, she and Lind separated for good.

This is just the latest in a long line of legal troubles for the troubled Teen Mom 2 star.

Back in June, Lind tested positive for methamphetamines just prior to a scheduled visit with his youngest daughter.

Lind has refused to check into rehab, despite frequent pleas from his loved ones and legal counsel.

Though she has yet to challenge his visitation rights, Lind’s ex Chelsea Houska has taken steps to ensure that he will not be permitted to drive with their daughter in the car.

It’s unclear what will happen to Adam from here, but it looks as though a stint behind bars may be in his near future.

Watch Teen Mom 2 online to be reminded of just how egregious Lind’s behavior has been over the years.
