Luann de Lesseps Returns to Rehab, Will Miss Reunion Special

As previously previewed, The Real Housewives of New York City are getting ready to set sail on the boat trip from Hell.

But People Magazine now confirms that Luann de Lesseps is getting ready for a very different, far more important kind of trip:

She is checking back into rehab.

The 53-year-old will be seeking help for the second time after attending an alcohol treatment program last year, following her arrest for some very drunken and ugly behavior in Florida.

Bethenny Frankel actually confirmed the development to People.

She told the publication that Luann considers the problem so serious that she must begin addressing it immediately and will therefore miss the upcoming Season10 reunion special.

“This weekend, Luann was surrounded by her girlfriends and decided – with their support – that in light of recent circumstances, it is the healthiest choice for her not to attend Tuesday’s reunion taping so that she can continue in her healing process,” Frankel explains, adding:

“Luann is now surrounded by a core group of people who truly have her best interests at heart and who are working to make sure she gets the help she needs.”

Concluded Frankel:

“Bravo has been very supportive of Luann during this time.

“It’s a brave and honest decision by her, and everyone is rallying around her and wants the best for her.”

The long-time reality star was arrested just before Christmas for allegedly kicking a police officer.

Reportedly very drunk at the time of the incident, Luann reacted to a confrontation with cops in a Florida hotel room by screaming that she would “kill” them all and by violently attacking at least one officer, according to reports.

She was booked on the charges of battery on a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest with violence; corruption by threat.

Just days later, Luann checked into rehab for the first time.

“After the events of last Saturday night in Palm Beach, I am truly embarrassed,” said de Lesseps at the time.

“I have decided to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center. I intend to turn this unfortunate incident into a positive life changing event.

“Once again, I sincerely apologize for my actions. I have the greatest respect for police officers and the job they do.

“My actions alleged in the police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character.”

This is her mug shot from the arrest:

In this instance, her cable network home has said the following:

Bravo supports Luann’s decision to focus on her health.

“She is part of the Bravo family and we continue to stand by her as she copes with this challenging situation. At this time, we hope everyone will respect her privacy.”

Her decision to return to rehab comes days after news broke that her first husband, Alexandre de Lesseps, her daughter, Victoria de Lesseps, and son, Noel de Lesseps, filed a lawsuit against her over an $ 8 million home sale.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Luann breached a stipulation of settlement in her divorce by failing to create a trust “for the benefit of her two children.”

Frankel acknowledges that such “family stress” has served as a “catalyst” for her co-star to realize she needs help.

We wish Luann the best of luck.

Stevie J: Did He Attack Erica Mena at the Reunion? Will He Be Fired?

Well, no part of this story is okay.

Multiple reports say that something heated and nasty went down att he filming of the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion. Stevie J is accused of assaulting Erica Mena, among other things.

Is Stevie J about to get fired?

It sounds like Stevie J being a deadbeat dad isn't the worst thing about him.

(Actually that's not exactly a surprise; as the youths would say: we been knew)

BET reports that Stevie J went on a nasty tirade at the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion.

Their report said that things "got extremely intense," which echoes sentiments from multiple other sources about the reunion.

Not only did he say vile things about Erica Mena, but he reportedly said some truly despicable things about her 11-year-old son.

Things "came to a new level of petty when Stevie allegedly called [Erica]’s son King Conde a ‘f–got’ in response to severe shade Mena threw his way."

Hey, if you're a reality star, you feud with your fellow reality stars. You don't throw anti-gay slurs at an 11-year-old.

At least one report says that Erica responded by slapping Stevie J.

(We would never want to encourage violence, but we will say that her outrage is understandable)

This is reportedly when things went from bad to worse.

According to reports, Stevie J responded with a violent assault.

Atlanta Black Star reports that "security had to pull the 46-year-old off [Erica]."

Stevie J "was then asked to leave the building."

Reports say that he is currently "banned from attending any" events for the series while producers conduct an investigation.

He "is reportedly on the brink of getting fired."

In a now-deleted video that we have included with this post, Erica Mena seemed to allude to these events.

"Stevie J's a B–CH and he likes to fight girls."

Throughout the video, she seems to be seething with anger, barely contained behind a facade.

One can absolutely understand her anger if all of the reports that we have heard are true.

She would be furious after his alleged physical assault.

She would also be fuming that he said such vile things, particularly about her young son.

If Erica did strike him, that would have given Stevie J grounds to complain or press charges — but not to attack her.

Sadly, this is not even the first time that Stevie J has expressed anti-gay sentiments against a fellow cast member.

Back in Season 5, he objected to Mimi Faust dating a woman.

He said at the time that he didn't want his daughter being "raised in a lesbian household."

(Mimi Faust explained that she's not a lesbian, but honestly, that doesn't begin to cover Stevie J's statement)

It seemed at the time that he walked back those sentiments.

If he's hurling anti-gay slurs around at children when he gets angry, however, it sounds like the underlying bigotry still lingers.

Along with some alleged and worrisome violent impulses.

Stevie J has gotten away with bad behavior before.

But sometimes, there's a final straw. An alleged physical attack upon a costar following a vitriolic tirade sounds like it might qualify.

Besides, recently, the culture is becoming less permissive when it comes to inexcusable behavior by celebrities that directly harms others.

(Slowly but surely, anyway)

Stevie J may have just cost himself his reality career.

But we'll see what the investigation concludes. Right now, we only have reports to go on.

Chelsea Houska: Teen Mom 2 Reunion Shows Are THE WORST!

These days, when we think of Teen Mom 2 we basically think of a violent talk show that can only be described as Springer-esque.

At this point, it’s difficult to even recall the series’ quaint beginnings, a time when fans tuned in to enjoy everything promised by the title — namely, a sequel to a previous series that was also about the challenges of parenting as an adolescent.

Of course, it’s no accident that producers have chosen to switch the focus to the ever-intensifying feuds among cast members.

Drama sells, and as such, the TM2 reunions shows — that were once a fun opportunity to catch up on what the cast has been up to in the weeks since filming wrapped — have come to devour the rest of the season.

Now, reunion shows are the dramatic tentpole that props up the entire season.

Conflicts begin at the tapings in New York, and — much less often — they’re resolved there.

After the taping, the cast members return to their home states where tensions simmer for several months, and when they make their return to Manhattan the ladies are once again ready to throw down.

Obviously, viewers enjoy the new format, as reunion shows used to take place over the course of one hour, and now they encompass several episodes.

But not everyone in the cast is comfortable with the show’s new direction.

In recent weeks, Chelsea Houska has made it clear that this isn’t the kind of experience she signed on for.

She’s even taken to social media to complain about the gradual change in the focus of the series, complaining that Teen Mom 2 “isn’t about being a mom anymore.”

There’s been talk of Chelsea quitting the show, but it seems she’s not willing to go quite that far — yet.

Currently, Houska is pregnant with her third child, and she left the most recent taping ahead of schedule due to violence among cast members.

Now, a newly-released deleted scene shows that Chelsea and her husband, Cole DeBoer, have been fed up with the reunion show scene for quite some time.

“The reunion was a disaster,” Chelsea tells Cole and her father, Randy Houska, having recently returned from a taping in New York.

“That’s not our life,” Cole echoes.

“I mean, that’s what’s sad: there’s kids that think that’s normal,” Randy opines, always happy to throw a bit of shade.

“Because another time when Kail and — I don’t know if it was Briana or her sister — one of them was coming down the hallway and I had stepped out in the hallway with the baby,” Chelsea recalls in the scene,

“I…just went back in my room because I was, like, “Oh my god! I can’t even leave my room?!”

We think it’s safe to say Chelsea won’t be returning for too many future sessions with Dr. Drew.

Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus Come to ACTUAL Blows at Teen Mom 2 Reunion

Earlier this month, we wrote about how Kailyn Lowry went on the attack against Briana DeJesus on an episode of Teen Mom 2.

But we were being a bit hyperbolic at the time.

Javi Marroquin's ex-wife didn't literally attack Javi Marroquin's ex-girlfriend.

Now, however, we need not make such a qualification.

According to multiple reports, Kailyn and Briana came to actual, physical blows during Saturday's taping of this season's Teen Mom 2 reunion.

Who started it? Who ended it? What are witnesses saying about it?

Scroll down for all the ugly and intriguing details!

1. Some Quick Background:

Kailyn lowry strolls
Lowry and Marroquin got divorced in 2016. They share a son named Lincoln together. And, after a whole bunch of tension between the stars for many months, the exes actually now on solid terms.

2. Enter DeJesus…

Briana dejesus on twitter
Briana started dating Javi toward the end of last year. She and Marroquin weren’t very candid with Kailyn about their romance and some understandable awkwardness ensured between the trio.

3. But Now?

Briana and javi make it official
Briana and Javi are broken up. Their relationship only last a few months and seemed to have ended on decent enough terms. The two are not bad-mouthing each other in public.

4. Here’s the Thing, Though:

Happy javi
This season of Teen Mom 2 was filmed a long time ago. Therefore, current episodes depict Briana and Javi as an ongoing couple and also give us a look at Lowry’s reaction to their hook-up.

5. And What Has Briana’s Reaction Been to Seeing This?

It has not been positive, that’s for sure. The MTV personality recently blasted Lowry for being obsessed with her. Things are pretty ugly between the pair.

Jenelle Evans Refuses to Show Up for Teen Mom 2 Reunion: Will She Be Fired?

Jenelle Evans … well, she’s going through kind of a hard time right now.

It’s bad. It’s real bad.

Whatever’s going on with her, it’s been going on for a very long time, and honestly, it’s hard to say if it’s something new or just her general shortcomings.

We do know that when she gave birth to her daughter Ensley in January of 2017, the baby had marijuana in her system, meaning that Jenelle had smoked while pregnant.

We also know that the drug test resulted in a investigation from child protective services.

They visited the Eason home multiple times, but the case was ultimately closed, reportedly because Jenelle was able to get a medical marijuana card in California.

That doesn’t make sense at all — she lives in North Carolina, and that state doesn’t recognize medical cards — but that’s apparently what happened.

Either way, the case was closed, but more issues popped up with Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris, tried to get emergency custody of Kaiser.

In court documents, Doris claimed that Jenelle and David were abusing and neglecting Kaiser, and that the boy had even told her that David had punched him in the head.

She also said that Jenelle was fond of locking all the kids outside during the day, which isn’t great in any case, but it’s especially concerning since Doris then alleged that Jace had gotten lost in the woods for hours one day.

Oh, in between those two things, Jenelle also lost her big custody case with her mother Barbara over Jace — Barb got permanent custody while Jenelle got some visitation.

Throughout all that, she began feuding with her fellow Teen Mom 2 cast members, more than usual, even.

Kailyn Lowry is pretty much her mortal enemy now, and so is Leah Messer. She’s had issues with Chelsea Houska for a while.

The only cast member she’s cool with is Briana DeJesus, probably because she’s super messy, too.

What else … David got fired from the show, and a lot of people think she should be fired, too, that seems important.

There’s a whole lot going on, to say the least.

And then there’s the issue of that terrifying road rage incident from last week.

In case you missed it, or in case you just needed to hear about how crazy the whole thing was one more time, Jenelle got so angry at another driver that she followed him back to his home and pulled a gun on him.

According to her 911 call, a man cut her off and made her hit the brakes so hard that Jace, who was in the front seat, almost got whiplash.

But according to the man and other witnesses, she was driving erratically, and when he passed her she flipped out and followed him back to his house to confront him.

She hit some vehicles on his property as well as a few mailboxes, then threatened him with a gun, all while Jace was in the front seat — some reports claim she had another kid in the back.

So yeah, it’s all terrible, right?

And because of all this, a new report states that Jenelle is refusing to show up for the filming of the Teen Mom 2 reunion special, which is scheduled to film in a few weeks.

An insider claims that “Jenelle has been saying that she doesn’t want to go to the reunion because David isn’t allowed to go.”

“Jenelle doesn’t want to go anywhere without David, and MTV isn’t paying for him to come to the reunion.”

That makes sense — if they fired him, why would they pay for a plane ticket, a hotel, and whatever else MTV provides for the cast during filming?

The source adds that “David is trying to talk her out of going too, manipulating her and telling her that she should just skip it.”

Another good reason she sees to skip it is because “Jenelle hates the other girls, except Briana, and she knows they’re all just going to be sh-tty to her.”

… Maybe because she was sh-tty to them first?

As for MTV’s point of view, the source says that “Jenelle isn’t getting any more special treatment. Her MTV contract says she needs to go to the reunion.”

“Jenelle’s outrageous demands all season have been ignored by MTV and they’re expecting her to show up for the reunion.”

The report points out that she’s been on the verge of getting fired lately, what with the crazy gun incidents, so breaking her contract wouldn’t be the smartest move right now.

So if she does refuse to go, could this finally be the end of her time on Teen Mom 2?!
