Kailyn Lowry Reveals Boob Job, Baby Daddy Drama on Twitter

Kailyn Lowry was supposed to go under the knife this week.

The Teen Mom 2 star traveled to Miami with the intention of undergoing liposuction and a breast augmentation.

At the last second, however, kail decided not to go through with the procedure.

The mother of three revealed all of this in a surprising confession on Twitter earlier today.

“I won’t lie to y’all, I came to Miami for lipo & a boob job. But hours before my surgery I decided I don’t want to go through with it,” she tweeted.

Kail didn’t go into detail with regard to why she changed her mind, but she did open up about what she plans to do next.

“When I get home I’ll use the money I was gonna spend on surgery for a nutritionist & get back into working out,” she wrote.

Naturally, Kail’s mentions blew up with words of encouragement, some unsolicited advice, and yes … plenty of shade.

(This is social media in 2018, after all.)

“Put in work girl! Nothing feels better then you knowing you did it on your own with NO surgeries!” wrote one fan.

“Save your money you DON’T Need a nutritionist, you can do that in your own. I lost 66lbs with just changing what I eat,” remarked another.

A third expressed doubts that Kail had any real plans to pay for the procedure, pointing out that she appears to have struck a deal with famed plastic surgeon Dr. Miami, the same doc who performed Kailyn’s Brazilian butt lift back in 2015:

“Girl you aren’t fooling anyone. Last night you tweeted for people to watch Dr. Miami tomorrow. You was getting that sh-t for free you’re not saving any money,” she tweeted.

We may never know for sure if Kailyn was really planning on paying full price, but we do know her life is even more drama-packed than usual this week.

Yesterday, we reported that Lowry was throwing shade at Chris Lopez on Twitter, and today, she elaborated on the conflict with her baby daddy in a remarkably candid interview:

“I don’t hear from Chris in weeks… when I do it’s always after I tweet something,” she said.

“But if the shoe fits, he can lace that b-tch up.”

Asked what kind of father Lopez has turned out to be, kail replied:

“Chris doesn’t text me or ask about the baby regularly, let alone see him.”

Sounds like Kail won’t have any shortage of storylines for MTV to choose from next season.

Ami Brown Reveals the Truth About Her Cancer

Alaskan Bush People star Ami Brown’s health has seemed to take a turn for the better.

Some fans wonder if her cancer was cured in a Christmas miracle. Others wonder if she ever really had cancer to begin with.

Ami Brown is speaking out directly, for the first time in a long time.

In a new interview with PeopleAmi Brown describes how her battle with cancer has come to, for now, a happy ending.

Of her meeting with her doctor, Ami says:

“I was expecting great news.”

That might make her the only one. Just a few months earlier, Billy Brown had described Ami’s condition as “grim.” And the couple’s youngest daughter, Rain Brown, admitted that she didn’t know if her mom would make it.

But it sounds like Ami knew her own body.

“I could just feel it.”

Ami reveals that “all signs” of the cancer that had spread through her lungs and her back had vanished.

Billy Brown notes that he wasn’t the only one surprised by the good news:

“The doctors were as shocked as we were.”

As you know, cancer treatments like the radiation and chemo that Ami experienced can be hell on the body. Ami found herself unable to eat

She had dropped to 77 pounds, which is a life-threatening weight for an adult.

We’re all happy to hear that Ami is back up to 104 pounds (she’s still tiny, folks), and is once again enjoying midnight snacks.

Ami admits that it’s not all rainbows and roses, or whatever. It’s just better.

“I’m still a little weak and tired and I get a little sickly, but I do some walking around the house now.”

Compared to how things were, though, she’s walking on sunshine.

“My last treatment was December 7 and it took about a month for the pain to go away. It was so bad and the radiation treatment hurt so badly.”

Fighting for your life is agonizing.

“To take a sip of water just hurt so bad and I couldn’t eat anything. It progressed in strength, the hurting.”

A major thing impacted what Ami’s diet.

“I went from [eating] ice cream and mashed potatoes and stuff to [eating] nothing at all. I’d like to develop a protein sucker for people.”

But she’s turned all of that around.

“But now I’m so hungry. I used to not be a big food person but now I am so appreciative of food.”

(Some folks spend every day in anticipation of their next meal, but for others, it’s just a thing that they do. We guess that the latter perspective lends itself better to living in the wilderness)

As for what food Ami is eating now?

“Chicken, salmon, meatloaf, rice, and enchiladas. It was so hard just to get to 80 lbs. and then 90, to actually get to 100 was incredible.”

But let’s be totally clear about this: her cancer is “gone” but remission is not a forever-cure. People who beat cancer face an increased chance of cancer returning.

Ami knows that.

“I have to go in every three months now for the rest of my life and be scanned to see if it’s back or not.”

Four times a year, every year, she’s going to be bracing for the worst possible news.

“It’s going to be a part of my life forever.”

Ami takes the opportunity to speak to her fans about how her faith was a source of comfort during this ordeal.

Like so many reality stars, Ami Brown is a Christian. She says:

“But I want to encourage people to enjoy every moment and walk every moment with God because he knows what it’s about.”

And she has a very succinct piece of advice:

“Never give up faith.”

Maci Bookout Reveals Miscarriage Heartbreak

When it comes to shows like Teen Mom OG, there’s good drama, and there’s bad drama

Good drama is stuff like the feud between Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood–entertaining fluff of no real consequence.

Sadly, it seems that on this week’s episode, viewers will see Maci Bookout endure drama that goes beyond “bad” and into the realm of tragic.

A preview clip from the episode shows Maci and husband Taylor McKinney at dinner, discussing the possibility of expanding their family.

It seems they had previously talked about the possibility of adopting, and both agreed that they wrould prefer to adopt a child in the “4 to 6 age range” rather than an infant.

After the adoption discussion, Maci reluctantly revealed that she would be open to the idea of getting pregnant again,

“If you seriously want to have another baby, then I’ll do it, but I still want to adopt, too,” she told Taylor.

“But if we want to do it naturally, I want to do it, like, now.”

“If we want it to happen, it’s gonna happen like that,” Taylor replied, with a snap of his fingers.

At that point, the tone of the conversation changed abruptly, and a downcast Maci remarked, “You’re forgetting something.”

Taylor sat silent for a moment before meekly excusing himself from the table.

When one of the show’s producers came over to see if Maci was okay, she made a tragic revelation:

“I had a miscarriage,” Bookout said. “Her name is Dande. Dandelion.”

“I don’t want to talk about it,” McKinney interjected.

“I think it’s important for people that are watching that we talk about it,” Maci said.

“I would like to talk to our parents about it first,” Taylor replied.

There’s obviously no rule book for dealing with something like a miscarriage, and both parties make valid points about discussing the matter publicly.

Other women who have suffered miscarriages may find solace in learning that Maci shares their heartbreak, but at the same time, even reality stars are entitled to a modicum of privacy.

It’s terrible that Maci had to endure such a loss, but she’s no doubt serving a needed source of support for those who have suffered in the same way.

Bella Thorne Bravely Reveals Details of Sexual Abuse

“Time’s Up” pins, accessories for the movement of those in Hollywood who look forward to when every single predator is exposed, were everywhere at last night’s Golden Globes.

But not everyone speaking out with #TimesUp messages was at the award show. Bella Thorne was among the actresses who shared a very personal story over social media.

And she’s revealing some chilling details of the sexual abuse that she survived as a child.

About a month ago, Bella Thorne revealed that she’s a survivor of molestation.

The revelation may have seemed casual — issued over Twitter in a terse reply — but we can only imagine the level of bravery that it took for her to send that tweet.

What led to her sharing this with the world was a fairly run-of-the-mill Bella Thorne post, in which she praised an outfit by writing: “I would f–k this suit if I could.”

Someone didn’t care for Bella’s words (if you don’t like her brazen tweets, why are you following her?), and tweeted:

“What did Disney do to this girl? I think she was molested.”

That’s a tasteless tweet for a lot of reasons, managing to malign Bella, all of Disney, and also every survivor of childhood sexual abuse who’s ever lived, all in one go.

And then came Bella’s reply:

“Yeah I was. So it wasn’t Disney.”

That is a real punch to the gut. A grim revelation that must have taken a tremendous amount of courage to share with the world.

And now, in a #TimesUp post to Instagram, Bella Thorne is providing more details about the horrors that she survived.

Bella Thorne wrote:

“I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14..when I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it.”

No one — and particularly no child — should have to stand vigil over their own physical safety. But that’s what Bella did.

“All damn night. Waiting for someone to take advantage of my life again.”

Some kids stop being abused when they get old enough to fight back, or “too old” for their abuser to remain interested. It sounds like Bella had to free herself.

“Over and over I waited for it to stop and finally it did.”

She knows, however, that she is, in our horrible world, one of the “lucky” ones — because she got out and she’s still alive.

“But some of us aren’t as lucky to get out alive. Please today stand up for every soul Mistreated. #timesup”

So Bella is saying here that she is a survivor of both sexual abuse and physical abuse, and that it went on from her earliest memories until what would have been 2011.

That she had to lock her door at night tells us that, like the overwhelming majority of survivors of abuse, the person (or people) who hurt her was known and presumably trusted by the family.

Bella’s not making a plea for pity. She’s sharing her story to encourage others to fight for people who can’t fight for themselves.

And to fight for those who shouldn’t have to fend for themselves.

Our society and our legal system do almost nothing to protect children.

Bella Thorne isn’t the only woman, famous or otherwise, to come forward with a heartbreaking account of the unspeakable being done to her.

The entire #MeToo movement was born of that.

And from #MeToo, which built ties of sympathy and solidarity, came the #TimesUp movement, for survivors and also their friends and supporters to come after those who set about ruining lives.

We hope that anyone who would do the evil things that Bella Thorne reports faces justice, if they have not already.

We hope that all perpetrators do.
