Arrow Season 6 Episode 12 Recap: All For Nothing

The Grim Reaper came calling on Arrow Season 6 Episode 12, but did a character worth caring about die?

When the episode got underway, Cayden James continued to tighten his grip on the residents of Star City.

He had control of most of the city, and not even A.R.G.U.S. managed to help take the villains down.

Oliver and Thea conferred about what the best course of action would be to save as many people as possible.

The best course of action, it seemed, was to create bomb shelters to give the citizens a place to hide if the unthinkable happened.

Oliver and Diggle worked together with the aim of taking down Vigilante, but then Renew Curtis dropped the bomb that Vince was a good egg.

This gave Team Arrow a glimmer of hope as Felicity came to the conclusion that Vince could plant a technological device in in Cayden’s lair to give the details about the mobile bomb.

While Oliver was against using Vince because he’s been doing lots of sketchy things for over a year now, he realized there was no other way, and he had to roll with it.

In an unsurprising turn of events, Vince was caught in action. He thought he fooled his way out of it, but Cayden and Anatoly later captured him.

Dinah was adamant to save Vince because they go way back, and all that jazz. The team could hear him being tortured. Oliver did not want to save Vince because the bomb needed taking care of, but Curtis and Rene stepped up to the challenge.

Just when Dinah caught up with Vince, an explosion lit up the whole venue, and Dinah was left trapped. That’s when Black Siren appeared in all of her villainous glory.

She seemed against killing Vince, but she did so right after Cayden told her, solidifying herself as a villain.

Dinah was mad because she failed to save her man, and that he mostly died for nothing. Felicity found out that the same people who released the picture of Oliver as Arrow edited the video of Oliver killing Cayden’s son.

With this latest twist, Team Arrow is more divided than ever, and Dinah is determined to take down all of those who were involved in the drama in Star City.

Given that Black Siren hesitated, is it fair to assume that she’s thinking of to the good side?

That could be fun because Dinah is not ready to forgive her and will probably want to kill her.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 11 Recap: (Don’t Fear) the Reaper

Miranda Bailey is the glue that keeps all of the characters together on Grey’s Anatomy.

During Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 11, the character found herself at death’s door multiple times.

When the episode got underway, all was right in the world of Miranda. She was dropping her kid off at school, driving to work with Ben, and she was still very much against Ben’s new job.

ICYMI: Ben is heading to the new Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, Station 19. Thus, he will be a firefighter in the original series.

Miranda has struggled with this because she is worried that he goes to work and does not come home. It makes sense, right?

Just when Ben started talking about his day, Miranda checked out and ordered Ben to let her out of the vehicle.

It was bizarre, but we quickly found out the exact reason for her behavior. She made her way to another hospital with symptoms of a heart attack.

If you watch Grey’s Anatomy online, you will already know that Bailey is one of the best in her field, so she knew what she was was right.

Nobody seemed to want to agree that she was taking a heart attack and kept ushering her out of the way.

Then, Dr. Maxwell appeared and wanted to rule it as a mental issue as opposed to a physical issue and ordered a psychiatrist.

Bailey then decided enough was enough and told Maggie to visit her because she needed help.

Maggie arrived, along with Richard who knew there was something wrong because Bailey had never taken a day off.

Fresh off saving the life of the patient next to her, Bailey collapsed. This was confirmation enough for Dr. Maxwell.

After the blockage in her artery was dealt with, Bailey’s pressure started dropping, and it emerged that the deluded Dr. Maxwell had failed to order some follow-up treatment.

Maggie had had enough and demanded to be allowed to perform the surgery. Maxwell agreed because what else could he do?

Bailey realized it was time to let Ben in and she got Maggie to call him. Ben made a run straight to the hospital.

Bailey survived her ordeal, and in the aftermath, Ben said he had quit his new job. Bailey admitted that her stance had changed on it.

Life is too precious to waste doing anything less than what makes us happy,” she said to her lover.

Peppered throughout the hour were flashbacks of Bailey growing up and the struggle she faced moving out of her home.

Her mother was always worried about Bailey getting in trouble, and that was because her sister died at just two months old.

It was a poignant episode that was great at educating the audience about heart attacks.

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 12 Recap: Two Murders Rock the Town

Maybe everyone in Riverdale should just stop sinning.

You would think that all of the drama with the Black Hood would mean everyone in town would stop sinning.

However, that does not appear to be the case and Riverdale Season 2 Episode 12 concluded with two shocking murders.

When the episode got underway, Veronica was preparing for being introduced to the family formally, and Hiram invited Archie to a poker game at Pop’s.

Veronica grew concerned that Archie was getting too close to the family business and tried to warn her boyfriend off of her father.

But Archie was too busy trying to keep the FBI at bay in order to care about all of it. The officer wanted Archie to wear a wire to the big event, but the teenager shut him down.

At the poker game, one of the men tried to make fun of the food, and Archie heard him outside conferring with another gangster about taking Hiram out of the equation right after Veronica’s communion.

Archie managed to tell Hiram in the nick of time, and Hiram put a plan in motion to have him murdered in his hotel room. It worked, but were the Lodges really safe?

The mayor gave the order to have the trailer park struck down that the serpents were living in. Tall Boy tried to blame Jughead and his friends because they were the ones who made the silent protest.

Penny Peabody returned with a vengeance and said she would help out if Jughead was removed from the team and if she got to remove his serpent tattoo.

This put Jughead in a difficult situation: Did he find out who the real villain was that stole the head off the Pickens statue, or did he just allow it to happen?

Thankfully, he and Betty put up flyers for information and someone from a junkyard contacted them. The man confirmed Tall Boy was the one who stole the head.

Jughead confronted him, along with the other serpents who voted to oust him from the group.

Meanwhile, Betty appeared on webcam in an attempt to find the darkness inside of her. She was then shocked to find a man leaving the home and Chic barely dressed.

He told Betty he had a new job at Bijou and was very rude to Betty in the process when she quizzed what was going on.

In the end, a figure appeared at the Cooper residence looking for Chic and the man was murdered a few moments later. Betty returned home to find Alice cleaning up a dead body.

With all of the sinning going on, the Black Hood is definitely going to be making a return trip!

The Flash Season 4 Episode 12 Recap: Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash

What do you do when some of your team has been shrunk by a meta?

That was the thing much of the team questioned on The Flash Season 4 Episode 12 as Barry remained inside Iron Heights.

When the episode got underway, the mayor was proudly introducing the latest R&D facility that was secure against metas, because metas are all about destruction these days.

In a hilarious turn of events, the facility disappeared, and the mayor could only whine about hating the city.

While Joe and Cisco joined forces to find out what was really going on, they were asked by Barry to help him get Big Sir out of prison.

Wells felt like they needed to take it seriously because Barry has not asked for much since he was put in prison.

The meta they were looking for looked similar to Big Sir all those years ago. It was a little too convenient to take seriously, but logic has never stopped The Flash before.

When Ralph, Cisco, and Joe confront Rundin, he makes an exit into the alley below his apartment. That’s when he decided to shrink both Ralph and Cisco.

Ralph thought he could use his powers to help him back to his normal size, but it resulted in him sitting in pain. Wells made a big blunder and actually almost killed the two of them in the quest to save them.

While Barry tried to help Big Sir, the warden reiterated to him that a prisoner was once stabbed to death after unsuccessfully getting someone out.

Rundin tried to shrink Wells, but Cisco and Ralph were inside his pocket and it allowed them to return to full size and fight another day.

Rundin was not amused when he was arrested and refused to confess to the crime from all those years ago.

This meant Big Sir was not getting out of prison, but there was a big twist in store. The warden had installed a security camera in Barry’s cell and had confirmation that he was The Flash.

He hit up Amunet to let her know he had something great for her. Yeah, it looks like Barry is in the meta wing and he’s going to be in a lot of trouble if everyone fails to save him.

Elsewhere, Cecile was shocked that the dark matter in her brain interfered with her pregnancy in a big way.

She could hear the thoughts of other people, and she did not like what she heard.

Does this mean her child is going to have some sort of power?

We’ll need to wait to find out!

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 7 Recap: Birthday Fever

Dorit Kemsley’s feud with Teddi Mellencamp looks like one for the ages.

When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 7 got underway, Dorit was busy showing off the luxury yacht she was using as the venue for PK’s 50th birthday party.

Lisa Vanderpump seemed shocked by the news that Dorit was performing with Boy George at the event. Maybe it’s because if you’re name-dropping, you should use an A-list celebrity.

Boy George is busy doing the reality TV circuit because, well, his career has not been in good shape for quite some time now.

In another part of town, Teddi was still mad about what happened the last time she was in the presence of Dorit. Dorit was mad about being served wine in a champagne flute.

“I mentioned about the glass because I do pay attention to those things,” Dorit complained to Vanderpump.

“I’m finding her to be a little bit tightly wound,” said about Teddi.

Teddi was given an invite to the event, and she met up with the likes of Camille Grammer, Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Mauricio and the two Lisas.

PK, who has made a name for himself for calling out the rest of the housewives and implying they are all deluded, seemed ecstatic about the whole thing.

He even showed his humanity and burst into tears. That’s when Dorit disappeared to get ready for her big performance with Boy George.

Erika was the one who helped out with the performance, and you could tell Dorit was thankful.

“Her support is the only thing that is getting me through,” Dorit confessed to the camera with a grin.

“It takes a lot of balls to perform at your husband’s party,” Erika said of her friend. “Bravo.”

The performance was decent, and the friends and family seemed to lap it up.

Who doesn’t love a bit of free entertainment at a party? Dorit’s vocals were probably better than Boy George’s and that’s saying something.

Later, Dorit wanted to get to the root cause of all the drama with Teddi, so she pulled her aside and Teddi was not ready to deal with all of the drama.

“I don’t give a f—k about the glass,” Teddi snapped at her enemy and giving the most condescending look in the history of the franchise.

“You are psycho. You’re psycho, honestly!” Dorit screamed back, clearly irate that Teddi did not want to entertain the thought that maybe she was in the wrong.

Teddi was taken aback but decided to try and let bygones be bygones and asked Dorit to put it all behind them.

“I’m not going to get over it if you keep acting like a psycho bitch,” Dorit said with a stern look.

Yeah, like we said, a feud for the ages!

What did you think of all the drama?

Siesta Key Season 1 Episode 13 Recap: The Aftermath

Well, that was quite the turn of events.

Siesta Key Season 1 Episode 13 picked up in the immediate aftermath of what happened at Chloe’s big birthday bash.

Juliette made her way off the boat and demanded a lift home from Garrett. What followed was the most awkward car journey in the history of reality TV.

Garrett took her home, and she reiterated the fact that she was looking forward to making her way back to school.

The next day, Juliette made her way back to Tallahassee for school. She quickly opened up to her friends about the sorry state of her relationship with Garrett.

The conversation switched up to what was happening between Juliette and Alex. The common consensus from her pals was that Alex was “disgusting.”

In reality, the pair makes a good couple because, well, they’re both as bad as each other.

Meanwhile, Kelsey and Madisson recounted the big fight to everyone, and you could tell Kelsey was loving the fact that Juliette was on the outs with everyone else.

Kelsey then opened up to her mother about heading to New York for some modeling work. Her mother worried because Kelsey previously stopped eating when she was trying to work as a model.

Kelsey reiterated that she did not plan to go down the dark route again and that she was ready to make sure her health was in check.

Her mother did not look convinced, but we’re sure we will find out more down the line.

Elsewhere, Madisson got a job with Alex’s mother, and it gave her the platform to air her frustration about Juliette “going off the deep end.”

Alex’s mother did not seem to care much for Juliette, and it’s not hard to understand why. Juliette seems to float wherever she thinks she will get friends.

There were two very different parties in the episode. Juliette had a party that was crashed by none other than Alex, while Kelsey and Madisson threw a party in their new apartment.

“What’s up?” said Juliette, who was very excited about Alex’s presence. Juliette’s friends sat on the sidelines and complained about how stupid Juliette was for letting him show up.

Back in Siesta Key, Garrett showed up at the housewarming, and it was evident that Carson was getting a little jealous. If you watch Siesta Key online, you will know that Kelsey has been getting closer to Carson of late.

It’s glaringly obvious that there is still a spark between the former lovers, so Carson should probably get out now. Maybe Juliette will snap him up because she loves picking up Kelsey’s hand-me-downs.

When Garrett tried to call Juliette, she declined the call because she was a bit too busy getting up close and personal with Alex.

The next morning, Chloe told Kelsey and Madisson that Alex was with Juliette. In Kelsey’s defense, she admitted it was sad that Juliette did not want to give Garrett a chance.

Chloe wanted to know whether there was a chance for Kelsey to get back together with Garrett, but she shut all of the talks down.

She wanted to look to the future, and not wallow in the past. She did have her modeling career to look forward to.

Back in Tallahassee, Juliette’s friends were quick to find out what Alex was playing at, and he snapped at Hannah’s boyfriend.

“I knew my friends meant well, but Alex was my mistake to make,” Juliette narrated. Yes, she’s deluded.

Later, Chloe met up with Tarik and they chatted about how difficult it is to date in Siesta Key.

Tarik opened up about his ex-boyfriend being murdered in the Pulse shooting.

Chloe subsequently admitted the truth about Alex and Juliette to Garrett and it seemed to make him want to ice Juliette out.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 Episode 11 Recap: Tea Is Of The Essence

If you were holding out hope for some fresh blood on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, then we’re sure The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 Episode 11 was for you.

America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille was the new addition to the cast, and she brought a whole lot of drama with her.

Eva met up with Nene Leakes for a lunch date and wasted no time in confirming that Cynthia’s boyfriend, Will, had a girlfriend when she met up with him months before.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you will know that Will has been rather adamant about being single for the last few years.

The ladies wanted to look out for their friend, so they quickly tried to get the details they needed to rule him out as a liar.

When confronted, he did admit to dating the woman but claimed they were not an item and that they no longer keep in contact.

Will was mad that Eva was talking smack behind his back and took issue with it, but Nene stood up for Eva because she felt he should not be trashing a woman like that.

Cynthia seemed like she wanted to curl up into a ball and weep, and admitted that she had no idea who to believe. She made it clear that she would not date a man with a girlfriend.

Porsha then dropped the bomb that she had some vital information about the man that could change everything Cynthia thought she knew.

The episode concluded before Porsha got into the details, but it sure was a fun twist.

Elsewhere, Kenya Moore was still struggling to be apart from her new husband. Yeah, that dude who does not want to be part of the show.

It’s comical that the man HATES everything the show stands for but is happy enough to be married to one of the cast members.

Where’s the logic?

Kenya opened up to the girls about her wanting her husband nearby and revealed the root of her wishes. She wanted to have a baby with him.

We already know that Kenya is in the bad books with the producers because of her keeping aspects of her life private, but could a pregnancy storyline save her employment with the show?

We have no idea, but it’s sure fun to think about the lengths one would go to in order to stay in the limelight.

Kenya seems to think that purchasing weightlifting equipment for Marc will allow him to move to Atlanta and make everything great again.

Finally, Kandi was on the cover of Essence, and much of the drama from the hour took place at the party to celebrate it.

Kandi is at the top of her game, and she knows how to throw a party. Kandi invited Porsha to the event … even though they both hate each other.

What will she say about Porsha having dirt on Cynthia’s man?

Sister Wives Season 9 Episode 4 Recap: Meri’s Crazy Idea

It seems like Kody Brown and his family are talking about weddings every single episode.

But here we are.

On Sister Wives Season 9 Episode 4, the family continued to prepare for Mykelit’s wedding to Tony, and Kody had a lot to say about the looming nuptials.

“My baby girl’s getting married today,” the patriarch of the Brown family said.

“[Your] wedding’s gonna come together, you guys are gonna do your ‘I Dos’ without a hitch, and even if you have a hitch, if the cake falls over, if drunk cousins come, nothing’s gonna ruin this day for you guys if you two stay connected in each other’s eyes,” he said.

Maybe Kody forgot that his very public arguments with some of his wives have made the news over the years, but he was still acting like he knew everything.

Should we have expected anything less from this man? Probably not.

But it did show that he was at least trying to be positive about the wedding because a lot of fans have been critical of the wedding.

Mykelti and Tony have had demands for the big day that would send the wealthiest of families towards bankruptcy, but Kody and his wives seemed to try and accommodate the demands of the kids.

As we said before, it must be difficult when it seems like there are weddings happening every few weeks on the show.

The wedding rehearsal seemed to hit a lull pretty much off the bat, and that’s not a good thing.

As expected, Mykelti was starting to feel the heat. She and Tony had all of the visitors gearing up to attend the event, but what if something ruined the big day?

Thankfully, Kody’s speech helped quell fears that the day was going to be a disaster and it helped everyone move past it.

That’s not to say Meri was off the hook, however.

If you watch Sister Wives online, you will know that Meri has been struggling to find her place in the family ever since her daughter went off to college.

Given that highly publicized catfish scandal and the drama that came with it, Meri has seemed like a perpetual outsider, and it makes sense that she would want to branch away from the family.

That’s why she was rolling full steam ahead to open Lizzie’s Heritage Inn. Yes, she seemed to brush off what her family said about the bed and breakfast.

Could this foreshadow Meri’s exit from the series? If anything, she had had some very public meltdowns on the camera, and she likely wants to move past it.

That could explain why her family was worried about her buying the new business in the first place. It ruins the purpose of the show if one of the wives leaves, right?

In all honesty, not much happened in “Meri’s Crazy Idea.” It was 120 minutes of filler in preparation for the wedding episodes which look sure to be filled with drama.

Sister Wives continues Sunday on TLC.

Counting On Promotes New Season Without Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard, Fans Flip Out!

Great news for fans of Counting On: it’s less than a month now until the new season premieres!

We’ve got some bad news for fans of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard though …

Back in November, we learned that Derick had been fired from the show after repeatedly making offensive remarks about Jazz Jennings, the star of another show on TLC.

Jazz is also a child, by the way.

His comments had to do with the fact that Jazz is transgender, which he considers to be “a myth.”

“Gender is not fluid,” he tweeted at one point. “It’s ordained by God.”

When he got some backlash for that comment, he dug his hole a little deeper, tweeting “I want to be clear. I have nothing against him. I only have issue with the words and definitions being propagated here.”

Except he referred to Jazz as a “him,” not a “her,” which is disrespectful and hurtful and there’s no way he didn’t know that.

He made those comments in August, and in the following months, he continued to make ignorant statements about Jazz and the transgender community as a whole.

Then, in November, he tweeted “I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.”

“It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on tv these days.”

He was right about one thing: it is unfortunate what’s on TV these days.

Thankfully, TLC helped solve a bit of this problem by firing Derick soon after those statements.

Since then, he’s claimed that he wasn’t actually fired, that he just decided that it would be best if he and his family began “heading in a different direction.”

*Insert “Sure, Jan” gif here*

We have our doubts about that, but it’s clear that whatever happened, Derick and Jill really won’t be appearing on Counting On anymore.

The Duggar family’s Facebook page just shared a promotional image from the upcoming season of the show, and we see Jessa, Joy-Anna, and Jinger cozying up to their husbands.

Counting On Promo

Where are Jill and Derick?

Trying to think up a way to make a GoFundMe page without getting heaps of backlash for begging fans for money, we guess — whatever it is, it certainly doesn’t look like they’re filming a reality show anymore.

It’s nice to see that the Dillards are gone, and that while TLC hesitates to let the Duggar family go completely, they still won’t tolerate the kind of nonsense that Derick spews.

But as it turns out, many, many fans of this family disagree with that — and they took to the Facebook post to address this.

“Utterly ridiculous that TLC removed Jill & Derick everyone is entitled to free speech we may not agree but still no reason to remove them from the show!!” one person wrote.

That’s not how freedom of speech works, but OK, sure.

“I wasn’t aware that bullying was defined by disagreeing,” someone else commented. “Such a double standard with anything that is conservative. Such a sad thing. Freedom of speech only applies if your not conservative.”

… Seriously, do they not teach this stuff in school anymore?

Considering that another person wrote “I think everyone should have freedom of speech and Derick could say what he wants to say and that is freedom of speech…”, we’d wager that they don’t.

Yet another Dillard fan complained that “You can believe multiple spouses are fine and get a show on TLC. You can believe it is fine for a boy to live as a girl and have a show on TLC.”

“You CANNOT voice your deeply held beliefs based on Biblical principles and remain on a show on TLC.”

Another wrote “It is a shame how it is ok to bully anyone Duggar but they can’t have an opinion or a voice. I think the Dillards are awesome and will keep up with them on their social media accounts.”

None of these people see an issue with what Derick said? They all think it’s cool that he went after a 16-year-old girl, and they don’t understand why TLC may have had an issue with that?

It’s a scary, scary world out there.
