Kat Von D: I’m NOT Anti-Vaccine! I Just Think Vaccines Are the Devil!

Oh, Kat Von D …

Stop, honey. Just stop.

As you may have heard, Kat made quite the controversy for herself last week when she announced on Instagram that when her baby is born, she will be raising him vegan and without vaccinations.

Vaccinations are something that many people feel very strongly about, because, you know, people can die from completely preventable diseases without them.

In her statement, Kat said that she knew her beliefs and actions would create a lot of “backlash and criticism,” and that her own father “flipped out” when he heard her plans.

To feel real pain and anguish, she said, “try being an openly pregnant vegan on Instagram, having a natural, drug-free home birth in water with a midwife and doula, who has the intention of raising a vegan child, without vaccinations.”

That’s the real struggle, guys. That right there.

Even besides the anti-vaccine stance, her whole post was bizarre and self-pitying and just really, really off-putting, but throw in the bit about putting her baby at risk for disease, and it’s just a terrible situation.

Makeup lovers everywhere are boycotting her brand and contacting Sephora to let them know the reasoning — it’s kind of become a movement now.

This whole thing has caused such a big stir that Kat has to be aware of it, and it turns out she is, because she’s made a new rambling post on the topic.

And, wouldn’t you know it, this one is awful, too!

To start, Kat wrote that she and her husband, Rafael Reyes, “are NOT anti-vaxxers.”

“We are not against vaccines,” she attempted to explain. “Just because we have hesitancies and valid concerns about injecting our baby with specific chemicals and toxins does not mean we are anti anything.”

Hold up, Kat and her husband are both heavily, heavily tattooed, and their concern is with injecting chemicals and toxins into their baby?

That’s how she built her whole career. And also everything is a chemical.

“As a soon to be parent (and especially as a first-time-mom) I do feel it my responsibility to have questions, and to listen to my motherly instinct to question things, and do my research,” she continued.

“What we have found is that sometimes it isn’t always so black and white. While we believe medications, including vaccines, are not all bad — we also can’t dismiss the fact that some may not be good for everyone.”

She wrote that “There are plenty of studies that show some vaccinations can work wonders.”

She’s right — the vaccinations that prevent horrible diseases like polio really can work wonders.

But, she was quick to add, “There are also studies that show some people (including mothers, and babies) may be more susceptible to vaccine injuries more than others.”

“It’s unfair for anyone to expect me (or any parent) to take the word of the pharmaceutical companies who have much to gain from an industry worth billions without question — and then have to dismiss any concerns of my own.”

Kat said that her medical history isn’t anyone else’s business, and that it also isn’t anyone else’s business “why we would feel it important for us to explore all our options when it comes to vaccinating our child.”

Considering that, she hopes that before anyone criticizes her choices, “you would try and understand that this is our first child together, and we are simply just trying our best.”

In closing, she said that she wouldn’t be talking about the subject any further, and she also turned the comments off on her post.

“I think you would too,” she insisted, “if you were constantly receiving death wishes onto your unborn child.”

Obviously this is a lot to take in, but first and foremost, of course no one should be sending death wishes to Kat’s baby.

(Though honestly, judging by some of the comments she’s received elsewhere, we wonder if she really is receiving “death wishes” or if it’s more that people are warning her about what could happen if she doesn’t vaccinate her baby.)

It’s also interesting that she kicked things off by directly saying that she isn’t an anti-vaxxer before hitting all the main points that anti-vaxxers make.

Talk about “chemicals and toxins,” vaccine injuries, profit for pharmaceutical companies … she’s definitely an anti-vaxxer, she just doesn’t want people to call her one so her business doesn’t suffer.

If Kat would really do research about vaccines, she would see how important they are, and how any studies that show otherwise have been proven over and over again to be completely false.

Basically, sorry, Kat.

You’re still cancelled.

Blac Chyna: Fans Think She’s Really Pregnant, For Real

Blac Chyna’s relationship with Rob Kardashian may have been one huge dumpster fire, but she did get a baby out of it. Sweet little Dream is growing up before our eyes.

She’s moved on, but she’s been dogged by reports that she’s pregnant with 18-year-old YBN Almighty Jay’s baby.

And now, fans think that she’s trying and failing ot hide a baby bump. Is this really happening?

The pregnancy rumors about Chyna and YBN Almighty Jay were so intense that it appeared that the two briefly broke up before reconciling.

That would be understandable. What 18-year-old is prepared to be a father, or would imagine that his 30-year-old girlfriend would get pregnant so easily?

But it has now been a little over a month since those reports of pregnancy came out.

Many had assumed that they were false.

But some fans — and The Shade Room — noted that, in her recent outings, Blac Chyna may be sporting a baby bump.

They also note that her appearances out in public are now less frequent than they once were. Curious, from the camera-friendly Chyna.

A recent example is that Chyna showed up to her son, King Cairo’s, graduation from kindergarten.

While she was said to be sporting balloons, eyewitnesses were more focused on her abdomen.

Perhaps she had just eaten and was not wearing spanx before slipping on a very tight dress.

But … it sure sounds like she may have been sporting the beginnings of a baby bump.

That said, some have pointed out that, if she were really pregnant, that she would have taken more steps to hide that. That could be true.

And if she’s put on, like, three pounds, that might explain why she’s been a little less visible for eagle-eyed photographers in recent weeks.

Now, another sizable counter-argument is that Chyna has been posting photos to Instagram recently.

The photo where she stands in the sunlight is one of her most recent pics.

The one in which she’s curled up with a stuffed bear is almost as fresh.

In neither of them do we see any signs of a baby bump.

But … we don’t actually know that she took these pictures all that recently. She could easily have taken any number of photos in various outfits back in April or early May and been posting those photos as “new” pics ever since.

Chyna is a professional model; we’re sure that she could pull off a marathon of photoshoots and then stretch them out over months.

Some fans believe that she may be doing this — and, after Kylie Jenner hid her pregnancy for months in 2017, many are on the lookout for any celebrity trying to pull the wool over their eyes in the same way.

Besides, in that photo where Chyna is curled up with the bear? That would be a perfect pose to conceal a baby bump.

Why would Chyna hide a potential pregnancy?

Perhaps it’s a publicity stunt that she has worked up.

Many people believe that she leaked her own sex tape, even though it shows her being awful at oral sex, as a ploy for added attention.

Viewed through that lens, many fans could easily see her waiting until the perfect moment to reveal that she’s expecting a baby with her hunky teenage lover.

But … it may very well be that Chyna is not pregnant at all and has not been since she gave birth to Dream.

If so, are these fans engaging in accidental body-shaming by pointing out what they believe to be a baby bump?

Chyna is one of those very complicated public figures. One never truly knows what she is thinking.

Because of that, it’s anyone’s guess.

Some fans believe that she is not pregnant, but is taking the baby bump rumors and running with them — deliberately making them look more likely — as part of some scheme for her brand.

Because Chyna is so inscrutible, many find it easy to believe that everything that she does is a scheme.

But we would remind people that some things, with bad optics and worse business ramifications, were probably not planned. Like her Six Flags throwdown.

Chyna’s a human, and sometimes, humans get pregnant. Or get a bit of a belly. We probably don’t know which is which with Chyna untils he’s ready to clear things up.

All that we do know is that, based upon her track record, if Chyna really is pregnant, she’s likely to produce a very cute baby.

Luann de Lesseps: I Think Someone Drugged Me Before My Arrest!

On Christmas Eve of last year, Countess Luann de Lesseps was arrested after allegedly trespassing in the wrong hotel room and kicking a police officer.

She says that her life has improved since her arrest, and a huge part of that has been her changed relationship with alcohol.

Now, as she speaks to Dr. Oz about exactly what she’d had to drink, she suggests that someone may have slipped drugs into her drink.

On Wednesday, Luann sat down with controversial television personality Dr. Oz to discuss what went into her system on that fateful day.

“I had rosé at lunch, with my girlfriend, we split a bottle of Whispering Angel, which is normal.”

Whispering Angel might sound like the name of a lonely smuggler’s spaceship, but it’s just a brand of one of those light pink wines that taste good.

“And then there were some people there that were fans, so they sent me more rosé.”

That was nice of them!

“So I drank more than I usually would.”

But they’re surely not to blame for events that followed.

Luann shares that she and her friend had more to drink.

They stopped, she says, for “not one martini, but two.”

At this point, we’re looking at the better part of a bottle of wine and a couple of martinis. That’s enough to get anyone buzzed, at least.

“So, by the time I get to the Colony, I was pretty sloshed and then I don’t know.”

While it’s possible for a woman Luann’s size to get drunk off of the amount of alcohol that she describes, she wonders if there was an added ingredient that made things worse.

“I almost think that somebody slipped me something, because I don’t remember a thing after that.”

Blacking out is dangerous and scary.

Dr. Oz asks: “Do you consider yourself an alcoholic?”

Luann responds with a lot of honesty.

“You know, that’s a good question. I don’t really know.”

It would be easy to just say “yes” or “no” to please viewers, but she directly explains her thinking.

“I think that I’m a self-medicator, that’s for sure.”

Self-medicating is behind a lot of substance abuse.

Luann explains exactly what was behind her overindulgence in alcohol.

“I think that I was using alcohol to numb my pain and my emotions until it didn’t work for me anymore. Until it got me into a lot of trouble.”

It was, she reveals, a huge wakeup call.

“I live in the moment. I live for today. For today, it’s just … not drinking. And I don’t really want to drink right now.”

This brought on applause fromt he audience.

“I don’t actually need it. I’m better without it. I’m so much better without it.”

Recent photos and videos of her on social media have shown her with water and diet soda.

Did someone slip something into her drink?

Luann is no inexperienced drinker (no shade), so we’d think that she’s mixed wine with martinis before.

There can be other factors — how much you’ve eaten, how much sleep you’ve gotten, and which alcohols you’re consuming — that can alter your experience with drinking for the worse.

We would certainly hope that no one decided to spike her drink, because that would be awful.

It could potentially explain what happened. But so, of course, could the alcohol and emotional distress alone.

(And we wonder if the police tested her for anything other than alcohol at the time)

We’re so glad that she is doing so much better than she was on the day when her insane arrest video was recorded.

Paris Jackson Claps Back at Family Members Who Think She’s Going to Die

While Paris Jackson's fans have been thrilled to see her locking lips with Cara Delevingne and generally living her best life, some people have been worried.

In fact, a report came out claiming that Paris' own family fears that her behavior is putting her in danger and even that her premature death is imminent.

Now Paris has recorded a video, and she's clapping back at her own family members.

So, remember that time that Paris Jackson nearly plummeted to her death?

We pointed out that she was careful to very deliberately not fall from the roof, but apparently the image of that video, which Paris herself elected to share, is haunting her loved ones.

Page Six reports that Paris Jackson's family fears for her life.

They even compare her near-tragedy to the time that Michael Jackson dangled baby Blanket from a window.

"But this is worse than that because I still think Michael had control of Blanket and they weren’t nearly as high up as Paris is in this video."

Even though Paris was totally okay, it has people worried that she's in a self-destructive spiral. Some might say that she's just … 20.

"She’s lost it. She really has."

The relative goes on to say:

"Everyone saw that video, and even though we all knew that she’s now OK, watching it was so traumatic that nobody wants to show it to either Katherine or Joe."

Well, not all celebrities look at stories about themselves.

And even the stars who do look into what people are saying about them don't always comment on it publicly.

But Paris Jackson saw it. (She even reveals, in the video, how she saw it)

"So apparently people think I’m about to die."

She states that pretty matter-of-factly in this video, which was recorded while she was in a car with a friend.

"My therapist texted me about it laughing though, so that’s good."

We're glad that she has such a good relationship with her therapist.

Paris continued in a second video (also below), saying:

"So I guess to the family members that are talking to all of these news outlets saying they’re worried for me:"

And she has a serious question for family members who would rather be a source than speak to their own relative.

"When is the last time you called me?"

Oh. That's a good question.

Paris isn't done.

And she even has an example of someone who knows her well enough to not be concerned.

"Prince isn’t worried. Why? Because we talk all the time. We hang out."

By Prince, she of course means Prince Jackson, her brother.

"If you’re worried about me, call me."

That sounds like good advice.

There's no telling whether or not someone will take her up on that.

For one thing … no one wants to admit to having been the source that spoke out.

Paris Jackson is a sweetheart and she's just a very nice person. She's an environmentalist and she's deeply spiritual.

On top of being a very free spirit, she is 20 years old. Those of us who are risk-averse may cringe at the idea of getting anywhere close to a rooftop's edge, but Paris was careful. She trusts herself.

It seems a little much to blow one incident out of proportion … especially behind Paris' back like that.

That's not how families are supposed to treat each other, right?

As always, we wish Paris the best.

Hear her speak in her own words:

Who Is the Most Beloved Duggar? Fans Think They’ve Figured It Out!

We all like to think our parents don’t have a favorite child, but get a few drinks in any mom or dad, and you can probably coax them into admitting that they hold one of their offspring in slightly higher esteem than the rest.

Unfortunately, no one in the Duggar clan drinks, so fans had to resort to more labor-intensive methods in order to determine which of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 children reigns supreme.

According to an informal scoring system devised by fans and based on the family’s social media posts, a clear favorite has emerged in recent months.

And the outcome of the contest might surprise those who follow the Duggars closely.

It seems Jinger is unofficially the most favored Duggar among Duggars, this according to the number of times she appears on the family’s Instagram and Facebook pages.

Jinger is not only the number one subject on her the official Duggar Facebook account, she also enjoys the distinction of having the most photos on her siblings’ Instagrams.

That may come as something of a surprise to those who are familiar with the reputation as “the rebel Duggar” that Jinger has gained over the course of the past year.

Jinger was the first woman to wear pants in her family, the first female of her generation to move away from Arkansas, and the first to wait more than a year after her wedding to get pregnant.

Of course, living in Laredo, Texas – 750 miles away from the rest of her family in Tontitown, Arkansas – might ironically give Jinger an unfair advantage.

On top of that, Jinger fancies herself a photographer, which means she’s the most likely to pose for a selfie with her siblings, who then post the pics on their social media pages.

But maybe there’s more to it than that.

Maybe Jinger’s rebellious spirit really has made her the most beloved among her siblings.

Maybe the other Duggars are always competing for her attention or just long to bask in the presence of the first woman to finally say no to Jim Bob.

After all, that would go a long way to explaining why Jill and Jessa started wearing pants shortly after their younger sister blazed that trail.

Whatever the case, you can bet there will be a mad dash down to Laredo once Jinger welcomes her first child.
