Rob Delaney Reveals Young Son’s Tragic Death

Rob Delaney is a well-known comedian, most recently recognized for his role as co-creator, writer, and actor on Catastrophe. He’s also known for his humorous political observations on Twitter.

Now, however, Delaney is taking to social media to share grim news of a very personal nature.

His very young son, Henry, has passed away at two-and-a-half years old. Heartbreaking.

On Friday, February 9th, Rob Delaney took to Facebook to share a post that must have been astonishingly difficult to write:

“I have very sad news. My two and a half year year old son Henry has passed away.”

Devastating news.

“Henry had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016, shortly after his first birthday, following persistent vomiting and weight loss.”

Horrible at any age. Unspeakable when it’s happening to a baby.

“He had surgery to remove the tumor and further treatment through the early part of 2017.”

Unfortunately, that did not fully resolve the problem.

“Then the cancer returned last autumn and he died in January.”

“My wife and Henry’s older brothers and I are devastated of course.”

Of course.

“Henry was a joy. He was smart, funny, and mischievous and we had so many wonderful adventures together, particularly after he’d moved home following fifteen months living in hospitals.”

Henry had just started his life anew, it seems.

“His tumor and surgery left him with significant physical disabilities, but he quickly learned sign language and developed his own method of getting from A to B shuffling on his beautiful little bum.”

Children can be amazingly resourceful in the face of overwhelming obstacles.

“His drive to live and to love and to connect was profound.”

“I am astonished by the love-in-action displayed by Henry’s mom and his brothers.”

And he credits them with giving him purpose as he goes on.

“They are why I will endeavor to not go mad with grief.”

This is perhaps a reference to Rob Delaney’s struggle as an alcoholic. He has been sober for 16 years this month.

“I don’t want to miss out on their beautiful lives. I’m greedy for more experiences with them.”

That is such a healthy sentiment.

“The NHS nurses and doctors and the home carers and charity workers who helped our family survive Henry’s illness will be my heroes until the day I die. I am desperately sad right now, but I can say with authority that there is good in this world.”

Rob Delaney is American but currently lives in London.

“If you’d like to help other families in the UK with very sick children, please make a donation to Rainbow Trust (https://rainbowtrust.org.uk) or Noah’s Ark (https://www.noahsarkhospice.org.uk) in Henry’s name or in the name of someone you love.”

Hospice is sad enough, but hospice services for children is … bleak. Such services need all of the resources that they can get.

“Our family would be in much worse shape right now if it weren’t for them. I would also urge you to take concrete and sustained action to support the NHS, however you can. Do not take it for granted.”

The NHS, the UK’s single-payer healthcare system, comes under attack by politicians who — like those who oppose Obamacare in the US — seek to dismantle universal health services.

Rob Delaney ends his heartbreaking post with a plea.

“Finally, I ask that you respect my family’s privacy regarding this matter. I have nothing else to say that I haven’t said here.”

Of course. What could anyone ask beyond what he has shared? Why would anyone want to force him to speak about this?

“Thank you, beautiful Henry, for spending as much time with us as you did. We miss you so much.”

Rest in peace, Henry.

Jamie Lynn Spears Reflects on Almost Losing Daughter in Tragic Accident

It was been 10 months since Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter was injured in an ATV accident. Since then, Maddie has made an impressive recovery.

Now, Jamie Lynn is celebrating milestones in her life on social media, and reflecting on Maddie’s recovery and Maddie herself.

This is so heartwarming..

Maddie Aldridge’s tragic ATV accident could have cost the girl her life.

Maddie was driving an ATV — sometimes, that’s what you do when you’re part of a wealthy celebrity family and your aunt is some sort of deity-made-flesh — when it flipped upside-down in the water.

They were initially unable to free Maddie, resulting in her being trapped underwater for a couple of minutes, constrained by her seatbelt and by the protective netting on the vehicle.

It was an absolute nightmare for Maddie and for her parents.

Britney Spears asked for prayers from fans for her niece’s recovery. Initially, things looked grim.

As we all know, prolonged oxygen deprivation can have fatal results. And, even if Maddie survived, there was a chance that she’d lose things — motor skills, speech, memories — because of brain damage.

We are all so thankful that she made a full recovery. Maddie even returned to school less than two weeks later.

Still, it was a frightening time, and one that Maddie — and her family — will never forget.

Jamie Lynn Spears has been celebrating the 12 Days of Jamie Lynn Spears, reflecting upon her life’s major milestones.

She posted this photo (above) with the caption:

“The hardest milestone me and my family have ever faced was almost losing our beautiful Maddie.”

Obviously. It’s heartbreaking just to think about.

“But thanks to God and the two angels in this picture we were able to celebrate Maddie turning 9 years old all together.”

During the two days that it took Maddie to wake up, her parents and other loved ones must have been wondering if Maddie’s 8th birthday would be her last.

“This milestone became a true miracle, and we are forever grateful for that.”

Jamie Lynn Spears also reflected on Maddie’s greater impact in her life.

“Some milestones we never see coming, but I’m so blessed that It did. Maddie is the biggest blessing in my life so far #12DaysofJLS”

That’s a very cute way of reminding the world that you got pregnant as a minor.

In fact, Maddie was still starring on Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101 at the time when she became pregnant.

We should also point out that she calls Maddie “the biggest blessing in my life so far.

You can just call her your biggest blessing and lat it be understood that she’d be tied with any other children you might have down the line.

(Remember, Jamie Lynn Spears is only 26)

But Jamie Lynn gets points for accuracy.

Don’t worry, folks — not all of Jamie Lynn’s milestones are as dramatic as teen pregnancy or as heartbreaking as her daughter’s brush with death.

She’s also given a shoutout to her engagement, followed by her 2014 marriage, to her sister Britney Spears, and to her time on Zoey 101.

And, lest we forget, she also reminds us that she was on All That.

Gotta love those Nickelodeon classics, right?

August Ames: Controversial Porn Star’s Tragic Cause of Death Revealed

Even in 2017, this story was positively surreal.

Just two days after straight porn star August Ames made waves with her controversial and homophobic statements, she died by suicide at the age of 23. It was mysterious, strange, and sad.

And now we know exactly how she died.

August Ames, whose real names was Mercedes Grabowski, was a straight porn actress whose homophobic tweet and ensuing defense of it made the rounds earlier this week.

It all started with a tweet of hers:

“Whichever (lady) performer is replacing me tomorrow for @EroticaXNews, you’re shooting with a guy who has shot gay porn, just to let cha know. BS is all I can say [shrug emoji] Do agents really not care about who they’re representing? #ladirect I do my homework for my body.”

So, what she’s clearly saying here is that she believes that gay men, bi men, or a straight man who has had sex with a man for money (plenty of male porn actors have sex with people they wouldn’t choose to date — money is money) is more likely to have secretly contracted an STI.

(The porn industry tests its performers regularly, particularly those who film bareback — as most of them do)

This is a complicated issue, because as August Ames said herself while defending herself on Twitter, it’s her body and her choice.

Which is fine. Being a sex worker does not in any way negate your bodily autonomy or grand automatic consent or whatever.

You know what’s not fine?

Bigotry.

Some sex workers refuse to do scenes with a man who’s had sex with a man. Some sex workers refuse to do scenes with black men. That’s their right.

In both cases, though, it sure looks a lot like prejudice. And the assumption that a man who has done gay porn is more likely to be diseased than someone else, well, that reeks of some anti-gay beliefs.

Her tweet was further complicated by the fact that she was “warning” some unknown other woman, as if she believed that all women shared her prejudiced belief.

“don’t have anything to apologize for!” she tweeted.

“Apologizing for taking extra steps to ensue that my body stays safe?”

Obviously, she would not have faced this kind of backlash if she were just a performer who always had her costars wear condoms (though that can be a career-killer). It’s because he “precautions” were so targeted that she was controversial.

“F–k you guys attacking me when none of my intentions were malicious. I f–king love the gay community!”

Given her other tweets, people read that as “I love these disease-prone, untrustworthy folks!”

“What the f–k ever! I CHOOSE who I have inside my body. No hate.”

A lot of people wanted for her to understand that her views did not reflect reality and that her beliefs were mistaken.

Though some of the responses to her tweets were extreme, the vast majority did not want her to die.

Unfortunately, on Tuesday, December 5th, news broke that August Ames had died at the age of 23.

23 is young — young enough that she could have later grown and realized the error of her beliefs. She’s not the first to have some problematic opinions at 23?

For a little perspective, we’re talking about a woman who was probably too young to have told you where she was and what she was doing on 9/11.

August died by suicide, but the circumstances and manner of her death were unknown.

Until now.

HollywoodLife reports that the The Ventura County Medical Examiner Media spokesperson shared August Ames’ cause of death:

“Mercedes Grabowski died of asphyxia due to hanging. [The] manner is suicide.”

That is the medical examiner’s determination.

The toxicology report (those never get finished as quickly as they do on police procedurals) has yet to come back, and may be illuminating regarding Ames’ state of mind.

We can only assume that the backlash played a role in her mental state before she took her own life.

August Ames has amassed more than 270 credits in the porn industry since 2013. She’ll be missed by fans, fellow adult performers, and of course by her friends.

Her husband, Kevin Moore, has asked for privacy as he mourns his wife.

Whatever anyone may think of August Ames’ statements, this is a tragedy.

A young woman lost her life. Many people lost a friend and loved one.

And the important discussion about STIs, homophobia, and sex workers? That will wait for another time.

Brad Bufanda Suicide: Tragic New Details Emerge

As previously reported, Brad Bufanda took his own life last week.

The 34-year old actor, likely best known to television fans for his recurring role on the first two seasons of Veronica Mars, leaped off the roof of a building early Wednesday morning.

His body was discovered around 12:40 a.m. on South Fuller Avenue in Los Angeles and paramedics were dispatched to the scene.

But there was nothing he could do.

Bufanda was dead when they arrived.

Multiple outlets reported at the time of this sad incident that Bufanda left a suicide note at the scene, although it’s unclear exactly what was written in it.

Now, however, TMZ alleges that insiders close to the actor’s family say Brad also wrote individual letters to relatives and friends just days before he killed himself.

These message arrived the day after Bufanda died.

At least one of the notes thanked the recipient for various deeds the individual did over the years to help Bufanda in a number of ways.

This same report says the suicide note itself listed Bufanda’s parents by name and also expressed gratitude to different people in his life.

TMZ writes that no one close to Bufanda saw this horrible act coming; they had no idea he was suffering.

Bufanda had just wrapped a leading role in a movie titled Stan the Man and had recently auditioned for roles in Avatar 2, Black Jesus and iZombie.

His career, at least, was on an upswing.

But one can never truly know what is going on in another one’s personal life or mind.

Said the 34-year old’s manager shortly after his passing:

“We are completely devastated for he was an extremely talented young actor and wonderful, caring human being.

“He was reviving his career, having just completed two movies, and we are shocked and saddened by his passing.

“The family would appreciate privacy at this difficult time.”

This is what Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas Tweeted in memory of Bufanda:

I’m heartbroken to hear of Brad Bufanda’s passing. He did great work on Veronica Mars. My heart goes out to his family.

Bufanda to Los Angeles from Southern California to pursue a full-time film career after graduating high school in 2001.

May he rest in peace.

Leah Messer Shares Tragic Details About Daughter’s Disease

If you caught this week’s episode of Teen Mom 2, there’s a solid chance it inspired you to have yourself a good long cry.

And not just because of all that truly depressing footage of Jenelle Evans.

While Jenelle’s segments got a lot of attention this week — which makes sense, given how upsetting they were — we also need to take some extra time to talk about Leah Messer’s scenes.

Particularly that heartbreaking one with Gracie.

In the scene we’re talking about, we saw Leah have a conversation with Gracie about Ali’s health.

(Just in case you need a quick refresher, Ali and Gracie are Leah’s twins, and Ali is the one suffering from a rare form of muscular dystrophy.)

We’ve seen a little bit of Ali’s struggles this season — that terrifying scene in which Corey Simms had to rush her to the hospital because of her breathing comes to mind.

We’ve also seen Leah discussing Ali’s declining health, and how things have gotten so bad that her teacher recommended an aide for her time at school.

But what we haven’t really seen too much of, this season or in previous seasons, is how Leah’s other children feel about Ali’s condition.

That changed in this most recent episode.

In what may be one of the most heartbreaking moments in the show’s history, Gracie asked Leah about the reason behind Ali’s muscular dystrophy.

“Is it because I crammed her up?” she asked. “Because I squished her?”

Because it turns out that Gracie had been blaming herself for her sister’s disease, because she was the bigger twin and she worried their positioning in Leah’s womb hurt her.

Leah tried to tell her that that wasn’t the case, that it was a gene mutation and nothing Gracie did.

She didn’t really understand it all, but Leah made sure to repeat that it wasn’t her fault at all.

One of Leah’s Twitter followers applauded her for how she handled the situation, and rightfully so. She replied that it was “a difficult real moment.”

“Broke my heart,” she told another follower who commented on the scene. “She is so torn… She doesn’t want to believe it’s real. However, it’s like, she kind of knows it’s real, and feels guilt.”

Another person asked why Gracie felt that why, and Leah explained that it was because of “just seeing baby pictures and ultrasound pics” in which it’s obvious that Ali was smaller.

“I guess she just assumed that and has never said anything until that moment!” she added.

And as if all the talk about Gracie and Ali wasn’t touching enough, Leah also made some comments about some other struggles she’s gone through.

One person told her that she should be proud of herself of how far she’s come in the past couple of years, that “you made mistakes in your past but you learnt from them, took responsibility & changed for the better.”

We assume this person is referring to Leah’s widely rumored drug use in an earlier season of Teen Mom 2 — the alleged drug use that led to her losing custody of the twins to Corey.

“We all make mistakes but it’s up to us whether we choose to grow from them or not!” she replied. “I want to be better every single day!”

Another fan told her that it had looked like she was “going down a bad path” then, but she’s since “turned it around.”

“Thanks,” Leah wrote in response. “A journey not yet shared and only a few know… #onlyintime.”

“It’s far deeper than any assumption thats been made,” she continued. “I know my story is going to inspire/change so many lives! #everythinghappensforareason.”

So that’s interesting, right?

On the show and in interviews, Leah has always been adamant that she went to rehab for anxiety issues — she’s never admitted to any drug use.

Is she saying that she’ll soon reveal what really happened then? And is she hinting that while many people assume she was using some kind of drugs, things were worse even than that?

Yeah, we’re going to need a million more details about all of this, Leah.

Thanks!

Ami Brown on “Death Bed,” According to Tragic New Report

Just a few days ago, we reported that Ami Brown had completed her chemotherapy and Alaskan Bush People fans would need to sit back and wait to see what the future holds for this reality star.

We now have an update on this future.

And we hate to say it… but things look more grim than ever before.

To quote Radar Online, Brown is “on her death bed at UCLA Medical Center” in Los Angeles.

The latest relevant post from this website says that those with her type of Stage 4 cancer are only given a “three percent chance of survival.”

This is a medical fact that has been discussed in the past when it comes to Brown, even among members of her own family, but the hope had been that Ami could defy these troubling odds.

And she still could, of course.

We have no doubt that Brown will fight as hard as she can for as long as she can.

However, those who have followed her and her loved ones on their Discovery Channel hit series may need to mentally prepare themselves for the worst.

Ami was diagnosed with cancer late last year.

The latest season of Alaskan Bush People has chronicled her battle with the illness, which has included treatment in Southern California.

The family relocated in order to be with her, while Billy Brown actually spoke to the press last month about his wife’s tragic condition.

“She’s the strongest person I know, so if she’s saying it hurts, it really hurts,” said the family patriarch to People Magazine, adding of her wife:

“She tries to hide it from everybody but four or five times a day she bends over like a baby and cries.”

Brown went on to say at the time that he feared the cancer would spread to Ami’s brain, and if that happens, there would be no hope at all for his wife.

“This is really hard, but this is also the strongest our faith has ever been,” Brown added in the aforementioned interview. “Our faith is giving us hope.”

Ami herself also talked to People around this same time, admitting that “everything hurts” these days and saying she’s trying to remain as calm and optimistic as possible.

“Worrying about it only makes it worse,” said Ami, admirably, concluding:

“There is hope and that hope is having faith in God. You can’t give up. I tell people be happy. Just be happy. It’s a choice.

“Things can be hard and you just want to curl up but you have to shine.”

We continue to send our thoughts and prayers to Ami Brown.

Ariel Winter: New Details of Tragic Childhood Abuse Revealed

Ariel Winter is honestly just a treasure, isn’t she?

Lately it’s been mostly because of all the body positivity stuff — girl is the best in the game at rocking some scandalous clothing and being completely unapologetic for it.

Because really, why should she have to apologize for wearing short shorts or revealing tops?

But while Ariel’s amazing crusade against body-shaming is something to be proud of for sure, and while it’s definitely one of our favorite topics to discuss, that’s not exactly why we’re here today.

Nope, the topic today is Ariel’s sad childhood and the amazing strength she’s shown in overcoming it.

You probably know at least a little about the story — it was big news a few years ago.

Essentially, after being investigated by child protective services, Ariel was removed from her mother’s care when she was 14 and temporary custody was given to her older sister.

Then, when she was 15, she was emancipated.

Those are the basics, but the full story, which Ariel is sharing in a new interview with the Hollywood Reporter, is quite a bit more disturbing.

As she tells it, she began acting when she was just four years old — not necessarily because she really wanted to, but because it was what her mother, Crystal Workman, wanted.

Throughout the beginnings of her acting career, her mother informed her that she wasn’t allowed to associate with other girls at all, “because females are competition.”

She says that her mom put an insane amount of pressure on her — “You don’t get to mess up when you have somebody around you who is constantly watching.”

Her mother also made sure that Ariel’s access to food was “very, very restricted,” so that she wouldn’t gain too much weight.

That part is especially concerning, seeing as how she began her career when she was just four years old and her mother was in charge for years after, throughout her most formative years.

She also wasn’t able to go to school very often, because acting trumped education.

As for her father, she says that “He just opted out a little bit,” and he was never really around.

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any sadder, she adds that from the time she was about seven years old, she was dressed in “the smallest miniskirts, sailor suits, low-cut things, the shortest dresses you’ve ever seen.”

“People thought I was 24 when I was 12.”

Even more disturbing is the fact that she says “If there was going to be a nude scene when I was that age, my mother would have a thousand percent said yes.”

The adults on the Modern Family set (she began working on the show when she was 11 years old) also noticed that things weren’t quite right.

The on-set tutor reveals to the magazine that “I would order a couple lunches in my name so Ariel could eat one of them. I could tell she was hungry.”

“Boiled chicken and cucumbers isn’t going to do it for a growing kid.”

The tutor also claims that “Her mother kept her out late at night at these ridiculous parties. She was 12 and 13 years old and had to be on set at 6:30, 7:00.”

When she was around 14, Ariel says that she “went through a really rough period, a really bad chapter.”

Her old teacher says that although she’d been concerned for her wellbeing for years, she wanted to wait until she asked her specifically to get help, and in 2012 she did.

“Ariel told me she was ready,” the woman says. “She was very scared … She knew the consequences.”

At first Ariel thought she’d have to go into foster care, and she was prepared to do so, but then her older sister was able to step in and take custody.

And you know the rest.

Thankfully, she’s doing much, much better these days — she’s going to therapy and doing some catch-up work with her education.

This month she’s even beginning college classes at UCLA!

“The reason I’m going to college,” she explains, “is because I do want knowledge in another field. College isn’t the college experience for me.”

“I’m not going to be in a sorority, I’m not going to network, I’m not even really going to make my lifelong friends. I’ve had the career experience. I’ve had the experience of taking care of myself.”

“I’m going to college because I genuinely want to learn,” she says.

She’s not sure what exactly she wants to study, but she does say that she wants to be able to start a charity and to help people who’ve been through similar experiences.

“Even though I wish I had a better childhood,” she says, “I wouldn’t trade it, because it made me who I am today.”

“I still respect the people that hurt me.”

Yeah, we feel like despite all she’s been through, Ariel is going to be just fine.

Ryan Reynolds Honors Stuntwoman Who Died in Tragic Accident on Deadpool 2 Set

Stunt work can be incredibly dangerous, which is why stunt performers have jobs in the first place. They have a set of specialized skills to keep them as safe as possible, and often unseen measures are taken as added precautions.

Unfortunately, that’s not always enough.

Yesterday, a tragedy occurred when a stunt performer died on the set of Deadpool 2. The film’s lead, Ryan Reynolds, is speaking out and sharing his grief.

Ryan Reynolds is known for his great sense of humor, both on screen and in person.

But he is also very capable of speaking seriously.

Topics don’t get much more serious than death.

And Ryan Reynolds tweeted out a message on behalf of everyone involved in the film:

“We’re heartbroken, shocked, devastated…”

Of course they are.

“But recognize nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.”

That’s absolutely the right thing to say and the healthiest perspective to maintain.

No one could feel that loss as acutely as her closest loved ones.

“My heart pours out to them — along with each and every person she touched in this world.”

The woman who died was not initially identified.

We now know who she is, however, and since her loved ones have been notified, let’s tell you a little about her.

Her name was Joi SJ Harris.

She was a pioneering black motorcycle racer, which made her a natural fit for Deadpool 2.

Though the stunt had been rehearsed without incident multiple times, Joi reportedly hit a curb and became airborne, flying through a building’s window.

Emergency services were called, but unfortunately, paramedics and even doctors can only do so much.

This happened at about 8am on Monday morning.

Here is a photo of her — a selfie shared on Facebook:

According to her website, Joi SJ Harris got her Class M license back in 2009.

And she never looked back.

Joi only began racing in 2014 after acquiring a racing license the year before.

She became the first ever black woman to participate in a road-racing event that was sanctioned by the American Motorcycle Association.

Her Deadpool 2 role was reportedly her first-ever movie gig, which only serves to compound this tragedy.

The first Deadpool was widely acclaimed and featured some terrific action scenes, including plenty of motorcycle use.

We can only speculate as to what Joi SJ Harris’ role might have been in this film.

She was a stunt performer, so the character she represented may have been nameless.

It is also possible that she was a stand-in for a major character, like Domino — a fan favorite mutant from the X-Men universe whose power of probability-manipulation mostly translates to having preternaturally good aim.

Just as watching Star Trek: Beyond after Anton Yelchin’s death was bittersweet, and just like watching Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi will certainly be emotional after Carrie Fisher’s tragic passing, the experience of watching Deadpool 2 will be altered by the knowledge that Joi SJ Harris died while it was being filmed.

But it’s sure to be a fantastic movie, as the first one was.

We just wish that Joi SJ Harris had gotten to finish filming.

And, of course, to see herself in theaters.

No matter the scope of your role, that’s always cool to do.

Rest in peace, Joi.

And we’re glad that her life and death have been honored by the team behind the film.

There’s no telling when Ryan Reynolds will return to his usual Twitter brand of humorous tweets.

Princess Diana: William and Harry Reveal Their Tragic Final Conversation with Her

Hope you’re ready for a good cry ….

Because it’s coming, whether you like it or not.

As you’ve probably heard, this year marks the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s untimely death.

On August 31st, 1997, she was killed in a car crash in Paris, leaving behind her two young sons, Princes William and Harry.

This year, and this summer in particular, many people are taking some time to remember Diana, since she really was such a beloved public figure.

That means that William and Harry are pretty much obligated to talk about their late mother in interview after interview.

In the latest one, for a televised special called Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, set to air tomorrow in the UK, the two princes remembered the last time they every spoke to her.

Brace yourselves …

The last conversation between Diana and her sons was a phone call, they revealed.

They were staying with their father, Prince Charles, at Balmoral, a royal estate in Scotland, when she called them.

“At the time Harry and I were running around minding our own business, you know, playing with our cousins and having a very good time,” William says.

Harry adds that “As a kid I never enjoyed speaking to my parents on the phone. And we spent far too much time speaking on the phone rather than speaking to each other, because of the way the situation was.”

It’s already too sad, right?

Harry continues the story, saying that when the phone rang, William “went to go and speak to her sort of for five minutes.”

“I think Harry and I were just in a desperate rush to say goodbye, you know, see you later and we’re going to go off,” William explains.

“If I’d known now obviously what was going to happen, I wouldn’t have been so blasé about it and everything else.”

“But,” he says, “that phone call sticks in my mind quite, quite heavily.”

As for Harry, he says that “I can’t really necessarily remember what I said, but all I do remember is probably, you know, regretting for the rest of my life how short the phone call was.”

It’s just so sad because when Diana died, William was 15 years old, and Harry was 12.

At that age, of course kids don’t want to sit down to have a long, meaningful conversation with their mother, especially over the phone.

It’s definitely understandable, and no one would fault them for it, but now they have to live with the fact that their last conversation with her wasn’t what they might want it to have been.

Speaking more generally about Diana, William says that “There are not many days that go by that I don’t think of her.”

“Her 20th anniversary year feels like a good time to remember all the good things about her and hopefully provide maybe a different side that others haven’t seen before.”

“It was that love,” Harry adds, “that even if she was on the side of the room, as her son, you could feel it.”

“So there’s you know, there’s a lot of … there’s a lot of grief that still needs to be let out.”

He’s definitely not lying — he also says that he’s only cried over the loss of his mother twice since her death.

Hopefully this new tradition of William and Harry being so open and honest about their feelings, even these very tough ones, will help them heal from what had to have been an extremely traumatic loss.

Maci Bookout Reveals Tragic New Details of Ryan Edwards’ Drug Use

Every time we hear something new about Ryan Edwards and his newly revealed drug use, things just get worse and worse.

Guess that’s one of the downsides to being high all the time, huh?

Rumors have been circulating for months now that Ryan was using — there aren’t many other explanations for his bugged-out eyes and spacy behavior — but Maci Bookout recently confirmed things on an episode of Teen Mom OG.

In the episode, Maci broke down to Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell while on vacation in Puerto Rico.

She cried, saying that she’s the only person in Ryan’s life who cares about getting him clean — his parents and his then-fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer, weren’t pushing him to get help.

She also expressed a fear that Ryan would die from his drug use, so you know the situation is dire.

Shortly after the episode aired, Ryan did check into rehab, and as far as we know, he’s still there.

Perhaps we’ll receive another update after Monday night’s episode, because Maci is getting real about the matter once again.

In a new sneak peek for the upcoming episode, Maci calls a counselor to get some tips on how to deal with Ryan.

“I’m not really sure exactly what it is that he’s using,” she admits, “but sometimes he’ll fall asleep while you’re trying to have a conversation with him.”

She also says that other times he’s “extremely wide-eyed, and he doesn’t look right.”

So we still don’t know exactly what Ryan’s in rehab for this time around, though his ex-girlfriend, Dalis Connell, has claimed that he went to rehab in 2012 for abusing prescription pain killers.

Maci tells the counselor that she hasn’t spoken to Ryan directly about things, but that she does want to get him help.

The counselor then asks her if she’d be willing to issue some sort of ultimatum to him — the suggestion he makes is legal action regarding the custody of their son, Bentley.

“I’m hoping it doesn’t get to that point,” she says, “but that would be the ultimatum.”

Maci’s always tried to push Ryan to be a more active father to Bentley, so if she’s willing to go this route, it’s clear that she believes things are very, very bad.
