Josh & Anna Duggar Continue Comeback Tour With Tribute to Eldest Daughter

Well Duggar fans, whether you like it or not, Jim Bob and Michelle’s eldest child is slowly worming his way back into your lives.

Many feared a day would come when Josh Duggar would once again be foisted upon an unsuspecting public, and a handful of perverse weirdos have been openly hoping for it.

But whether you’re currently celebrating or cringing yourself into oblivion, there’s no denying that the second coming of Josh is close at hand.

We won’t bother to brief you on Josh’s sex crimes or the various other ways he’s shown himself to be less than a model of Christian virtue.

Instead, we’ll skip right to the ongoing effort to rebuild his reputation:

It started with the announcement that Josh and Anna were celebrating the ten-year anniversary of the day that they got engaged.

Yes, the Duggars were in such a hurry to push this agenda that they couldn’t even wait until the actual wedding anniversary.

Shortly thereafter, Josh and Anna made a public appearance together, posing for pics at the wedding of family friends Josie Bates and Kelton Balka.

This may not sound like a big deal, but it’s the first time that the couple has appeared in public at a non-family event since 2015.

Let’s not forget that when Josh attended Joy-Anna Duggar’s wedding last year, his family was still so keen to sweep him under the rug that he was edited out of footage shot by TLC.

Now, in keeping with the proud Duggar tradition, Josh and Anna are getting their kids in on the act.

Or at least one of their kids, anyway …

Mackynzie Duggar turned 9 this week, and Anna celebrated by posting the above pic along with a touching caption.

“Nine years ago today we transitioned from newlyweds to a family of three when our first daughter Mackynzie was born,” Anna wrote.

“Mackynzie, it has been a joy to watch you grow into such a kind, fun and caring young lady!” she added.

“You live up to the meaning of your name as you are a wise leader! I am thrilled to watch you love Jesus, love others and strive to do what is right!”

Now obviously, Mackynzie is totally innocent, and we hope her birthday was a joyous occasion.

But these days, it’s hard not to be skeptical of everything that Anna posts — particularly when said posts are coming out so much more frequently that any other point in the past three years.

Just don’t say we didn’t warn you when Josh is making regular appearances on Counting On next season!

Mac Miller Tribute: See What the Rapper’s Mom Just Shared

Mac Miller’s mother has shared a beautiful tribute to her late son.

Days after the rapper was shockingly found dead at the age of 26, due to a suspected drug overdose, Karen Meyers has shared a very simple, albeit very telling and special, picture of her child.

You can see it here:

In the picture uploaded to Instagram, Meyers and her son (whose real name was Malcolm McCormick) are smiling together at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game.

It’s unclear when the snapshot was taken.

But it’s evident why this one was used by Karen to pay tribute to the late rapper.

As you can see, Miller is leaning his head against his mom’s and making a funny face; she captioned the photo with a broken heart emoji.

And she did so not long after Ariana Grande posted a similar tribute to her long-time boyfriend, a couple months after the stars split and about 48 hours after Miller was found dead.

This is the photo Grande shared on social media:

She did not pen a caption with it.

Miller battled substance abuse issues for years prior to his passing.

He was frequently open his addiction, just as Grande was open about the fact that Miller’s problems played a significant role in a relationship that eventually became too “toxic” for her to remain a part of.

In the wake of Miller’s overdose, a handful of terrible Internet users dared to blame Grande for Miller’s fatal actions.

They also wondered why Ariana did not immediately wrote anything online in response to the tragedy.

As if it’s any of their business and as if we should ever judge anyone about how they mourn a loved one.

On Friday evening, Miller’s family released a statement about the 26-year old’s death.

It reads:

“Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26. He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers.

“Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.”

An endless array of musicians have since shared their own thoughts about Miller’s passing, but we’re going to note John Mayer’s message below.

The artist only just posted it to Instagram late Saturday night and it stands out for its lengthy and personal nature.

This is what Mayer wrote about Miller:

This was going to be Mac Miller’s year. He made a quantum leap in his music. That’s incredibly hard to do, to evolve and get better and more focused while your career is already underway. You don’t get there without a lot of work, and Mac had put the work in.

I didn’t expect to play on his album the day he played some songs for me at his house, but when I heard “Small Worlds,” I gave it a short, chirpy little “yup,” which is the highest praise I can give a track. It means we don’t need to say another word, it’s going down.

I grabbed the nearest guitar in the room and within a couple of hours we had finished a tune that made me so incredibly happy to have a part in, not to mention we established a nice little friendship.

He was so funny I just kind of stopped typing “LOL” back in our texts.

Mac was, to me, on permanent LOL status. I gave him whatever guidance I thought I had the right to, having been through the press ringer in the past and wanting him to understand that none of that noise could ever really take a bite out of the music he was about to put out.

The last time I saw him, he was playing Hotel Cafe’ in Los Angeles for a crowd of 100 people.

He was nervous, and honest about it with the audience. I thought that was so endearing, especially seeing as he would go on to play one of the best sets I’d seen in a very long time. His band was unreal.

You gotta know that if you weren’t familiar with Mac Miller, you were about to be, whether you would have seen him at a festival, or a friend was going to catch a show and tell everyone they knew about it (like I did.)

Mac put in the work. He made his best album and formed the band that was weeks away from becoming a breakout live sensation. Believe me when I say that.

I send my love and support to everyone who knew him better, because what relative little I did, I just adored.

May Mac Miller rest in peace.

Ariana Grande Pays Moving Tribute to Mac Miller

Ariana Grande has broken her silence in response to Mac Miller’s shocking death.

In her own way, that is.

One day after Miller was found dead inside his home of a suspected overdose, the singer has acknowledged the tragic death of her ex-boyfriend.

Grande and Miller dated for about two years, breakng up in May, just a couple months before Miller would pass away.

According to sources at the time, the rapper substance abuse problem was a sigificant reason that Grande was forced to finally end the romance, as it had become highly toxic and unhealthy for her.

Because lots of people on the Internet are awful, some trolls attacked Grande on Instagram Friday evening because they:

  1. Blamed her for Miller’s overdose.
  2. Wondered why she had not yet commented on his passing.

Like we said, lots of people on the Internet are awful.

On Saturday afternoon, however, Grande did share the following photo of Miller on her official social media page:

She did not include a caption along with it.

Within an hour of going live, though, the black, white and sort of artistic image has garnered over 3.6 million Likes.

About a week after Miller and Grande split, the former was arrested for drunk driving after he got into a very serious car accident.

Grande responded by telling Mac to “Pls take care of yourself,” and she then clapped back hard at anyone who blamed her then as well for Miller’s personal issues.

“I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be,” she tweeted this spring, adding:

“I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years. Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.”

Miller was also in Manchester last year when a terrorist killed 22 people at one of Grande’s concerts.

These two had been through a lot prior to Mac’s death.

The day Grande and Miller broke up, Ariana wrote the following on Instagram:

Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet malcolm mccormick.

I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!

Unconditional love is not selfish.

It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!!

Elsewhere, another of Miller’s ex-girlfriends, Nomi Leasure, has spoken out on his death… and his life.

“So grateful we had our final moment. Our clarity, clearing of the air. You changed my life. I, yours. The residual effects of your passion ripple on. You are not gone. Not in the least.”

Leasure and Miller started dating in high school and broke up not long before he moved on wth Grande.

If you or someone you know is struggling with substance abuse, contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP.

May Mac Miller rest in peace.

Sally Field Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Burt Reynolds

Hollywood has lost a legend.

And Sally Field has lost a true love.

As previously reported, Burt Reynolds died on Thursday of a heart attack, passing away at his home in Jupiter, Florida of a heart attack.

The legendary actor was 82 years old.

Upon learning of his death, a number of entertainment industry heavyweights have expressed their sympathy and their sorrow (scroll down), but one name stands out from all the rest right now.

Sally Field met Reyonds on the set of the 1977 smash hit comedy, Smokey and the Bandit.

The actress and the actor would date for five years… while also co-starring in several more films, including Smokey and the Bandit II, The End and Hooper.

Although they split for good in 1982, Reynolds recounted the romance over 30 years later in an interview with Vanity Fair, referring to Field as “the love of my life.”

And it’s clear now that Reyonds was never far from the two-time Oscar winner’s heart, either.

“There are times in your life that are so indelible, they never fade away,” Field said in a statement this afternoon, adding of Reynolds:

“They stay alive, even forty years later. My years with Burt never leave my mind. He will be in my history and my heart, for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy.”

Reynolds’ manager, Erik Kritzer, confirmed the passing of this big screen icon, while his niece, Nancy Lee Hess, said the following on Thursday:

“My uncle was not just a movie icon; he was a generous, passionate and sensitive man who was dedicated to his family, friends, fans and acting students.

“He has had health issues, however, this was totally unexpected. He was tough. Anyone who breaks their tailbone on a river and finishes the movie is tough. And that’s who he was.

“My uncle was looking forward to working with Quentin Tarantino (in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and the amazing cast that was assembled.”

In recent years, Reynolds used a cane while out in public. His last appearance in front of a big crowd took place at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.

In the wake of his passing, nearly everyone across Hollywood chimed in with a story about Reynolds or with a few thoughts about the highly-respected actor. To wit:

Arnold Schwarzenegger: Burt Reynolds was one of my heroes. He was a trailblazer. He showed the way to transition from being an athlete to being the highest paid actor, and he always inspired me. He also had a great sense of humor – check out his Tonight Show clips. My thoughts are with his family.

Reba McEntire: My good friend has started a new journey. Rest in my peace my friend. I’ll never forget the wonderful times we spent together.

Sylvester Stallone: A sad day, my friend BURT REYNOLDS Has passed away. I remember him back in 1979, he always reminded me that I should’ve cast him as Colonel Trautman in FIRST BLOOD , I said that’s impossible, because you’re too expensive and too famous, and probably tougher than Rambo ! He laughed , He had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed his company so much… RIP Buddy

burt tributes

Goldie Hawn: There is only One Burt Reynolds. One! I loved our time our laughs and fun. Now your angels will giggle at your silly jokes as they hold you lightly as you rest dear one.

Kevin Bacon: Im 19.  I get a few lines in a movie. The megastar on set was really nice and cool to this punk actor(me) for no reason. The director called me before the movie came out to tell me I had hit the cutting room floor. But I never forgot that Star. Thanks Burt. RIP.

Paul Wesley: Burt Reynolds was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever worked with. He took me under his wing when I was first starting out as an actor and offered friendship, advice and guidance. I’ll never forget how much that meant to me.

Michael Chiklis: I owe my career, at least in part, to the great Burt Reynolds. Heartbroken to learn of his passing. He was one of a kind. A fun loving, charismatic talent who did many good deeds quietly, without personal expectation but rather out of the kindness of his extraordinary heart. RIP.

May Burt Reynolds rest in peace.

Lauren Swanson Wears Nude Heels (!!!), Pays Tribute to Josiah Duggar

Lauren Swanson has gotten naked, folks.

Kind of. Sort of.

Okay, not really at all.

But the newlywed wife of Josiah Duggar has made headlines both for what she just wrote about her husband on Instagram and for what she wore while doing so.

Yes, to be more clear, of course Swanson wore clothing.

She isn’t that much of a rule-breaker.

She hasn’t gone full Cardi B on her conservative in-laws or anything.

But Swanson did get all dolled up in a flowing green skirt, striped top and nude heels to pose alongside Josiah and write the following over the weekend:

“Can’t believe it’s almost been 2 months since I married my best friend!!!’

She concluded with the hashtags “#2monthiversary #marriageisthebest #amazonoutfit.”

Swason and Duggar got married on June 30, shocking fans and supporters because they had not confirmed their wedding date ahead of time.

The ceremony took place at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

It was officiated by Lauren’s father and the couple gushed afterward to People Magazine:

“What a joy it is to be husband and wife! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!”

And then Duggar on his own stated:

“What was even more perfect was to see my beautiful bride walking down the aisle.

“We are so thankful the Lord has brought us to this place and we can’t wait to begin our journey as husband and wife!”

Ever since their big day, there’s been speculation that Swanson is pregnant, which would explain why the stars moved so quickly to exchange their vows.

This speculation has not been verified, however.

But while having sex and getting pregnant before marriage would be the ultimate in Duggar family rule-breaking, Swanson’s ensemble in the photo far above isn’t that far off.

(Okay, fine. It’s pretty far off from premarital sex. But it’s still very very frowned upon by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.)

According to

“You won’t catch any of the Duggar girls in trendy crop tops or mini skirts. Instead, they practice modest dress, which means keeping shoulders, thighs, and cleavage covered.

“Not only does it prevent distractions while dating, but it also ‘keeps the relationship pure’ according to Michelle.”

sweet romance

Is Swanson exposing any cleavage in the photo in question? No.

But she’s coming close to a dress that goes above the knee and some might label those “f-ck me heels” and she also shared the image directly above on Instagram.

It features her and Josiah making out in the dark — and while some may interpret it as sweet and artistic, the elder Duggars may interpret it as akin to pornography.

We’re not kidding.

And neither was Josiah when he said THIS about marriage, keeping it as real as one can about this blessed union.

Check out pictures from Duggar and Swanson’s wedding below, including the very first look at their very first kiss:

Jim Parsons Pens Heartfelt Tribute to The Big Bang Theory

According to a handful of recent reports, Jim Parsons was the person who effectively canceled The Big Bang Theory.

The veteran actor was offered a chance to continue portraying the character of Sheldon, earning $ 1 million per episode while doing so, for two more seasons.

These reports stated that Parsons was simply ready to move on.

We can’t verify whether or not this is accurate, but we can say that Parsons clearly has a lot to say in the wake of CBS’ big announcement on Wednesday.

The network confirmed via press release that The Big Bang Theory will end after its upcoming 12th season, saying simply:

“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons.

“We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”

In response to this news… we are very sad.

But also in response to this news, Parsons has shared a photo of himself and his co-stars on Instagram, while penning a lengthy caption in relation to it.

It is hard (nearly impossible, actually) to really accept that this is a picture of the first of the final 24 episodes we will shoot for ‘The Big Bang Theory, wrote the four-time Emmy Award winner, adding in emotional detail:

I feel such intense gratitude for our devoted viewers who are the ACTUAL reason we have been graced with the opportunity to explore these characters for 12 years of our lives.

[The crew] are in many ways the real steady heartbeat that keeps this body of work alive and breathing while we, like flailing arms and legs, act like jackasses and fools in attempt to make someone laugh.

The writers are the ones coming up with organic, entertaining ways to keep the life of this show going which is a task much, much more challenging than anyone other than them will ever know or understand.

Parsons has anchored The Big Bang Theory since its premiere.

Unlike many other shows that have been on the air for so long, all original cast members have stuck around and will be there to wrap up the sitcom next May/

Parsons also thanked all the actors who have appeared on the series, for being “my playmates that I have fallen in love with and who have become part of my life on set and off.”

And this is how he concluded his message:

We look into each other’s eyes and say these words and end up creating this weird, other reality that has enriched my life more than I will fully ever understand.

I will miss all of you and all of this more than I can say and more than I can know at this time.

Parsons is the latest cast member to speak on The Big Bang Theory coming to an end.

Earlier this week, Kaley Cuoco shared her own heartbreak over the decision.

“This ride has been a dream come true,” she wrote on Instagram. “And as life changing as it gets.”

She continued:

“No matter when it was going to end. My heart would have always been broken in two… We promise to bring you the best season yet…

To the fans, our crew, families, Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers, CBS, and everyone who has supported us for so many years: Thank you.”

Finally, Kunal Nayyar, who portrays Raj Koothrappali on the series, has said the following:

“As you may already know… and for those of you who don’t. This will officially be Big Bang Theory’s last season.

“After season 12 we will be the longest running multi camera sitcom in the history of television. There are no words in any language that can describe what my heart wants to say…

“The love that I feel for all of you is boundless. Without you the fans there would be no us. Tonight I sleep with a prayer of gratitude on my lips.

“This isn’t goodbye… yet… still 23 eps to shoot!”

Fair enough. We’ll wait to shed more tears until then.
